European dates are 'Kylie Presents Golden', rather than the Golden tour that the UK and Ireland are getting.
They are scaled down Kylie and band type shows.

Also, Danish date is to be added shortly

I am under the impression that the tour will be much smaller-scaled than her previous tour...

UK/Ireland Golden Tour - same scale as usual Kylie shows
European Kylie Presents Golden - smaller theatre styled shows. Scaled down version

Aussie dates will be Golden Tour

Maybe he means the number of dates? It does seem a little less than she usually does.

I saw Kylie at the Zenith in Paris for the KMO tour and it was sold out, when I saw the venue this time I assumed it would be a lot smaller but it’s actually not (Zenith 6,293 capacity, La Seine 6,000 capacity). Looking at the list the venues in Europe are of a similar size to what she normally does but she’s chosen some places that will make the shows feel more intimate.

Kylie played AccorHotels Arena during the Kiss Me Once Tour and it was indeed almost sold out, that's why they wanted to film the DVD there but the costs were too high to film and they went for the Glasgow date

Crazy to think the tour is starting in less than a month! ohmy.gif It felt so far away when I booked tickets and now it's nearly here! (I'm going to the Manchester date so it's a bit more than a month for me, but still, hype!).

Wonder when we'll start getting teasers of a set list.

The recent clips on Kylie's Twitter appear to be snippets of an interlude for the tour: https://twitter.com/kylieminogue/status/1038894818473046016

Two halves with an intermission, intriguing! ohmy.gif

Can't believe it's only 18 days until my date, very much hope it'll be as big as some of her best tours. As much as I enjoyed the Kiss Me Once tour, it wasn't quite the same 'spectacle' that a Kylie tour normally is, in the vein of say, Fever, Showgirl or Aphrodite.

I don't think it will be quite the spectacle of something like Aphrodite Les Folies, just because of the feel of the era and the sound of the album etc. Kylie's said something on the lines of she wanted the intimacy and warmth of the promo gigs but in a way that is adaptable to an arena. I think if anything seems smaller in production, it will be done authentically and you won't be left want something more. I can see there being a big band whose performances will magnify everything, like when the band at Hyde Park broke into 'The Chain' by Fleetwood Mac.

Confirmed that there will be no support act: https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/whats-on/mu...inogue-15137618

Yeah, I'm definitely not expecting anything like Aphrodite, but of all her tours since Fever onwards, they've all felt like a big production. Granted, X2008 was more stripped back than Showgirl with a more basic staging etc, but it still very much felt 'big'. Kiss Me Once just lacked that in some ways I feel.

Golden definitely does feel like something intimate, so hopefully it all translates well in an arena setting, which I'm sure it will. The lack of a support act is good news too (assuming the showtime is longer than your average concert like she says) *.*

She’ll be on at 8pm until 9pm, then there’ll be a 20 minute interval, before she’s back on from 9:20pm until 10:30pm ohmy.gif 😍

Fantastic! ohmy.gif Potentially one of her longest shows to date then?

My only irk with that is the amount of people that will undoubtedly leave for the toilet/food/drinks during the interval and return 10 minutes into the second half. kink.gif

My ticket came today, eek! Mine says doors open at 6pm so I assume she'll be starting early than 8pm for my date (Manchester)?
