never heard of Peter Rabbit before (or maybe I just forgot it) but this looks terrible, as you'd expect from Sony Animation.
what's next then, The Very Hungry Caterpillar? |

I thought 'Sony' when I saw this and wasn't disappointed, stains on the animation world they are.
I mean the prospect of a CGI Peter Rabbit is bad enough, but one voiced by JAMES CORDEN?! That's just offensive. |

I've read some reports that there has been some controversy over an allergy scene.

Well it does seem like the sort of tasteless tripe that would do that.
American animation outdoes itself yet again. :/ I'm not sure if it's worse them murdering the legacy of older works or creating their own awful originals. |

Whilst I was tempted to claim that there's been an oversensitive, over reaction to the scene, having read more about the scene in question, and presuming that what has been reported is indeed correct, the reaction seems quite understandable, as in the scene in question, Peter Rabbit shoots a blackberry into the character's mouth, which causes him to go into anaphylactic shock. Even if this scene has been taken out of context, that seems quite dark for a film about Peter flippin' Rabbit.
Not that it'll do the film any harm. After all, the best publicity a film can have is for someone to call a boycott over it. |

After all, the best publicity a film can have is for someone to call a boycott over it. Why even bother doing that in the first place though? If it’s them trying to raise awareness then fair play but there’s way less stupid ways to do that “Peter Rabbit: Would you like a blackberry? Character: No thank you I’m allergic, but I’ll have a banana” which is also a bit ridiculous but 100x less offensive. Is it just me or is there a bit of a pattern with rabbit-based movies having dark/inappropriate themes? Watership Down and Hop come to mind, and now this mess |

I was convinced into seeing this with my family, I was expecting a nightmare but it was kinda fun aha. I actually like James Corden though unlike seemingly everyone here so
