Thought I would do this one week... seems like a really fun, ingenious idea! (thanks a lot Ultraviolence for coming up with this fabulous idea!)
================================================================================ Hello everybody! I'm Adam FitzHerbert and I will presenting the chart today. We faxed BBC inquiring about Scott Mills hosting this one-day stint but he condescendingly declined (probably because I couldn't pay anything), so I will be here in his place. We hope you are all ready for a great chart rundown today! (sry for stealing your colors Thermo in the opening, couldn't get any others to look right) Last week's top 5: 01 (21) Vanic x Machineheart = Circles (21-01) 02 (01) Urban Contact = Million Questions (03-04-05-01-02) 03 (03) Meghan Trainor = All About That Bass (09-16-15-11-03-03) 04 (20) Hudson Mohawke = Chimes (20-04) 05 (02) Mike Mago = Outlines ft. Dragonette (01-02-02-05) Contenders At #1 in the midweeks, we have country turned pop girl Taylor Swift with 'Shake It Off'. Could she hold on until Sunday or will another contender take the top spot? Up 26 spots to #4 in the midweeks, we have Ryn Weaver with 'OctaHate'. Will she be able to continue her ascent all the way to #1? A new entry at #6 in the midweeks is Charli XCX's new single 'Break The Rules'. Will she be able to climb her way to debut at #1, following Boom Clap's ascent a few months ago? And last week's #1, 'Circles', still stands a strong chance to take the #1 for a second week. We will reveal the winner before midnight GMT, so hold your horses for this exciting finale! =============================================================================== FULL CHART This post has been edited by M¤th: 25th August 2014, 01:49 AM |

Kiesza ¤ Giant In My Heart Chart Run: 30-x-29 (2 wks) Chart Sales: 60k+ 29 07 Sigma ¤ Changing ft. Paloma Faith Chart Run: 30-14-9-8-7-13-16-29 (8 wks) Chart Sales: 350k+ 28 28 Broiler ¤ Rays Of Light Chart Run: 28 (1 wk) Chart Sales: 30k+ Kicking off the set we have a re-entry from the new star Kiesza. I don't like the new track as much as 'Hideaway' but it's still infectiously fabulous. Next up we have the new single by Sigma and Paloma Faith. It's not as good as 'Nobody To Love' but with my crazily-fast-moving chart the longevity was insane. Terra Di Camponi's new BJSC entry was an unexpected hit with us after their previous entry 'The Lucky Ones' failed to impress. This sounds like Don't You Worry Child's little brother! |

Porter Robinson ¤ Divinity (ft. Amy Millan) Chart Run: 27 (1 wk) Chart Sales: 30k+ Previous chart peaks: 2014 10 Sea Of Voices (pre-BJ) 2014 01 Sad Machine (pre-BJ) 2014 04 Lionhearted ft. Urban Cone (pre-BJ) 2014 04 Flicker 2014 27 Divinity ft. Amy Millan 26 26 Nicki Minaj ¤ Anaconda Chart Run: 26 (1 wk) Chart Sales: 30k+ 25 07 Years & Years ¤ Real Chart Run: 07-12-25 (1 wk) Chart Sales: 150k+ I'm short on time so I'm gonna RUSH through these comments. 'Divinity' is AMAZING, trippy, and everything I could've wanted. 'Anaconda' is so fun and carefree but plz don't watch the video. I (thankfully) haven't and I never want to be subjected to it. 'Real' is INCREDIBLY CATCHY. |

3LAU ¤ How You Love Me ft. Bright Lights Chart Run: 24 (1 wk) Chart Sales: 35k+ 23 13 Hilary Duff ¤ All About You Chart Run: 13-23 (2 wks) Chart Sales: 65k+ 22 18 Christina Grimmie ¤ Must Be Love Chart Run: 25-18-22 (3 wks) Chart Sales: 80k+ 'How You Love Me' is a fabulously generic dance tune, Hilary's track is a great return to form, and Christina's song reminds me of why I like her so much! Zella Day ¤ East Of Eden Chart Run: 27-21 (2 wks) Chart Sales: 70k+ 20 06 Troye Sivan ¤ Happy Little Pill Chart Run: 22-06-11-20 (4 wks) Chart Sales: 170k+ 19 03 Jessie J, Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj ¤ Bang Bang Chart Run: 3-5-8-19 (4 wks) Chart Sales: 270k+ Zella is just insanely catchy and an earworm, Troye's song reminds me of a male Lana Del Rey and Jessie, Ari, and Nicki is just a star-studded collab that's almost as good as their sheer starpower combined. |

Here's to kicking off the Top 10! 10 10 Charli XCX ¤ Break The Rules Chart Run: 10 (1 wk) Chart Sales: 45k+ 09 01 Mike Mago ¤ Outlines ft. Dragonette Chart Run: 1-1-2-5-9 (5 wks) Chart Sales: 625k+ Dropping four spots from the midweek stage which I made up specifically for my blurbs is 'Break The Rules'.
