This song is fairly good. What has happened to her though? Going full Bangerz era here.

this is by far my pop song of the year
that first verse is a STATEMENT OF INTENT just listen to the words, yeah she's a beard but she has a big fat pop song to deny it with. max martin really is by far the biggest producer of any reader here's lifetime. remember those flash-in-the-pan timbaland, redone numbers? max was here before, after, present and effervescent. taylor's knack for songwriting with martin's structure and incredible way with melody. insane. we are all so lucky, fourth reiteration and all... |

Ugh whenever i see artists release new things to iTunes and the song / album blows up around the world, I always notice that said song / album is always at number like 185 in France. What's the matter with the French? Do they not like music?

Horrendous song and video. It feels like a real shark jumper on a par with I Wanna Have Your Babies. Once again I agree with you... and I'm quite surprised at the positive reception. Maybe it will grow but for now the chorus is a big no for me. But at least with this latest sellout she finally won't get nominated in the country genre anymore which is a good thing. I do like the lyrics of the first verse. max martin really is by far the biggest producer of any reader here's lifetime. remember those flash-in-the-pan timbaland, redone numbers? max was here before, after, present and effervescent. taylor's knack for songwriting with martin's structure and incredible way with melody. insane. we are all so lucky, fourth reiteration and all... I'm a much bigger fan of Timbaland than Max Martin but I have to agree with you somewhat. It's amazing how Martin can completely change his style and adopt a new one, even though it's still undoubtedly pop. If I didn't know that he produced 'Everybody (Backstreet's Back)' and '...Baby One More Time' I would not have guessed. On the other hand Timbaland's productions are more daring (at least they used to be) but always instantly recognizable, which doesn't have to be a good thing. |

What's the matter with the French? Do they not like music? That's the second version though, no? (I noticed it too and had to double check for another France) |

Will ths be available on Spotify? Or is Taylor one of those "I don't do Spotify" artists?
I want her to chart in The Netherlands, but that's not going to happen unless she makes it available for streaming |

Thinking about it it's actually quite cool how she's just changing style and yet she gets away with it. I don't think this change in sound will cost her many fans at all and will only win her more. She's had four very successful albums and it looks like the next one is going to smash as well. She's definitely someone we're gonna hear a lot from in the coming years.
And she's stunning in the video! If I was in the closet I'd want her to be my beard! |

The song is disappointing by Taylor standards, I think. She has had 22 #1s in my chart, and I don't feel like this is going to be a 23rd.
However, people are treating her unfairly over the video (Read More Here). |

I just can't get enough of this song, it's got that something special that means it doesn't get old through repeat listens. I've listened to this around 80 times according to my iTunes in just two days, which is practically unheard of me considering that I only have 6 songs on iTunes with more than 200 plays in total - I very rarely listen to a song so much in such a short space of time.
So glad this has gone to #1 on UK iTunes. When 'Mine' was released and charted at #30, if you said then that Taylor would have a UK iTunes #1 in 4 years time and be one of the biggest popstars in the world I wouldn't have believed you! |

Not a fan of Taylor but as far as this song goes, I Absolutley love it! Surprised it's at #1 in the UK as I never expected her to have a large fan base/ appeal here

By the way for anyone who was unable to watch the live stream or missed parts or all of it due to Internet connection problems, then here is the best video I can find of the full live stream! It does miss out a few seconds 3 or 4 times, but it's not an issue at all so give it a watch! |
