11 of Kylie;s singles have to date, peaked at number 2.

It could be argued many of her Number 2 hits are stronger and have more of a legacy than some of her Number 1 Hits.

From the 11 songs which do you like the least?

When I Believe In You, reached Number 2, i didn't expect it to be Kylie's last Top 2 Hit which was 13 years ago.

All The Lovers was the closet to becoming a Top 2 by reaching Number 3 in 2010.

Please Vote and Leave Your Comments

Remember you are voting for the song you like the LEAST

Give Me Just A Little More Time has my vote.
As a song i prefer it slightly to Confide In Me.
That said, Confide In Me is a more important song and has played a big part in Kylie's career and was extremely important for her career development.

Je Ne Sais Pas Pourquoi for me. I don't dislike it but it doesn't really do much for me either.

Looking at the list of #2s, Locomotion, Devil and Love at First Sight definitely feel like they should be #1s in regards to their status. I would say Confide in Me as it's a big and important song in her catalogue but I'm not so sure with the general public.

I Believe in You I think could have been a #1 if its physical release wasn't two weeks after the album release. I believe Locomotion was close to #1 on two of its 4 weeks as well.

Voted for 'Give Me Just A Little More Time'. I do like the song but from such a strong list of iconic Kylie classics, this kinda falls by the way-side along with 'Kids', neither of which I go back to that much. Still decent songs though and here's how I rank these =

01. Better the Devil You Know
02. Confide in Me
03. On A Night Like This
04. Love at First Sight
05. I Believe in You
06. Je Ne Sais Pas Pourquoi
07. Wouldn’t Change A Thing
08. Got to Be Certain
09. The Loco-Motion
10. Kids
11. Give Me Just a Little More Time

Kids is the one I listen to least, so by default it's my least favourite. After that it will get tricky...

I think the thing that prevented 'I Believe In You' was being against Band Aid 20, she was never gonna win against that.

I really do think 'All The Lovers' could have been a #1 though had they synchronised the download and the physical release. They really did properly drop the ball on that one.

Yeah, 'I Believe in You' debuted on Band Aid's second week at #1 and nothing would have seen her beat its near 300k sales. 'I Believe in You' sold 39k on its first week, which would have been enough to debut at #1 if it was released the same week as Ultimate Kylie (w/e 4 December; Girls Aloud topped the chart for a second week with 30k). 1 week before saw Girls Aloud debut with 58k and 2 weeks before U2 at #1 with 52k. The 39k it debuted with doesn't include downloads from four weeks prior - maybe if it had been available on physical earlier, its sales would have been high enough to reach #1.

Wouldn't be so sure on 'All the Lovers'. It sold 12,054 physicals when they were released on its third chart week - if you combine that with the 49,213 it sold on downloads in week 1, that would only have got it to #3 (Dizzee Rascal/James Cordon sold 84,145 at #1 and K'naan sold 76,330 at #2).

A shame about the timing in regards to I Believe in You physicals coming after Ultimate Kylie... that was an odd tactic (which was repeated by Girls Aloud Call the Shots & Spice Girls Headlines!)

Not sure why 'I Believe in You' was released two weeks after the album. Doing a bit of research and it seems like it was always the case for the album to be released first. A couple of days before the song was sent to radio on 14th October, it was revealed both the album and single had been pushed back, the intention to increase their chances to make #1. Doesn't say what the original release date for 'I Believe in You' was but it would be annoying if it cost Kylie from that easy #1 spot when Girls Aloud sold just 30k. I'm guessing Band Aid wasn't set in stone at this point.

Having a look back, 'Love at First Sight' was unlucky to be released the same week as Elvis' 'A Little Less Conversation' which sold 243k against Kylie's 80k (which would have been enough for #1 the previous week).

I meant maybe if they'd released the download the same week as the physical was released (the week it peaked at #3 officially), as I swear there was about 4,000 copies between the whole top 3 that week.

*edit - Actually, I got that wrong. She was 2,000ish behind #2 and a looooooooong way behind #1.

Really after Kids I have no idea what I’d vote for! I literally love all the other songs (Although GMJALMT is probably the next weakest). All deserved to be #1 IMO wub.gif
