Welcome to Round 3 of Least Fave Disney Animated Classics, and like the last round we lose another 5 movies, which includes the last 2 remaining of the package films and 3 from the early 2000's that failed to make an impression.

"The Three Caballeros" nab the highest amount of votes with 14, while not far behind "The Adventures Of Ichabod and Mr Toad" managed 10 votes, which is kinda a shame, as that one is pretty decent and definitely the best out of the package era. Then there's the dire "Home On The Range" with 9 votes which would be their last animated feature for 5 years before going computer animated, and this pretty much killed off the hand drawn era of movies. Then finally with joint 8 votes are the sequel to "Fantasia", titled "Fantasia 2000" which was kinda pointless and "Chicken Little" which continued their struggle during the 00's.

As for the other results, not far behind was "The Adventures Of Winnie The Pooh" which gained 7 votes, one hell of an increase since it only managed 1 in the first round. Also "Meet The Robinsons" manages to just about survive another round with 6 votes, which could mean that it's time could be up for this round. "Fantasia" manages 4 votes, and 3 movies each manage 3 votes.

49th The Three Cabarellos = 14 Votes

At #49 is another forgettable Disney package film and not surprising that this had the highest votes, it was kinda a miracle that this lasted until round 2. There are some impressive things about it though, the animation is really good for a movie that came out in the 1940's and it blends in really well with the live action. But it basically suffers the same fate as the other package films does and that is a lack of passion for the project and it doesn't really hold up well to call it a full length feature and in all you just feel empty afterwards.

48th The Adventures Of Ichabod and Mr Toad = 10 Votes

At #48 we say goodbye to the last of the package films to feature here and funnily enough this was also the last of those type of movies to come out before Disney went back to making proper full length features. Now honestly this one is actually a really solid effort that is highly underrated, but probably gained a lot of votes due to it being unknown. This one features just 2 stories, both of which are very different and both really good with some excellent animation for it's time and impressive characters. The first story is a classic retelling of "The Wind In The Willows" which moves at a swift pace and the 2nd story is "The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow" which tells the tale of the headless horseman and has really tense and exciting moments, and it was this that inspired Tim Burton to adapt his own version of "Sleepy Hollow".

47th Home On The Range = 9 Votes

At #47 we have "Home On The Range" with 9 votes more than double the amount from the last round. Like I said before this is the movie that pretty much killed off the hand drawn era of animated features and can see why, it seemed at this point the days of their boom during the 89-99 years, were long gone and intelligent story telling and interesting characters were a thing of the past. This tells the story of 3 cows trying to save their farm from a villain that yoldles. Despite featuring an allstar voice cast with Roseanne Barr, Judi Dench, Jennifer Tilley and Cuba Gooding Jnr, nothing could save this mess, while the only thing decent about it was the animation, everything else was just terrible and what the hell was Judi Dench doing in this, such a fantastic actress slumming it for a paycheck. This was clearly aimed at children under 5, but features slightly adult jokes, just dire and it seemed at this point Disney had lost their magic and were behind with the times, as companies like DreamWorks and Pixar were slaying the competition with their massive computer animated hits.

=46th Fantasia 2000 = 8 Votes

At #46 is "Fantasia 2000", which is the sequel to the original Fantasia which came out in 1940, so that's 59 years as this was released in 1999. This to be honest seemed rather pointless and wasn't needed as the original was more of an acquired taste that doesn't please everybody, so why did they try to recreate the magic again and while this isn't bad, in fact it's rather decent, but it's bogged down by pointless celebrity introductions. I just think that a movie like "Fantastia" is a once in a lifetime kinda thing and shouldn't be followed up. While this does feature some beautiful seqments and amazing animation and plus bringing back Mickey Mouse as the sorcerer's apprentice was kinda fun though.

=46th Chicken Little = 8 Votes

In joint 46th place is "Chicken Little" and again serves to no surprise that this got voted out early as it's another weak Disney effort, while it did fair a lot better at the box office than "HOTR" did, and it does mark their first fully computer animated movie. This still didn't make it a good movie, the whole thing was just mean spirited through and through and the story itself was basically a War Of The Worlds rip off that ends on an incredibly weak climax, so many useless jokes are thrown at the wall to see which sticks and nothing does, even the computer animation felt behind with the times, considering this was 2005 and movies like "Finding Nemo" and "Toy Story 1&2" had amazing animation, this just lacks in everyway.

So now then guys we are down to 44 Disney Classics and for this round I'm allowing you to vote for up to 4 movies, and the 4 with the highest amount of votes will be out by the next round.

Results So Far
=46th Chicken Little = 8/8.60%
=46th Fantasia 2000 = 8/8.60%
47th Home On The Range = 9/9.68%
48th The Adventures Of Winnie The Pooh = 10/10.75%
49th The Three Caberllos = 14/15.05%
50th Dinosaur = 8/6.96%
=53rd Fun & Fancy Free = 10/8.70%
=53rd Make Mine Music = 10/8.70%
=53rd Saludos Amigos = 10/8.70%
54th Melody Time = 11/9.57%

Another mostly good elimination, apart from Chicken Little (although that isn't too big a loss) and Famtasia 2000 could've done with staying a little longer really. At least the original is still in the fight.

The two Rescuer films and basil.gif are next.

Ichabod/Mr Toad is brilliant though but perhaps only because I watched it a lot when I was little.

That last round din't go well for me at all sad.gif
Adore Home On The Range and really like Chicken Little, find both of them so fun! The Three Cabarellos is also so underrated and a fantastic film and I love Fantasia 2000 as well heart.gif

Woah, Fantasia 2000 does not deserve to be amongst that lot ohmy.gif Not as good as the first one granted, but still very good/influential in terms of their back catalogue I'd say. What's with the Winnie The Pooh hate as well? sad.gif

Going with The Rescuers Down Under, Robin Hood & Atlantis (still here?).

After loving it as a child, I rewatched Winnie the Pooh on Netflix recently and tbf it was excruciating.

Looks like a close race between The Rescuers, The Black Cauldron, Basil - The Great Mouse Detective, Oliver & Company & Atlantis so far, but all that could change

Aladdin??? ohmy.gif I can't even. What??

Also sad to see mention of Robin Hood already. That is such a fantastic movie.

EDIT: Are people accidentally voting for their favourites? 2 votes for Sword in the Stone and Aladdin? Also, Wreck It Ralph? No, no, no people sad.gif
