Lets start it off with good news...
34th week in the chart and it's back in the top 10 at #9 for this week!
Amazing longevity
I didn't know where to post this but the top artists on Radio 1 from the last year/365 days:
1 Drake 984
2 Little Mix 867
3 Ed Sheeran 756
4 Calvin Harris 675
5 Katy Perry 641
6 The Chainsmokers 636
7 The Weeknd 613
8 Kings of Leon 602
9 Jonas Blue 598
10 Dua Lipa 595
Nice
Amazing!
This era has broken all boundaries for the girls. I feel like it's actually "cool" to listen to them and they've opened up their fanbase a bit more. They've had various articles on LadBible etc.. all to great responses too! Usually you'll see the top comments flooded with "Ugh. LadBible used to be so fun, now we get this shit" or whatever, but they've seemed to embrace Little Mix that little bit extra.
Talent wins.
Spotify UK
13. Power
84. No More Sad Songs
89. Touch
96. Shout Out To My Ex
the fact that all of the singles from the GD era are in the top 100 on Spotify is amazing!
With all the singles doing well i, if honest, would have hoped the album would be on slightly higher sales. The album has performed very well but if the album was outselling Get Weird with ease it would indicate the girls are growing and developing their fanbase. The fact is probably on par to achieve the same overall sales may possibly indicate they have peaked and the next album may sell less.
That said, if they release an absolute banger of a lead single for the next album, everything i said above could be just rubbish
The issue with the album sales is that they haven't done any promo since the Brits. If there Power performance on BGT had gone ahead as planned their album would have probably had a huge spike in sales for a couple of months.
I think the album is doing better at this stage than Get Weird
I take that point ob board Joe, its a valid comment. When i look at it from the level of promotion they have done it would detract from sales. As you said, if they were in the Country promoting the sales would have benefited on a greater level.
I do believe the album has a minimum of 100,000 sales to achieve in the coming months. A fifth single, or re-release could speed this up greatly and possibly attract even higher sales.
I couldn't see a tour thread so I will discuss it here! OMG, it was incredible! Their vocals slayed, their dancing was on point, the atmosphere was unreal. It was utterly incredible!
I would love to see them again!
I am just gutted they didn't perform Cannonball and they called Wings their first ever single
Ella Eyre was awful, Sheppard were decent
WW sales: Glory Days - 8,000 (875,000 total)
Anyone else think Glory Days will spend a whole year in the top 20?
They have the tour to drum up more sales.
All 4 Glory Days singles are in the top 100 on Spotify UK
what a huge era!
All 4 singles certified gold!!!
Plus soon to be 2 million sellers!
4 platinum singles (at least as SOTME will go double plat soonish) and a double platinum album would be amazing!
Glory days indeed
Hoping the album can go triple platinum since the tour will give it a good boost in sales
Been reported by a Brazilian account that Little Mix have been in studio today working with Phil Plested who wrote Touch for new material for their 5th album. Reports also suggest that the girls have also worked with Iain James, who wrote Shout Out To My Ex, Hair and Mr Loverboy, RAYE and possibly MNEK.
https://twitter.com/BrasilLM/status/897517266065129472
Wonder if this suggests they are going to go musically in the same direction as Glory Days? I would love to hear more floor thrillers and happy songs that made the album stand out although I wouldn't mind also if they went a tad more urban. I'm hyped anyway!
Didn't MNEK work on a track for Salute? I'm probably wrong with my memory!
It's so unlikely they'd ever go back to the DNA sound but if they can continue the progression from Get Weird to Glory Days onto the next album, I can see myself getting behind them again.
Jade got a special delivery while they were in the studio- from McVities! Part of me is excited to hear new music from the girls, but part of me is worried that they may be releasing LM5 while still touring Glory Days
Glory Days 7,000 (904,000 total)
One of the album writers also received a plaque today for over 1 million sales of Glory days so that must be with streams.
The above is pure sales.
Ya - I was told.

This is where the 'pretends to be shocked' gif comes in handy. It was inevitable they would have a single to premiere during the X Factor live shows
This week's edition of Music Week announces that Glory Days: The Platinum Edition will be released November 24th, featuring three new tracks, 'Reggaeton Lento', and their Kid Ink, Machine Gun Kelly and Stormzy collabs.
A re-release!! Hopefully we won't get only 1 single.
