 I'm in two minds about 'Loud' officially being her highest seller. Obviously it's a huge achievement to have two albums over/close to 2 million sales but it is well-documented that she isn't really here for it any more. In an ideal work, 'Anti' would be well over 2 million but that messy release strategy (and her being branded a flop by the media) didn't help sales

I have also edited the features/non album singles post so that the format is the same as the album-specific posts. I feel like "Selfish" (Future/Rih) could be close to Silver, since it has 190M streams on Spotify.  Sex With Me & Desperado could get there eventually too, since they both have around 120M streams on Spotify. |

I didn't even realise it'd sold over a million!
I'm not paying enough attention, clearly.  I'd say most of her other multi-platinum singles seem worthy of having achieved that status, although 'Too Good' sticks out for me as being undeserving of being within her Top 8 best sellers. I'll always find it crazy that out of all of her singles, it was that which provided her with her lengthiest run inside the UK Top 10 (16 weeks).

"The Monster" has been certified 2x Platinum - Rihanna's eighth single to achieve double platinum status!
 Its last total was 1,080,000 exactly a year ago so it is averaging 120,000 sales per year.

We have a new sales update for "Princess of China"! It's now on 798,000 and selling roughly 3,600 copies per month, so could become a million seller within the next 4-5 years

Some new info: Good Girl Gone Bad recently passed 2 million sales in the UK, it's now on 2,001,956 as on 8th March. ANTI had sold 272,632 as of 1st March. Good Girl Gone Bad has now spent 303 weeks in the UK Top 200, ANTI has managed 129 weeks. I'll get the chart positions together soon! |
