This is pretty good, it sounds like a Sigma single.

It is very similar to "Changing", which is probably why I like it so much.

The song is #5 (+3) on the ARIA Singles chart this week!

Wow, I didn't expect that She's not even top 40 on streaming so she must be a decent physical seller?! God knows, but I'm not complaining. Her continued chart slayage is amazing given the amount of Australian local acts who really struggle unless they're getting hits elsewhere like Sia.

Yeah her physical sales are really good. Sales figures for this week: 12 373 copies consisting of 7192 digital, 4429 physical and 752 streaming sales (from David Fuller on Facebook).

I am actually a little concerned for the album, both Get 'Em Girls and Beautiful (and their special versions) were released off the back of a single with an X Factor (or Australia's Got Talent) performance. Looking at how This Ain't Love did before she had her X Factor performance I am not sure where she goes from here.

I was thinking that too, honestly wouldn't surprise me if we just didn't get it until next year's X Factor season She can get hits without X Factor easily, for example Never Be The Same, but This Ain't Love tanked before the performance and it's easy to imagine the next single doing the same without one. You never can really tell with Jess, but I do wish they released the new album after this. I mean this is such a commercial and current song but it just missed top 40 prior to promotion, it would be a disaster if she released the album of the back of a #41 single :/ |

Never Be The Same had a TV sync ad for Revenge though. As long as she has another promo ad, her next single should do alright.