Ew I’d scrap kid inc please, it’s awful
Will the single mixes replace the album versions of "Power", "No More Sad Songs" and whatever Kid Ink features on? Because if not there'll be 19 tracks on the standard edition of this re-release, a bit too many for an overall average album.
Can't wait to hear the new songs!
does this mean reggaeton lento is the "lead" single?
YASSS
I see them on November 19th so hopefully that means we'll hear some new material. Kinda hoping this won't feel like overload to the general public, that's only 6 weeks away and Reggaeton Lento is still top 5 and not showing signs of dying off yet.
Yeah, I'm confused as to whether the 3 new songs are just the 3 remixes, or whether they're actual new songs. I imagine it's the latter.
Very excited anyway! Can't WAIT to see the BTS documentary They're really serving the goods this era!
I'm gonna merge this with the 'Glory Days' album topic. But rename it etc..
Ooh fabulous! *.* can't wait to hear any new material as this era has already served some gems. BTS documentary sounds exciting too!
Like Rob I see them in November so I am also curious as to whether we'll get new songs on these dates ;o
Yeah. He's on 'Touch' and it's really not good. They need to keep the original on there!
I'm so glad it's a re-release rather than another rushed crap album.
I'd be surprised if they replaced the originals of Touch, NMSS and Power, it'll be more like Sia's This Is Acting re-issue with the solo version of Cheap Thrills left as it is, and the Sean Paul version added later.
Very hyped for this anyway, always suspected we'd get a re-issue and this could lead to some great Xmas sales again!
Triple Platinum album confirmed.
Wonderful news. This is a first for them (Re-releasing).
If they add 3 brand new songs in addition to remixes and the single version of songs the album could become their first million seller.
I assume Reggaetón Lento will get added to the album too.
I am excited as this era now has even greater potential.
Been quite a few news stories about this! I'm confident that it'll (yet again) be one of the biggest selling albums over Christmas. Maybe 2nd to Elvis and RPH Christmas album.
Does this mean the girls' contract will end?
Sadly I don’t think so. Given that OCC have said this will also count to the original album’s Sales it may still count as the 4th album
I'm so excited for this re-release. I hope the new single is handled well, I want it to debut top 3 and really want it to be another #1 for them so I hope they do some good promo around the tour.
I doubt the girls have any desire to quit Syco.
The cover has been unveiled! *.*
I love the cover
Much better than the original version - shame Perrie looks photoshopped on!
Pre order on 20th october
New single then as well?
I don't like the cover, it's all a bit busy for me and I much preferred the simplistic original cover. The girls look stunning, as always!
Looks like someone out of shot is trying to pull Jade away.
If that's the case then they should honestly just stop pushing Reggaeton Lento in countries where it's underperforming, even if they manage to get it up there'll be a new single just coming out! SOTME gets lots of unfair criticism imo, there was a time I wasn't too keen on it but it's an anthemic pop track and possibly their best lead single! I'd love this new single to be another 'statement'.
If there's another single coming out then why the hell are they still pushing Reggaeton Lento in Europe (and Oceania now too, it looks like) aaand in the US too? I'm so confused.
I much prefer that artwork to the original! Glad I won't have to see it again
The girls said that there is more to be revealed soon. Anyone else think it’s more tour dates?
I'm not actually crazy about that artwork... but I think that's mainly because of the text placement. The image is very busy, so the logo encroaching on the palm trees / 'The Platinum Edition' going across their legs, I feel it makes it look messy. Also, the girls look slightly "cut and paste", for instance Perrie's arm seems like it'd be digging into Jesy's side. Perrie & Jade look quite windswept, but Jesy/Leigh-Anne don't.
They do look gorgeous though, and I like the colour palette. With some tweaks, it could be a great cover. If the image without text will be shared, hopefully some fans will work their magic and create something that looks better!
Most excited for the next single, hopefully this will push NMSS to become Platinum and give GD a 3x Platinum certification
I would have said this had a chance of returning the album to #1, but it's against Noel Gallagher, so no chance. A would not rule out a top 3 return though.
Ugh. Out of EVERYONE to beat them, it HAS to be a f***ing Gallagher, doesn't it? 😩😩
Boo at the original Touch and its glorious middle 8 being replaced for a bad remix that wasn't even a single.
