Excellent. The more rubbish songs in semi 1 the higher the chance of Ireland getting to the final (assuming Lesley can actually sing Maps live)

Finally saw the video and I just gotta say.. why does this whole performance feel like a scene from a russian version of Pitch Perfect?

I'm surprised by the negative opinions in here! I think the song is quite interesting and a diversion in sound for Russia but feminism rap with ethnic instrumentation and Russian lyrics for the first time in ages? I'm kinda into it. Plus the stage presentation and energy brought onto the stage is really high in that performance. I'd be very surprised if this didn't qualify? Particularly as its Russia.
this is the video of the live performance from the NF I presume? |

This is incredible and I'm FINALLY on a board with a Russian entry.
I'm also perplexed to see negative responses as this is one of the most surefire Qs this year thus far lmao :') |

I like this a lot, not my absolute fave but we've already got a few pop bangers, ballads and some more to come so something different, in Russian, with a great message, is welcome in my eyes!

This is growing on me, it's actually nice to see an entry from Russia which hasn't been written with the clear purpose of getting a really good result at Eurovision. Still not sure it's a qualifier as I'm not convinced it will connect enough from one listen, but it could go either way, I could easily see it getting a "Mamo"/"Lost and Forgotten" type of result as well.

So... some organisation of (probably... most likely... definitely) racist butthurt idiots complained to the POLICE about Manizha's song and asked to investigate it for "extremism". They are SO butthurt she's actually originally from Tajikistan and not Russia and DARES to sing about some sort of feminism.
