We have now become undecided with whether allowing songs that weren't made specifically for a movie as Lotti thinks we should allow, Regina thinks we shouldn't and I'm changing my mind every 10 minutes.

Poll closes tomorrow, whatever is winning will decide the fate of the songs underneath:
02. Blue Swede - Hooked On A Feeling [Guardians Of the Galaxy]**
06. David Bowie - Heroes [Perks Of Being A Wallflower]**
12. Hall & Oats - You Make My Dreams [(500) Days Of Summer]**
15. Jackson 5 - I Want You Back [Guardians Of the Galaxy]**
21. Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell - Ain't No Mountain High Enough [Guardians Of the Galaxy]**
27. The Runaways - Cherry Bomb [Guardians Of the Galaxy]**
28. TLC - Waterfalls (Rap Version) [We're The Millers]**
Stevie wonder- my cherie amore (silver lineing's playbook)
Pixie Lott- Broken Arrow (Beastly)
Britney Spears- Everytime (Spring Breakers)

Yeah. I think if it's used in the film well and actually serves a purpose/a means to the story, they should be included. Both 'A Thousand Miles' (which for some reason isn't noted in the list above) and 'Everytime' for example are used in pretty big/memorable parts of their films so are more than worthy of being nomimated. The only ones I'm iffy about are those just added to soundtracks in order to sell the OST albums. (Pretty much all of the Hunger Games ones lol - but then again a lot of those songs were just for the soubdtrack and not released any other way)