Touch remix aside I am excited
Well I won't be listening to that awful Kid Ink remix. There are enough collabs on it already!
I adore 'F.U.' but it now feels very out of place; should be after 'No More Sad Songs'. I agree that it was unnecessary to have the Kid Ink remix replace the original 'Touch'. 'No More Sad Songs' and 'Power' I can understand, but was the Kid Ink version even well received by anyone?
They could have kept the originals of “Touch”, “No More Sad Songs” and “Power”. Also, I wonder if any of the three bonus songs will be made into a single?
Well, it's logic to include the Power and NMSS remixes...It'd be weird not to include them really.
Kinda strange how they slightly re-ordered the original tracks on the album, they put all the singles at the start but kept FU Infromt on a couple...
Shame that they are releasing same day as Noel they deserve the #1 muxh more, will hopefully pickup sales around Xmas again
This is annoying. They could've done 1 of 2 things:
1- Kept the tracklist order (insert 'Reggaetón Lento' after 'Touch' though) replacing the originals (bar 'Touch') with the remixed singles.
2- Done a Sia (again having RL follow Touch) and not changed the tracklist at all and added the remixes on with the new tracks at the very end of the album!
I don't understand the logic behind replacing the original of one of their signature hits with a remix literally NO ONE is there for. It's really baffling. Really excited for the new tracks though!
I also don't like that Power and NMSS have been moved in between the run of 'F.U.', 'Oops' and 'You Gotta Not' which are all similar sonically. I'd have preferred those three next to each other somewhere. Maybe move them to before 'Private Show'?
But hey. I'm still gonna be buying it lmao
I've just pre-ordered the bundle off their website. I'm so excited to hear the new tracks.
Bundles are good!
A bit ;/ that there's nothing about a new single.
Little Mix are performing on Your Song tonight. No idea what they’re performing but we haven’t seen a TV performance from them since Brits in Feb, so I’ll take it, even if it’s just a performance of Shout Out To My Ex.
SCREAMING. They looked SO unimpressed at that reveal
I mean it's not much, but it's the most promo NMSS ever got so 😂😂. Hopefully it might have a small impact and help push it towards that platinum status
Shout Out To My Ex had more of a bump on iTunes this weekend because of Strictly, than NMSS did last night.
Pre-orders for this are looking very underwhelming at the moment? I know we aren’t expecting it to do as well as a studio album but I expected better. It’s a bit worrying if they’re not planning on a new single from it.
Lets blame #TouchRemix tbh.
Is Your Love Enough snippet sound so good!
Holy shit that sounds f***ing huuuuge! It's literally 'Touch' mixed with 'Reggaetón Lento'! 😍😍😍
We are not worthy.
It sounds great!
That sounds really good from the clip!
A new single yaaaaaaaaaaaas!!
Sounds great!!
EXACTLY What I needed!! Ahhhhhh!!
O M G
That sounds catchy!
It sounds perfect for the radio so I find it odd that they’re not announcing it as a single?
Oo, I wasn't expecting much when the additional tracks were announced, but I'm loving the sound of this! I agree that it sounds single worthy, but perhaps they're giving Reggaeton Lento a bit more breathing space before giving it the single treatment? Does seem odd not to capitalise on the initial hype though.
Is Your Love Enough, is strong enough to be a single to promote the new edition of the album. A new single would have a huge effect of the sales i believe.
Tik Tok girls if there's a new single!
They have said that they're glad that everyone is loving 'Is Your Love Enough' and that we will be hearing the full thing very soon...
Think they're gonna do the whole premiere on XF thing again next week?
So Paloma and Harry Styles are on X Factor next week and I hear it’s Taylor and Clean Bandit the week after, so I can’t see them releasing ‘Is Your Love Enough’ before the album. I know it’s only 3 new songs, but the re-release is turning into much less of event than I expected their label to have made of it.
The pre-order is doing quite badly for them, it all feels kind of pointless.
Honestly I don't care anymore. I mean it's just a re-release. The album already sold 700k (almost) in the UK and it's also close to 2M worldwide in just a year, that's pretty impressive.
I guess they're starting to step back a bit from the public's eye then snatch everyone back next summer.
It just would have been nice for another Q4 hit, which would have been easily attainable for them with something like Is Your Love Enough.
Here for that mid tempo Reggaetón vibe!
