Darkoo and Hardy Caprio
Juicy

Non-album single
Released: 6th March 2020
Label: Virgin EMI Records

Video

Biography

Darkoo
South London based, Nigerian born female singer/songwriter (equally sensational rapper) Darkoo released her debut single ”Gas Station” towards the end of 2017 at the tender age of 16. Her charismatic voices and sweet vocals is the main reason why Darkoo is more than an up and coming artist. SHE IS THE REAL DEAL. Soon after releasing Gas Station, Darkoo, joined forces with the highly favoured East London Rapper Mulla Stackz (still at the tender age of 16) to grace us with the Summer 2018 classic “Timeline’.

Darkoo musical journey began when she was 15, her first release was as a rapper due to her being influences by both UK and Nigerian based artist. Such as “DIS” (who was popularly known for her single ‘Cheeky’). As well as the other standing Afro beat artist such as Wizkid and Maleek Berry. Through her dedication and love of music Darkoo’s found her unique and charismatic voice and vibrant vocals bloomed once she began to sing. The depth of her vocals even surprised her and she hasn’t looked back since mixing her outstanding harmonies to create catchy hooks (that one can vibe to for days).
- Spotify

Hardy Caprio
Croydon rapper Hardy Caprio gained early recognition for his work when he was nominated for the Get Rated award at its inaugural ceremony (its aim is to celebrate new talent). Caprio grew up in Croydon, South London, as did grime star Stormzy, but he went to school in Bromley, a more well-off area of South London. His dual existence showed him that the drama he experienced in Croydon could be avoided. He began putting out his own music, which resulted in the EPs Hardy Season and The Hollywood EP. In 2017, he released the single "Unsigned," which garnered over two million views on YouTube. - iTunes

Katy Perry
Never Worn White

Promotional single
Released: 5th March 2020
Label: Capitol Records

Video

Biography

Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson (born October 25, 1984), known professionally as Katy Perry, is an American singer, songwriter and television personality. After singing in church during her childhood, she pursued a career in gospel music as a teenager. Perry signed with Red Hill Records and released her debut studio album Katy Hudson under her birth name in 2001, which was commercially unsuccessful. She moved to Los Angeles the following year to venture into secular music after Red Hill ceased operations and she subsequently began working with producers Glen Ballard, Dr. Luke, and Max Martin. After adopting the stage name Katy Perry and being dropped by The Island Def Jam Music Group and Columbia Records, she signed a recording contract with Capitol Records in April 2007.

Perry rose to fame in 2008 with her second album, One of the Boys, a pop rock record containing the singles "I Kissed a Girl" and "Hot n Cold". The former track also sparked controversy for its themes of lesbianism. Her third album, Teenage Dream (2010), ventured into disco, and was her first record to top the U.S. Billboard 200. It peaked at number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 with the singles "California Gurls", "Teenage Dream", "Firework", "E.T.", and "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)", while "The One That Got Away" reached number three on the chart. The album became the first by a female artist to produce five number one songs in the U.S., and the second overall after Michael Jackson's album Bad. In 2012, Perry re-issued the album as Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection, which produced the songs "Part of Me" and "Wide Awake". Her next record was Prism (2013), which became her second to top the U.S. charts. It is influenced by pop and dance, and she became the first artist with multiple videos to reach one billion views on Vevo with the videos for its songs "Roar" and "Dark Horse". She followed this with 2017's Witness, which delved into electropop and became her third album to chart at number one in the U.S. "Chained to the Rhythm" was the album's most successful single, breaking Spotify's record at the time for most first-day streams for a song by a female artist.

Perry has received various awards, including four Guinness World Records, five American Music Awards, a Brit Award, and a Juno Award. She has been included in the annual Forbes lists of highest-earning women in music from 2011–2018. Her estimated net worth as of 2016 is $125 million. She is one of the best-selling music artists of all time, having sold more than 18 million albums and 125 million singles globally throughout her career. In film, she released an autobiographical documentary titled Katy Perry: Part of Me in 2012, and voiced Smurfette in the 2011 film The Smurfs and its sequel in 2013. Perry also began serving as a judge on American Idol in 2018.

wow was close for Don't Give Up, only 1K lead
was just listening to the song, and it's a great track, was pretty surprising to have Bryan Adams on a dance song
a very good top 5 in 2000, especially Don't Give Up and Sitting Down Here, you gotta love Bene Marlin
Ame4rican Pie and Pure Shores were great too

Biography

BENEE's introspective lyrics and smoky, stylized soul singing first hit the charts in her native New Zealand with her second single, 2018's "Soaked." Combining the sophisticated R&B of artists like Sade and Corinne Bailey Rae and contemporary, atmospheric electronics, her first EP, Fire on Marzz, followed in 2019.

