Radiohead are celebrating the album's 20th birthday (ugh so old) by remastering and rereleasing the album across various formats, namely:

SUPER DELUXEY BOX SET THING

Three 180gram black 12” vinyl containing 23 tracks: OK Computer, 3 previously unreleased studio tracks and 8 B-sides, all newly remastered. The vinyl is housed in a hardcover book along with 40 pages of artwork and lyrics.

104 page notebook and a further 48 page sketchbook of artwork and notes.

A C90 cassette mix tape compiled by the band, taken from OK Computer session archives and demo tapes.

A 320k MP3, 16-bit WAV or 24-bit WAV download of the 23 tracks will be available on 23rd June.

CD, VINYL or DIGITAL

Containing 23 tracks: OK Computer, 3 unreleased tracks and 8 B-sides, all newly remastered.

I think this is my most listened to album ever, I hammered it so often in 1997 and 1998 that I have needed to buy it THREE times due to wear and tear. So I have totally succumbed to my memories and ordered the box set thing but I do also think the vinyl edition looks lovely too should anyone fancy it.

In addition to the release of the remastered version, I'm intrigued to know how many others love the album on here? Particularly intrigued as to whether any of our younger members like it or not, it's always so difficult to imagine how well an album translates to a different generation as often the memories of release help to colour your attachment to it.

GOT IT?

OK?

Sounds really ambitious!

This album... For whatever reason it's one that I don't tend to want to listen to as much as a lot of their other ones (I'd say mainly Kid A, Amnesiac and In Rainbows), and I've sometimes had to remind myself how certain tracks go, but I do really like it, there's a certain "fuzzy" sound throughout it that I really enjoy in rock. Some great b-sides from that era as well (included in this project), particularly 'Melatonin' (those strings wub.gif) and 'Meeting in the Aisle'.

'Let Down' used to give me all the feels.

Kid A is probably my favourite of theirs and definitely a hybrid of Kid A and Amnesiac would be perfect. OK Computer was definitely the point I became obsessed with them though as it just sounded so ambitious at the time, the snag now is that Kid A pushed those boundaries so much further that it sort of superseded it for me.

OK was my favourite album ever ever ever ever ever though for so long though so I'm really interested to see if this can reignite my love for it.

Looking forward to this. But I'm bummed to find out that the indies exclusive blue vinyl has sold out a month before its release date (Should've pre-ordered it)

It's certainly my favourite Radiohead album. So many fine songs on there.