Not a fan of those 8 seconds. I just wants IYLE
Another preview of Dear Lover is up on social media.
Well to me it sounds like it could be another smash, if I Get My Way is as good as these two then i'll be so happy. I must say that Is Your Love Enough does sound stronger though.
I don't understand the handling of this... They could easily get another hit leading into the re-release? So where is it?
It's odd if something doesn't come out on Friday.
They must have something planned surely!
This is not like them at all
Don't worry guys!
Where I work we're having a lot of people enquiring about the "Little Mix film" or a new album... people know about it, I think they'll get top 3 again with ease!
https://twitter.com/LittleMix/status/930821456576917504
'If I Get My Way' snippet! I think this is the one I'm most excited to hear in full out of the three.
Well all 3 sound amazing. I don't know which I'd like as the single, I'm predicting a surprise performance of one of them anyway.
Sounds all over the place for me. Where's the melody?
All three songs sound great, I'm really impressed. All 3 sound better than most of the original album tracks in fact. I'm disappointed nothing got released before hand given how strong they sound. A very low key release.
This re-release feels very 'meh' to me. It just feels pointless and unnecessary tbh.
The songs sound really good though! They could have made more of it!
They could do something next weekend to coincide with the album release?
I suppose they’re going for longevity with sales over the whole Christmas period if a performance on the xfactor final happens.
I love this song but he absolutely murdered it. LM's version is currently #241 and #318 on iTunes though
He was horrendous!
They're not on XF next week??!
Nope. They have their O2 dates on both of them days
They're being kept for the final!
Hopefully Jade hasn’t her voice by then!
Actually wondering if this'll return to the top 5 next week?
Sam and Taylor are still selling a lot, Noel will be #1 by a huge margin, Elbow are probably going to do well, Bjork still has a fanbase, Ed Sheeran is performing on X Factor, and this is going out there with no buzz or single to support it.
I'm confident it'll do well tbh. Their fanbase is big enough to get at least 40k first week. Bjork about 9k/not much of a threat tbh. I didn't realise Elbow were releasing though and with them on the current John Lewis ad, that'll only help them.
But it's being requested a lot at this hmv. So I can see it being a big Christmas purchase, for sure.
I'm ready for the new songs to leak.
If the platinum editions can return the album to the top 10 it will be a good outcome, while i believe it could make the top 5 my expectations are not huge. That said, i will be disappointed if the re-release doesn't boost overall sales by at least 100,000 to make this their biggest selling album to date.
Ready for these tracks to leak today!
Once they perform on the x factor final (still hoping), the album will get a massive boost.
It wouldn't surprise me if they did a medley of either:
all the singles from this era
or
the 3 new songs
They're out there!
They're great!!!
dnj isn't working for me!!
Can someone pm me a link to where I can listen pleaseee?
On first few listens I would rank them:
Is Your Love Enough >Dear Lover > If I Get My Way
But all 3 are very solid tracks imo !
All 3 are so good and would be in the top tracks of the album.
For me it goes Is Your Love Enough > If I Get My Way > Dear Lover
The chorus and drop kinda let DL down for me, like Joe said. It's very early noughties R&B/Pop hook just with todays sort of sound and I don't think it works too well.
Loving the other 2 so much though!
Anyone have a link to these 3 songs to pm me pretty please?
Good early start:

Doing much better than I thought it would do (with no promo or single)
Happy to see those positions in Sweden, Denmark and Germany, hoping it can improve their peak positions, top 10 would be amazing, but top 20 great still! Same for Belgium, it could go top 10!
Tbf, WW they probably are the biggest release this week. I think the likes of Noel and Elbow are only huge album acts in the UK. Not sure they're that big anywhere else tbh.
Is Your Love Enough is 4th on the New Music Friday playlist!! Yyyaaaassss!!
So they might actually do better than thought with their album. They've made IYLE? (and I assume the others too) "Album Only".
Edit: appaz they're available.
Not album only for me
The touch remix is still messy af
The spotify version of the album is A LOT better.

What's different about the Spotify version?
I think If I Get My Way and Dear Lover are probably my bottom 2 from the whole Platinum edition oops, except maybe Your Love, oops :/ Is Your Love Enogh is a BOP tho
is it different? the spotify version?
Straight in a #5 on UK iTunes!
Is Your Love Enough the only one of the three I instantly love the other two are alright hope they grow!
