As we celebrate Madonna's 60th birthday, let's show appreciation for the art behind the music. Simply post your Favourite Artwork - single or album or anything. Feel free to share more about why it's your favourite or drop a cheeky 2nd and 3rd place in too. Debate, discuss, share the love and CELEBRATE. 1. Favourite Album 2. Favourite Music Video 3. True Blue is easily one of the most striking and instantly recognisable images of Madonna. It's confident and it's sexy, yet there's something very peaceful and liberating about the pose. It seems to encapture all the qualities of Madonna and comes to no surprise that it's recognised as the best Madonna artwork.
My personal favourites would have to be the Ray of Light photoshoots. This was the first Madonna look I can remember, with the Ray of Light video being my favourite of hers growing up, so holds a special place in my heart already. These photos capture a Madonna I love: giggling and smiling and fooling around. Her hair is absolutely gorgeous and she's so free, youthful and content. |

My first thought was the True Blue album cover too.
I like the sleeve to Angel as well, but the picture I googled was this : I had ^^ that poster. It was my first ever poster. It was before I'd ever seen a teen magazine, so it either came in a newspaper, or tv guide. I think it was a tv guide, and had Wham on the other side. I actually liked Wham more, but preferred the photo of Madonna. It's so eighties with the colours, but that makes me like it all the more. |

Love that photo! Reminds me of the debut album photoshoots (which also rank among my favourites). It's fabulously 80s with the hair and bangles but the focus is her face which is stunning; her features are so striking, particularly her eyes.

Love all the above photos, an underrated one is 'Something to remember' album cover. Simple but elegant.
