What a banger
This is such a bop
It’s pleasant but it gives me Relationship Goal vibes in that I feel I won’t go back to it after the initial hype. I am glad however she’s gone more country sounding than anything from TWG.
This is just below hair down in terms of shite
Peak of #188 on iTunes *.*
Una is over.
When did she start?
This is nice enough, it kind of feels like Saturdays slight country bop album reject rather than Una's sound to me, but I prefer it to pretty much all of The Waiting Game bar maybe Battlelines. I love country so should be much more into her than I am, but her sound is generally very "this'll do" UK country rather than matching up to the standard of US country.
Graham Norton played this on Radio Two earlier!
Una has confirmed the music video is coming Friday with a snippet posted on her Instagram. Looks very dark in comparison to what we got with Stay My Love/Battlelines.

I'm actually a bit surprised that this failed to even bother the top 150 on iTunes.
I can't see this album actually bothering the top 40 especially if she has no label (Did she get released from Deezer?). 'Never See Me Cry' has managed 4,323 streams since Friday 'Stay My Love' has 2.4m streams Mollie SHOOK.
UK iTunes
NOWHERE
Promo will be non existent either which is a shame as it was nice having a performance of SML.
Video tomorrow though
Surprised that Decca seems to have dropped her to be honest. They're not exactly the most successful label there is, but I guess after the Brett Young single didn't gain traction they didn't see much point in trying.
If she's releasing this independently, then she'll be lucky for the album to go top 200.
I actually prefer listening to the song while watching the music video if that makes sense? It makes the song stick a bit more for me.
Yes Una! Very simplistic but affective video.
I've been listening to this a lot since it came out. Wasn't really that hyped for it but this is by far her best solo effort to date. I just watched the video and it's pretty good too. The styling and visuals sort of make it feel like Una's answer to Hair Down.
She'll be performing at The Irish Post Music Awards whatever that is. It'd be amazing if this could actually chart in Ireland.
Charted at 3000 on the official chars
You're welcome.
A lot more oomphy than the original! Think I prefer it
I was surprised/excited when I heard 7th Heaven had remixed this a couple weeks ago. Their remixes are always great (especially their remix of Higher) and although this sounds a bit lower quality than some of their others, it really does elevate the track and shows that it works well as a pop/dance song too.
7th Heaven are literally remix Gods
The remix is far greater than the original.
This really should've done something. I'm not surprised it didn't, but had it been turned into a pop song rather than a country song it might've garnered more attention from Sats fans.
The song has less than 20,000 streams on Spotify.
I don't think we will see the second album and if we somehow do manage to see the second album, I can't see it bothering to challenge the top 40.
Think the problem is the lack of promo. By no means was she going to hit the charts alight with her debut era, but at least she had Lorraine, The One Show and I'm sure BBC Breakfast as well to get her face out there. This however, the opposite
She's been on both BBC Breakfast and Loose Women in the past couple weeks. Was it to promote the song or for something else?
She was promoting Never See Me Cry!
Saw her last night in London - it was a great show apart from the setlist. She didn't perform Battlelines which surprised me! She dedicated a small section of the set to the Sats with a performance of Last Call and Issues () and said that she still keeps in touch with the girls but they weren't in attendance last night she did say she had been recording and writing more material and debuted a new track called Wild Grasses which sounded really good.
