Chart Commentary

A big thank you to all those 12 of you who commented on my personal chart last week, including Jack Murs, TheSnake, 360Jupiter, Jason, AH Gold, danG, Ðøßßø, JSG, Nick F1, Jade, HarryEzra and toffonews.

My favourite song this week is the new single from Röyksopp. An uplifting, feel-good tune which epitomises the change of seasons as we begin Autumn 2016. A gave rising points for Jax Jones, Disciples and Zac Samuel as ones to watch out for in future weeks. Up and coming artist Dakota (of Jonas Blue fame) peaks at #6 this week with Long Hot Summer. Another new entry this week is the storming track from Felix Jaehn feat. Alma, one I feel I should have charted some weeks back but didn't, but it claims #11 on my chart. Capsize climbs an impressive 23 places this week to land just outside the Top 10. Elsewhere there are new entries from Bali Bandits, Danny L Harle feat. Carly Rae Jepsen and Calvin Harris.

It's an end to the chart run for Years & Years, Fifth Harmony feat. Fetty Wap, Kygo feat. Julia Michaels, Anne-Marie, Flo Rida and Dua Lipa.
