QUOTE There are a million reasons for viewers to tune in to the 2017 American Music Awards. One being that Lady Gaga, Shawn Mendes and Nick Jonas will take the stage at the upcoming award show, organizers revealed Tuesday. As she’s on the road, Gaga will perform “The Cure” live from her Washington, D.C. tour stop. Jonas will supply a rendition of “Find You” while Mendes — who just took home an armful of MTV EMAs — will sing “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back.” Mendes is nominated for Favorite Artist in the adult contemporary category, and Lady Gaga is in the running to win favorite female artist in the pop/rock category. I wanted NEW SINGLE but I suppose this will have to do. Will be good to get a sneak peak at the Joanne Tour too, as it's where Gaga is most at home - on the road! All updates and rumours and videos in here please |

HYPED because it's the final song on setlist so she's probably closing the AMAs too (just my calculations obv but seems about right)

Could be one of my favourite performances from her. The fact it's her on TOUR with all her fans around her, after being off in pain a few weeks earlier AND SHE DOES THAT. A total professional.
Also so happy she won! What a year/ERA this has been !!! |

That's a bit pimped up performance though what I've seen from the tour clips. I wouldn't expect to see all that when she performs The Cure in Europe.

Am I the only one who thought her vocals were unusually off on this performance? I loved it otherwise and it's made me excited for February! <£

Am I the only one who thought her vocals were unusually off on this performance? I loved it otherwise and it's made me excited for February! <£ i thought so too, her adlibbing wasn't as spot on as it usually is but gaga is always best at her most vulnerable and at her most raw so i do think there's a charm to it however i would've preferred this song to be sans choreo and stripped back / more sultry in the verses as that's what it comes across like on record fantastic staging - the piano was EVERYTHING |

The performance is everything because of the STORY and it's basically a celebration of the era where she's been constantly trying to find a cure to all of her ills and she's basically got it. <3