I wonder how this is going to fair in North America, do we think new peaks could be achieved in the US and Canada?
"But... that's not all! Keep your eyes peeled to the girls' socials all day today because we've got a little surprise coming your way at 4PM GMT."
!!
I'll assume it's a music video for IYLE, or maybe confirmation of a promo preformance on XF or something like that
Surely it's not more tour dates or anything, they're exhausted
So the "suprise" was a behind the scenes video on YouTube :/
United Kingdom
iTunes:
19. Is Your Love Enough
20. Reggaetón Lento
27. Dear Lover
28. If I Get My Way
82. Reggaetón Lento
109. Power
United States
164. Is Your Love Enough?
183. Dear Lover
190. If I Get My Way
314. Reggaetón Lento (Remix)
The album is #22 on Usa itunes!! What's crazy is that Reggaeton Lento is only the 4th best selling Little Mix single on Usa Itunes at this moment.
Is Your Love Enough is AMAZING. Wonder when that's gonna become a single?
Wait at 'Dear Lover' being my favourite after not being keen on the snippet. I actually kind of love the (admittedly trashy) drop.
All three are really strong though! It'd be madness not to give one of them the single treatment.
LMFAO AT THE ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!
I AM DONE. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😭😭😭😭😭😭
What sort of an announcement is that??
The album is at #9 on Amazon with the original version at #79.
IYLE? is a smash hit hopefully they will perform it at X Factor Finale.
If they are on the XF final I can see them performing Reggaeton Lento with CNCO since both are Syco
I can see then doing IYLE on XF Final. Possibly two songs like last year and do RL with it.
Number 4 on the global iTunes chart
Songs already starting to fall positions on UK iTunes :/ - they're gonna have to start promoting one as a single
Is Your Love Enough didn’t even make the top 50 on Spotify.
That's not disastrous is it? I'm pretty sure them not naming it a single hinders its performance there, it's not on radio anywhere, people will only have listened to it out of pure interest or the New Music Friday playlists. And the re-release was very non-eventful outside the UK, no one associated RL with it...
I think If I Get My Way is my favourite of the new tracks!
IYLE is about to break the top 50 of US iTunes!
Okay this is when they seriously have to push to radios and do a video!
Dear Lover sounds like a streaming hit. Also the rumours of a song being called Incapable are probably from Dear Lover
The tour documentary is really good! But, it just basically confirms everything we already know about the girls and that they're the sweetest, funniest, most caring, down to Earth, hard working ladies in the entertainment biz today!
Jade breaking down was such a moment!
Confirmed for the X Factor Final next week ! https://tellymix.co.uk/reality-tv/the-x-factor/341364-x-factor-2017-final-little-mix-sam-smith-louis-tomlinson-prettymuch-perform.html
Surprise surprise
Watch them go and perform Reggaton Lento
Dear Lover has overtaken as my favourite now.
The girls are supporting Katy for her Argentina date in March.
OFC they're performing at the same time as Sam Smith... 😩😩
Wonder if they'll do a duet as well? Maybe with Rak-Su?
Is Your Love Enough? has been added to Hot Hits UK! Its coming
Is Your Love Enough? is brilliant on the first few listens, the snippet/hook are particularly catchy it really is the product of mixing Touch and Reggaton Lento together.
Touch > NMSS > IYLE/RL > Power > SOTME
Reggaeton Lento confirmed for the X Factor performance, hopefully we will still get IYLE as well!
Just confirmed there peforming Reggaeton Lento with CNCO at the X Factor Final
Christ. Why? It's been and gone for weeks now.
This was a prime opportunity to launch IYLE. It probably would've helped shift the album better too.
They just refuse to let go of that, don't they?
It's gonna be the first time both groups have performed together! Big deal, especially as Simon will wanna boost CNCOs fanbase a bit more too, I imagine.
I have a feeling they might mash up Reaggeton Lento with another song . I think they should start of with Is Your Love Enough and lead in to Reggaeton Lento I feel like those two songs would mash up well together tbh !
Yeah, I guess it's not entirely impossible that they could mash the two together! Would be preferable tbh!
The girls confirmed on twitter they are performing with CNCO.
The tweet itself seems to hint at something more than just a basic performance, something special, so I would say it's highly likely to be some sort of mashup. Depending on how much time they're given it could be a mashup of up to all four new songs from the Platinum Edition.
