Haven’t got a foreign language entry but I’m thinking of sending something really interesting and pretty different that will most likely flop very badly but it’s so amazing

I'll tell you where I heard that song before - Spanish radio
I actually have a Spanish bop, but when I showed Lee it back in t day (before the new rules btw) and asked what he thought, he said it would flop in BJSC, but that was BEFORE the Latin trend. I am sending more pop this teem however, maybe trance. |

Confirmations begin Sunday!
The ÁSC has today confirmed that confirmations for BJSC CII will begin Sunday evening. Delegates will be invited to Broadheath Mannor in the heart of the ancient City of Morpeth Cove to submit their paperwork to the ÁSC in person. |

BJSC is just strange at the moment
Ashton wins with a song which is pretty also-ran on Spanish radio and blends with the rest, nothin special, not bad but not exactly a winning sound, but flops with Pinnacle, one of the best songs sent over the last year?? Y'all need to listen to Spanish radio if you think it's special. Ashton deserves this victory after Pinnacle flopped ... but it shoulda been Pinnacle winnin in the first place. |

ashton could've won with either pinnacle or the DIVINE wearing nothing and i would've been happy (the latter 150% should've won)

'Sofia' was Ashton's best entry for nearly six years for me so x
('Pinnacle' was the second best in that timeframe) |

Sofia was never my thing even when it was a big hit in some EU parts but I won't deny the catchiness and the crossover appeal it has...hence why it won.
Bambola in the other hand is made for slaying best of contest ala BonBon...mark my words. |

It’s worth keeping in mind Michael that while Sofia is old hat in Spain, it never made it to the UK so this is fresh and brand new to a lot of people. Would I have preferred a Pinnacle win? 110%. It’s Tone it would have been quite fitting and special to finally win with her alas it was not to be. Wearing Nothing was straight up robbed but Backbeat couldn’t even make the top 30 so at least Dagny finally got a top 10 hit to her name. Am I glad Sofia won? 120%! It’s a f***ing great track that took over Wearing Nothing as the song I was most obsessed with. It’s catchy, it’s charming and I love it. The win genuinely took me by complete surprise but I’m so happy that this is what I got to win with.

not sure whether to go for a burial-esque IDM stunner which will 99% break my Q streak or a dance banger giving off early 00s urban vibez - i wanted to find something foreign language but the last time i loved a foreign language song i found on my own i sent it to UP
