Didn't realise this didn't have a topic but it kicked off last with 1.3million viewers, pretty much tripling the viewing figures for the first episode of Series 1!

A great mix of characters that already look like they could cause major drama. Who else in here is watching?

My favourite show from last year, so glad it's back 😍

Absolutely loving it already. My initial favourites are Amber, Kem, Jess, Camilla and Olivia. Camilla reminds me of a hotter Lucie Silvas 😅 Love that Marcel and Blazin Squad is basically the new Zara and Miss GB haha. Scary that some of the islanders are too young to remember Blazin Squad though 👀

Jonny hasn't even entered yet so you haven't even missed out on him if you wanna get into it!

My main crush this year is Dom, not initially my type and definitely no Alex (but who is?!) but the accent brought me right on board. Fully hoping he sacks Montana off aswell, for maximum drama. She's definitely this years Kady in the whining department but I'm hoping she doesn't get her way.

Two of the blonde girls look exactly the same, Camilla seems the only one who would be 'wife material', Jess is probably the most attractive although I don't think I could hack being with any of them

I thought I'd really like Harley, he seemed sweet to begin with but now he seems really pushy and confused at the idea of someone not wanting to get to know him. I'd like to see Jonny stick around for a bit longer, could see his personality working well with Camilla if they got to know one another a bit better.

Don't get why nobody is hitting Marcel up, I think he's hot!

I find Kem really funny but I don't see it looks wise, it's like Stacey Solomon in a wig to me.

Chris is the least good looking for me though, I absolutely do not understand his appeal at all, bar a good body which they've all got.

After liking Montana at first I went off her a bit but I'm liking her a lot more now, glad she stood up for herself. Liv came off horrendously from that – her and Chris deserve each other I think :')

Camilla and Jonny YES (even if it should be me and Jonny 😒)

Loving Jess too, she's great. And by far the best looking of the girls.

Sad to see how people have seemingly gone off Camilla after tonight's show.

In my mind there was no way Jonny was in the right, yet there are so many 'oh god, she's a feminist, stop that bollocks right now' comments on twitter, which angers me so much. He's got such outdated and ignorant views on the situation yet most viewers seem to side with him 🙃🙃🙃

Few people I was talking to while tonight's show was on sided with Johnny too (a boy and a girl for disclosure). I admire Camilla for not compromising herself and she cried I think because she fell into the trap of liking someone before getting to know them.. if anybody's experienced this it makes you feel so frustrated and mugging yourself off.

How come nobody's going for Tyne-Lexy? She's the one that's really my type looks-wise.

I think it'll be billed as Chris vs. Mike as who will pick Olivia first. I don't actually think Mike will bother with Olivia though and will go with Tyne-Lexy instead as the safe option until another girl enters the villa

My guess is:
Chris: Olivia
Mike: Tyne-Lexy
Marcel: Gabby
Kem: Amber
Dom: Jess
Sam: Montana
Jonny: Chloe

That would mean Camilla leaving unfortunately

I'm very much Team Mike on this. I don't exactly see how he is "muggy" for picking the only girl he feels he has a connection with

Happy Camilla stayed, but also sad for Tyne-Lexy. Easily the best looking girl in the house and I think she deserved a lot more attention than Olivia for example.

Caroline is heading to the villa now too, so I think we could see a surprise elimination. Maybe a bit like Malin last year where the public votes for their least favourite boy/girl

This has been great.
I couldn't tell Olivia apart from Chloe until the last few episodes. Now I don't know why. Olivia is stunning - but she has a horrible personality.
Chloe is a real shit disturber, and I love it.
Feel bad for Chris. He's probably my favorite one in there, but is in real danger.
Sorry. I can't stand Camilla. She's boring AF. Johnny can leave as well.

Sam's really starting to catch my eye recently. I've gone off Kem a bit. Dom just doesn't do it for me at all.

Couple rate:

Nathan & Amber: Laughable

Kem & Chyna: Poor Chyna. As much as I do think Amber is bad news, I do think her and Kem suit each other well, so I'm not totally against them being back together

Alex & Montana: Love! My favourite couple as it stands. Happy to see Montana finally find someone she likes

Jonny & Danielle: Still stand by my comments that Jonny is the biggest game player in the house and never liked Camilla at all. He just knew she was popular and thought it would get him far in the show. Can't wait until he leaves the show and realises just how much he is hated. Danielle will probably try crack on with Nathan now just to stay in for longer.

Marcel & Gabby: I just get the vibe that Gabby is being insincere. Bad vibes from her. They will probably still go on to win

Alex & Olivia: I never thought I would say this, but they are actually growing on me now. Fully expect them to make the final now after having the public generally dislike them both for the first week or so.