"We’re sooo excited we can FINALLY reveal that we are performing on @TheXFactor on next Sunday’s LIVE FINAL with the amazing @CNCOmusic! You don’t wanna miss this one…trust us 😉 we are BUZZING!! 🙌 xx the girls xx"
This did pretty well over the weekend, it's still at #2 with 21.7k. Sam Smith will most likely overtake, but I can see them charting at #3 this week which is pretty great. Noel is VERY frontloaded, so I can see them returning to #1 one of the weeks after XF.
What a great result.
This will sell very well next week and then into the Christmas period.
I can see this selling at least 200k easily by Christmas.
It is a fantastic start and much stornger than i anticipated. With the X Factor performance and their all round popularity, i too think 200k through the Christmas period is possible. Should this happen, it will push the album to triple platinum. The question is, has it enough power to move forward and become their first million selling album.
Dear Lover and If I Get My Way both have growed on me A LOT the past few days really liking them both a lot now . Is Your Love Enough is definitely my favourite of the 3 though I hope they make it a single.
Sam Smith sold more than LM and Noel yesterday:
Noel: 4k
LM: 3.3k
Sam: 4.3k
LM will most likely end up at number 3 by Friday which is still great!
Anyone big releasing next week? I can see LM getting the top spot after X Factor (especially if they do 2 songs).
Albums
1 Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds - Who Built The Moon [71.1k] *
2 Sam Smith - The Thrill Of It All [35.7k] ^
3 Little Mix - Glory Days [33.6k]
An insider has told me they're doing another 7/8 minute performance and it's 2/3 songs from Glory Days. That will give them HUGE sales into Christmas.
If they has released the album last week, they could have given Paloma a run for her money for number 1
I know we all want IYLE performed, but I want to see a big tv performance of Power and NMSS
An advert for this was just on during the I'm A Celeb ad-breaks. It makes you realise how many bangers are on the album
NMSS into Power into Reggaeton Lento is possible!
They are on X factor now!
POWER YASSSS
Power into Reggaeton lento!
OMGGGG AT POWER
That was incredible <3 <3
FINALLY getting the Power TV performance we've been waiting for, and the whole thing was worth it (though, if I'm honest, the vocals were one of the weakest I've heard from them, they REALLY need this upcoming rest).
Great performance, but the camera work was bloody dreadful. I could barely see the choreo!
About time - re: power!!!
Feel like ISYE would have been a moment too though.
I really want to see their entrance! Catch up TV wasnt working so I didn't make it in time to see it downstairs!
Richard and Jade got my pussy all wet.
What a waste of a performance slot, performing two old songs when IYLE is waiting in the wings to smash!
Dreadful vocals as well...
They might have been a bit more "off" than usual (but I'm with Joe tbh, what I heard was good) but dreadful? Really?
I thought the vocals were pretty good actually? Not perfect by any means, but 'Power' is an incredibly hard song to perform live. RL was a lot better.
I'm actually glad they opted for their older tracks. It should give the album a nice boost (although it would've helped if Dermot actually mentioned the re-release ). IYLE can smash in the new year when the Xmas songs vacate the chart.
Their mics seemed to cut out a bit in places but the vocals themselves were great.
Leigh Anne's part in power was really a low point for me, she's smashed it in so many live performances, but this was just so anti climatic. Also about 99% sure that Perrie lip synced the high notes in reggaeton
I just watched again and REALLY wtf is going on with the camera work? You end up missing half the performance. Fire the person who films from 1000 miles away as soon as they go into the dance break(for the second year in a row)...bizarre
I can’t at some people moaning about that peformance it was INCREDIBLE imo !
Now on youtube!
Just watched it 2 times back to back. Another great performance, probably their weakest XF guest performance, but it's still a million times more than anyone else. I'm just so in awe of them as performers. Genuinely my fave performers in well over a Decade!
Slay Queens.
Great performance (as usual).
Their vocals weren't the best but they were good enough.
The performing skills they have are the best around though - they give everything. It's always such a moment when they perform.
The XF performance was incredible I thought vocals were spot on bar mic problems. Obviously there was the usual breathing problems during the ‘I got the’s, during power
They always seem to have "mic problems". It happens far too often, nothing to do with their vocals then...
Vocals were fine. Performance was epic.
