Ella Eyre doing deservedly well with her album, it would be wonderful if she can retain a top 5 position. Katie Melua should improve her position in the next update as she was top 30 on itunes.

YES for Foals, really hope they can hang on! (And this probably supports my prediction for The Weeknd's sales as well because Foals aren't going to be shifting huge numbers either... )
Ella Eyre's album doing decently enough after all, I wonder if it could have challenged for #1 if it came out a few months back instead though. |

The number 1 album will be under 20,000 this week for sure.

Holy Fire did 38K in week 1 back in 2013, surely it won't be much lower than that for album 4.

The number 1 album will be under 20,000 this week for sure. Wouldn't be too sure - Foals' last album sold 38k in February 2013. I don't expect those sort of numbers again but I'd be surprised if they are below 20k. I suspect even Jess Glynne at #3 will pass 20k this week. |

The number 1 album will be under 20,000 this week for sure. It won't be THAT low, I expect the top 2 could both manage 30-35k at least. Hard to tell with no sales info of course. Looking at the singles mids I see the DJ Snake remix of 'You Know You Like It' is being combined with the original version, normally this would make sense but as DJ Snake is credited as the lead artist on this version I thought they'd be separated. |

Bars and Melody have plummeted straight out of the top 100... no surprise, but when was the last time an album made the top 5 and left the top 100 the next week?
Natalie Imbruglia appears to have left us too, however I'm surprised she even made the top 75 to begin with! Biggest surprise is the major floppage of John Newman's single, not even making the midweeks! Oops |

Bars and Melody have plummeted straight out of the top 100... no surprise, but when was the last time an album made the top 5 and left the top 100 the next week? Michael Bublé's 'Christmas' dropped from #4 to out of the top 100 once for obvious reasons. I don't think it's ever happened from a first week! This would be the second time this year an album has dropped from the top 10 to out of the top 100 though following the 9-x chart run of The Cribs' 'For All My Sisters'. |

Mary Mary #63 an Jocelyn Brown #68. *_* Unfortunately they'll fall out in the coming days though but should chart on the sales chart.
Surprised at The Weeknd, was expecting him to be #1 with a decent lead. Will be interesting to see the sales for the top 2 albums. |

Oh good gosh that's possibly one of the biggest drops I've ever seen in the charts and it's only Tuesday lol.

Ha, the Top 3 albums already over 20k! In fact, as the Top 10 sales stand now, it would be decent sales for a full week.

Ella Eyre saleswise has far outperformed my expectations! I thought she'd do a maximum of 8-9k in week one and struggle for 20k as an overall total.

Those album sales are a wonderful surprise, i really did not think sales would be so impressive. The top 5 have at this early stage of the week exceeded all my expectations. That said, i would not purchase any of the top 5 albums which the exception of Ella Eyre which i will purchase at a later point

YES for Foals at #1. Really hope they can somehow hang onto it.
Usually love The Weeknd but this album is poor. Shame it'll easily be his biggest so far! |