Craig & Camilla: Craig another one jumping on the Camilla bandwagon. He's clearly seen that she is popular on the outside and thought that would be his ticket to winning the whole show.

Tyla: Meh

Seems like we'll lose 1 boy and 1 girl tonight. My guess is the house will vote again to eliminate one girl and one boy from those with the fewest boys. Craig, Nathan and Jonny I would say are most at risk from the boys and Danielle, Tyla and Chyna from the girls.

Really surprised at the lack of people talking about this on here, it's been absolutely huge this year!
It's still all about Montana / Amber / Kem for me, but I'm loving Chris now too after not liking him at all at first. Love his and Liv's relationship, haha.

In the latest vote, surely the bottom three will be Tyla, Jonny and Theo? Hopefully none of the others anyway!

I'm loving this series SO much. So addictive, especially in the last few weeks or so. Montana & Camilla are definitely my faves. Cannot stand Olivia or Jonny right now, so annoying!

I'm worried that it might be Alex going tonight I hope not for Montana's sake, I don't really care about him too much as an individual!

I think quite a lot of people dislike her but i thought loads of people would like her too, so I'm surprised she was in the bottom 4, especially when Theo wasn't?! He was great tonight though, the ending with Tyla was priceless. She's awful.

I was weirdly starting to warm to Jonny in that last episode. I would have preferred it if Tyla went instead or both of them to be honest. As Theo said "If Tyla really liked Jonny she would leave with him" . Love the way he's winding the whole villa up.

Pretty sure it will be Mike and Sam going back in judging by twitter reaction. So excited for Mike . I thought it was a bit harsh how he was booted out the first time around for pretty much being the new guy. Excited to see how they all react too. Sam is a bit meh as I think he had his time, but I do recall him mentioning that there was something brewing between him and Tyla just before he left, so that could be interesting.

Can we also talk about Marcel and Gabby? I think people are starting to see a different side to them, which will hopefully open up the competition a bit more. Gabby in particular, I've always felt wasn't being completely genuine, which was confirmed slightly with her texts about Montana and Alex.

Yeah, I'm not sure about Marcel and Gabby now either, they're a bit dull now.
For most of the couples, one of them is way more popular than the other (Montana, Kem, Chris) so it's hard to know how it'll go. I'd love a Kem and Amber win but I think it could be any of them really (apart from Tyla/Mike and Georgia/Sam).

Really not getting the Montana hate either - she is just an honest and upfront person. Gabby IS being fake imo and playing the victim oh so well. I don't like her at all.

As much as I like Chris, I don't get why people are voting for him and Olivia. Olivia is an absolutely disgusting excuse of a person - she reminds me of Helen Wood from Big Brother. She has no redeeming features whatsoever and she shouldn't be allowed to think her behaviour is acceptable. Shame her and Chris will probably win I think .

So agree with this! Montana was one of my favourites from the start and I really liked Alex. A bad episode or two and all of a sudden the public seemed to turn on them. I don't think they particularly did anything wrong either. They called out Gabby for example, which is what most of the public were thinking anyway.

Sad to see them both leave. I would have much rather had Gabby and Marcel leave.

I still really want Gabby & Marcel to win but I guess that ship has truly sailed with regards to them possibly winning. So, if they can't, I want it to be Kem & Amber. Not keen on the other two couples - I really like Chris now despite hating him weeks ago but Olivia is vile and I've found Camilla fake for weeks and I haven't really warmed to Jamie particularly.

The ITV or Love Island boss (idk which one) said Love Island will remain on ITV2 and that there are enough 'gay people on TV' without Love Island having to have them as well.

I just powered through the last 20ish episodes. It was a great season, but I was too busy to watch in real time.
The last 5 couples were really great. Infact, most of the people cast on this show were good to watch as well. Remove the 'Love' and 'Island' element and put them on Big Brother and it's already better than 80% of the people they cast.

Montana/Alex I didn't care for actually. I liked Montana a lot, but... Alex was boring AF.
Something was always off a bit with Gabby, wasn't it? It was like she was always trying to sell herself and her relationship with Marcel. I think she may have cost him the win. I don't know how big Blazing Squad was tho
I WAS SHOCKED CHRIS/OLIVIA DIDN'T WIN. They owned this series. Let's be honest... they're absolutely HORRIBLE together. But as individuals I liked them most (mostly Chloe's bust ups earlier in the season & Chris is just a dream).
I was never a fan of Camilla and Jamie, much like Alex, was very boring. I was shocked they came 2nd and even reading this thread, favorites to win.
I always loved Kem/Amber. Kem was my favorite boy throughout. I can't believe the prize at the end was only $50K tho and they had to split it.

Okay, turns out it was a promotion of Mental Health Day which Chris is fronting as someone who has suffered from anxiety, it was all metaphorically relating to bottling up your emotions.
