Yesterday marked the nine year anniversary since The Saturdays released their debut album Chasing Lights. Peaking at number nine, spawning five UK top 40 singles and being certified platinum, the album kicked off the girls careers with some of the best girl band pop there is.

What are your memories of Chasing Lights? What are your favourite tracks? What was your favourite moment of the era?

Not confirmed? Eesh, I hope they do actually go for 'Work', it's killer.

Well much as I like this album it certainly doesn't TOUCH Doll Domination or Catfights for quality. sleep.gif

It's still very good though, especially for a debut. My favourite at present is 'Why Me, Why Now'. Just lovely.

Still listen to this album now! Definitely was their strongest, the whole thing just works... speaking of which, Work continues to be amazing and forever underrated and one of only 2 singles of theirs not to go top 20 due to MJs death. Cascada killed it that week.... oops insensitive.

Wouldn’t it have been just outside of top 15 without MJ?

This album hasn't aged very well for me. I can't remember the last time I listened to a track from it!

Tracks like Keep Her and Vulnerable haven’t aged that well but Up is still a timeless classic.