They did have technical problems though - you can clearly hear 3 Leigh-Anne's during her part and Jesy's mic was too low for the start of her part.
Let's not start putting the girls down for a fantastic performance. Everything that went wrong was out of their control.
Yea it was truly epic! Loved their entrance! I have to agree with the camera work, it was even worse this year
Any idea how this is doing in the mids?
Number 7 (thanks Joe).
Not bad at all - hopefully it stays steady in the top 10 for a few weeks.
Strong performance but i remain baffled at them doing Power when they should have done Is Your Love Enough.
6 in the mids, where it'll likely stay this week. The XF promo hasn't had the same effect for them that Pink's did. Pink's camera man wasn't all over the place though, I'm expecting the fact Little Mix's not being filmed properly cost them some sales.
Not that bad of a drop though I suppose.
What are their sales looking like - healthy?
That's really good.
I'm holding our for an 'ITV Christmas special with LM'.
One can hope
Yeah it would have been announced and maybe recorded by now if it was happening
Pink promoted a big hit and a new single and is rightly benefiting. Also the Little Mix album is a re-release and they didnt perform anything new so its understandable why Pink has a bigger advantage.
I wholeheartedly agree that it is mind boggling why Little Mix didn't perform Is Your Love Enough, as, at the least, it would have become another top 10 hit for them and would have attracted more album sales.
32,644 sold this week!
Not that much less than last week - good sign
Triple platinum here they come.
Any idea on sales so far this week?
https://twitter.com/mirrorceleb/status/941432190642085889
IIGMW is my fave of the new tracks, so I wouldn't oppose to that being a single, but IYLE is the true smash!
I think this is just for a seperate campaign anyway. I can't see it being a single.
So over 100k since the re-release.
It wouldn't surprise me if they sell over 100k over the next 2 weeks. Next weekend is going to have huge sales.
Triple plat is coming!
It should easily manage 45,000 this week and will then pick up some strong sales over the weekend. With things going well, they could come close to 200,000 next week with the re-release. It should manage to make platinum in its own right and take the the album to triple platinum overall.
That said, i would greatly welcome the album selling the millionth copy so they can achieve their first million selling album.
Number 10 in the midweeks.
They are on top at the min! Totally massive!!
http://vevo.ly/HTB0ZA
LOOOOVE that they gave us a montage sort of vid as a thanks to fans for that song. I still absolutely love NEM and it really puts into perspective just how huge they are. Love it.
Love the video for Nothing Else Matters Has it appeared on iTunes at all?
Love it. Wouldn't mind some chart action.
New Rules was originally written for the girls imagine if they kept it
Are they still on the race for British Video at the BRITs?
The album seems to be benefitting from gift cards. I wonder if I can pass triple platinum on Friday?
It might not be impossible. The platinum edition is all the way up to #10 on itunes and the normal deluxe version is at 25 which is up 130 places from yesterday.
I think 48k is possible with Christmas and a whole week of sales.
HMV have this for £14.99 on vinyl sale if anyone is interested!
If I get My Way has really clicked with me this past week, it is such a BOP!! Would love to see a live performance of it.
Think now that all the tracks have properly sunk in I'd rank them differently.
1. If I Get My Way
2. Dear Lover
3. Is Your Love Enough?
Sales this week were just over 24,000. I had hoped they would be higher for them.
Them, P!nk, Ed and newer releases like Eminem etc.. are the only chart ones not in sales. So I'm not surprised tbh.
I was expecting higher sales this week to be fair.
Amazing how Glory Days is the 4th Best Selling album in the UK of 2017, what an achievement for the girls!
AHHHH. That's incredible news!
This is taken from the end of year wrap up by the OCC
"Little Mix are the most successful group with five songs in the list including their 2016 number one Shout Out To My Ex at number 73. The highest of them, at number seventeen, is Touch. Their Glory Days album is the year’s fourth best-seller."
Given this, the fact they were the most streamed UK group and most watched UK VEVO group, the BRITS would be mad not to award them with Best British Group!!
Gahhh! So awesome!
(Even if it won't be happening )
Hopefully Is Your Love Enough? Can make the top 100 next year!
Would be awesome for Little Mix to win best group at the Brits. I can't see it though, pop acts in general don't fare very well in the Best Group category. Take That are the only one I can really think of who have won it?
