🔥🚀🔥 Joined: 30 August 2010 Posts: 74,511 User: 11,746	Whilst we're revisiting 00s dance in the chart forum, it's time we ranked the biggest dance hits of the 2000s. The top 15 best-selling dance songs of each year in the UK have been selected, simply rank them from +15 (favourite) to +01 (least favourite) and the top four of each group will be put into a grand final. The deadline will be set for next Saturday. 2004 There weren't too many massive dance hits in 2004 which means some smaller hits like 'Give It Away' and 'Mass Destruction' get to make it in the year-end list. We do have a few #1s though from the novelty ('Babycakes', 'Cha Cha Slide') to the house anthems ('Call On Me', 'Take Me To The Clouds Above'). Other big house hits include 'The Weekend', 'Flashdance' and 'Somebody To Love' whilst we still have a little bit of eurodance from 'Do You Know' and 'Come With Me'. 3 Of A Kind - Babycakes Angel City - Do You Know (I Go Crazy) Boogie Pimps - Somebody To Love Deep Dish - Flashdance Deepest Blue - Give It Away DJ Casper - Cha Cha Slide Eric Prydz - Call On Me Faithless - Mass Destruction George Michael - Flawless (Go To The City) LMC vs. U2 - Take Me To The Clouds Above Michael Gray - The Weekend Shapeshifters - Lola's Theme Special D - Come With Me Stonebridge feat. Therese - Put 'Em High (Great funky house tune) +11 -Angel City - Do You Know (I Go Crazy) (Like this vocal version of Robert Miles' Children) +10 - Deep Dish - Flashdance (this did very well at the time considering it has a less commercial sound to most of these) +9 - Special D - Come With Me (this is good but Basshunter did this genre a bit better imo with 'Now You're Gone') +8 - LMC vs. U2 - Take Me To The Clouds Above (good emotional dance ballad) +7 -George Michael - Flawless (Go To The City) (better than the original) +6 - Eric Prydz - Call On Me (well this started the mid 00s looped 80s remixes trend!) +5 -DJ Casper - Cha Cha Slide (good tune that still gets played a lot at parties and the like) +4 - Faithless - Mass Destruction (I like the vocal on this, wish it was more dancey though) +3 - 3 Of A Kind - Babycakes (decent tune) +2 - Michael Gray - The Weekend (I prefer Borderline by Michael Gray and Shelley Poole to this) +1 - Boogie Pimps - Somebody To Love (the later 80s remixes were better imo, the repeated 'don't you want want' is a bit annoying imo
