Afternoon, Jackers of Buzz. I'm hoping Kate Bush has somehow managed to break into the top 40, although it's probably not very likely.

2009

4- READY FOR THE WEEKEND- Calvin Harris (29,410)
10- THAT GOLDEN RULE- Biffy Clyro (19,350) (an ACTUAL rock song in the top 10? What a novelty).

2004

4- SHE WILL BE LOVED- Maroon 5 (26,759)

1999

1- MAMBO NO 5- Lou Bega (224,000)
5- BETTER OFF ALONE- DJ Jurgon Presents Alice Deejay (56,000)*

I'm not sure how you could figure that one is any more a novelty than the other, really, although I suppose with hindsight 'Sway' might be slightly better.
