For example, song A has been enormously dreadful for me since the day 1, but for the other guy this can be the song of the year so... --- p.s. I still don't mind 'Someone You Loved' tho.

I can't fathom how people can still listen to the same song for over a year, I love discovering fresh new music every week. I get that the majority of the public doesn't care though and will stick on any old thing.

Best example for me is Rather Be which I absolutely loved before it charted but by the end of 2014 I was sick to the back teeth of it. Unfortunately a lot of the songs high up on those lists Dan just posted I never liked to begin with so have effectively gone past the point of me ever being able to like them.

'Rather Be' is a good example. I also loved 'Bad Guy', now I can barely listen to it due to overexposure.