After sharing some cover songs online, Stella Bennett started using the abbreviated alias Bene for original material during her final year of high school. She released the single "Touch Guy" in 2017, then began collaborating with Josh Fountain and Jason Suskov on writing and recording material for her first EP after graduation. Her second single and first to feature the gentle, funk-infused sound she would become known for, "Soaked" reached number 14 on the singles chart in her home country. After tweaking her name to BENEE, Republic Records reissued the song, which was included on her debut EP, 2019's Fire on Marzz. The EP was also a hit, peaking at 13 on New Zealand's album chart.

Biography

Khalid
In 2016, Khalid Robinson was voted Most Likely to Go Platinum by his high school class. About a year later, he proved them right. A military kid, Robinson split his childhood between Georgia, Kentucky, upstate New York, and Heidelberg, Germany, eventually settling in El Paso, Texas—a pattern of dislocation that often made him feel like an outsider. Self-described as “an awkward teen,” he picked up songwriting primarily to stave off loneliness, sharing music through SoundCloud and quickly catching the ears of both his peers and the industry. (His breakout single, 2016’s “Location,” was recorded during spring break of his senior year; a few weeks after it came out, he won Prom King; within a couple of years, the song had sold more than five million copies in the U.S. alone.) In 2017, he released American Teen, a celebratory but bittersweet mix of synth-pop and neon-lit R&B that garnered five Grammy nominations—proof that you’re rarely an outsider alone. In between, Robinson featured on high-profile collaborations with Logic (“1-800-273-8255”), Calvin Harris (“Rollin”), and Normani (“Love Lies”), among others. An EP, Suncity, arrived in late 2018, opening with audio of Khalid being given keys to the city of El Paso—not bad for a kid who’d moved there only a few years before. He followed that up with 2019’s soulful, creatively unbounded Free Spirit, on which he charted new emotional terrain with a strong focus on his well-being. Reflecting on his evolution from spectator to artist for Apple Music’s Up Next series, Robinson said, “I would sit in this apartment, I would look at the mountain behind me, I would watch all the lightning, and I would listen to music. I was like, ‘You know what? I need something to help me a little bit more.’” So he took it on himself and started to write. - iTunes

Disclosure
Disclosure is an English electronic music duo consisting of brothers Howard (born 11 May 1994) and Guy Lawrence (born 25 May 1991). They grew up in Reigate, Surrey. Their debut studio album, Settle, released on 3 June 2013, by PMR Records, was nominated for Best Dance/Electronica Album at the 2014 Grammy Awards. They released a second studio album, Caracal, on 25 September 2015 which was also nominated for Best Dance/Electronica Album at the 2016 Grammy Awards. - Wikipedia

Biography

Symere Woods (born July 31, 1994), known professionally as Lil Uzi Vert, is an American rapper, singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Lil Uzi gained initial recognition following the release of the commercial mixtape Luv Is Rage (2015), which led to a recording contract with Atlantic Records, to whom he signed to under DJ Drama's Generation Now imprint. He then attracted mainstream attention following the release of his debut single "Money Longer" in 2016, which peaked at number 54 on the Billboard Hot 100, and later became certified double platinum.

The song would act as the lead single for the subsequent mixtape Lil Uzi Vert vs. the World (2016); the project debuted at number 37 on the Billboard 200, and also contained the song "You Was Right", which charted at number 40 on the Hot 100. After releasing two additional mixtapes in 2016 and 2017, including one in collaboration with Gucci Mane, Lil Uzi was featured on the chart-topping Migos' single "Bad and Boujee", and later secured his first top ten single with "XO Tour Llif3", which peaked at number 7. "XO Tour Llif3" acted as the lead single to Lil Uzi Vert's debut studio album Luv Is Rage 2 (2017), which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, and was certified platinum. The album also contained the singles "The Way Life Goes" and "Sauce It Up". Lil Uzi's second studio album, Eternal Atake, released on March 6, 2020, a week earlier than expected.
