It's about time the fORAm had its own throwback thread as today marks 12 months since "Anywhere" reached #2 in the UK chart! An absolute bop and rightfully Rita's biggest hit to date.
Best pop song of the decade
It's such an undeniable barnstormer.
Seven years ago today, Hot Right Now was released in the UK, kickstarting Rita's career and record-breaking run of #1 singles!
Remains an absolute banger, it was so incredible seeing her perform it on her last tour, fingers crossed it makes the cut for the Phoenix tour!
I Will Never Let You Down was released 5 years ago today *.* 5 years of the longest album campaign known to woman!!
Still such a huge bop and I'm so glad that her and Calvin sorted out their differences after their breakup so Rita can perform this live 💖 Still one of her absolute best!
Still such a pop triumph can't believe this is still her most recent UK #1!
Hard to believe that this is her recent UK #1. 'I Will Never Let You Down' that some sort of 80s arcade game vibe, just sounded a bit like that. But it was great from him.
Christ, 5 years!? HOW?
Still my favourite Rita track. I remember being very whelmed by it on first listen, but it grew massively.
This was the first song of hers I liked to be honest, after her dreadful debut era. It's held up very well over time as well.
Still in her holy trinity with Anywhere and Let You Love Me!