Not many pop acts even get nominated for British Group. Spice Girls did back in the 90's, One Direction have. Take That have won it. Girls Aloud were nominated. I'm sure JLS got a nomination? Perhaps Sugababes and McFly? Little Mix could be looking at a nomination which would be a real honour, but sadly I can't see them getting it.
I don't understand why they got rid of the different categories; British Pop Act, British Rock Act, British Urban Act...??? Little Mix would be a clear winner for Best Pop Act, although knowing the Brits they do like to choose some weird winners. I mean seriously Kula Shaker over the Spice Girls for breakthrough?? Also Kate Nash and Mika (who I love) over Leona Lewis for British Female and Breakthrough in 2008??
Haven't they been nominated for best british group last year?
Logged it's 28th week in the top 10!!
I'm really still hoping the release IYLE, because it's stuck in my head just as much as their Glory Days singles and I know the GP are going to swallow it up. Do you think it's too late?
I've been over it for a while now, I'd rather they didn't... If I Get My Way is the superior track to me.
I think if it was going to take off, it's inclusion on Hot Hits Uk and constant airplay on Kiss Fm would have seen it happen, so it's clearly not quite big enough to be a massive hit. So I'd rather they wait now until the big come back in Summer.
...I guess it's probably better for them to keep out of the public eye for a few months, so the public don't get bored and more importantly, sanity reasons.
Agreed. They need to give the public enough time to miss them, but not too long that they forget them/don't bother with them. Something just before the Summer Hits Tour would be awesome!
I just want the girls to be rested and not exhausted and hating their career like One Direction
Glory Days being 58 copies from triple plat
Well at least it's guaranteed, the thought that they could ever have a 3x Platinum album didn't seem realistic at one point.
Girlgroup albums with the most weeks in the UK top 10:
#1 Spice Girls - SPICE (43)
#2 Little Mix - Glory Days (30)
#3 Eternal - A&F (24)
#4 All Saints - All Saints (23)
#5 Little Mix - Get Weird (20)
Officially certified 3x plat 😍
Just noticed every single released from the album has been certified platinum perfect title for it really
It has been a highly successful era for them in all aspects. May the next era continue the trend.
Glory Days is back in the Top 30 in today's midweek update.
The album is moving closer and closer to becoming their first million seller.
The album returns to the Top 25 this week
'Only You' is actually becoming a really smart move. I feel like it's big enough to be called a hit but not too big that it's gonna over shadow their big, actual comeback.
People are getting more and more thirsty for new Little Mix!
“Glory Days” spends its 86th week in the Top 200 Belgian Albums chart at #82.
It just surpassed “Spice” by the Spice Girls (85 weeks) and is now the 3rd longest charting girl group album of all time in Belgium!
Remains Top 30 in the UK too this week at number 28.
Outstanding.
That's with a single which is only being bolstered by radio and video play (and it isn't even on the album!). For an act of their nature, that's amazing.
People want more Little Mix and it makes me so happy to see!
Glory Days has sold 106,896 in 2018, and 70,000+ of that is from streaming units alone. It probably goes without saying that the continued presence of Glory Days in the albums chart is mostly thanks to streaming and that's been the case for quite a while now. It's typically achieving around 75% to 80% of its sales from streams, over the past few months.
Here's a smattering of information to demonstrate the strength of their streaming compared to pure sales:
s = streaming, p = physical, d = downloads
27/04/2018 - #30 - 2,657 sales [2,074 s | 484 p | 98 d]
25/05/2018 - #36 - 2,292 sales [1,834 s | 350 p | 108 d]
22/06/2018 - #52 - 2,052 sales [1,629 s | 339 p | 84 d]
27/07/2018 - #25 - 2,418 sales [1,857 s | 368 p | 193 d]
9,419 sales accumulated over these 4 particular weeks: 7,394 comes from streaming.
It's not far off a million combined sales now (983,838). It would be interesting to know the split between the three forms of sales consumption. I wouldn't be too surprised if it's at least 300,000+ from streaming.
This is no criticism of Little Mix, but to the Official Charts - I can't help but think it's a bit ridiculous to consider the amount of streaming they've managed is equivalent to hundreds of thousands of actual sales. A vast amount of those streams won't necessarily have been the listener intending to consume their music as an album, just a few particular tracks off it, yet the accumulation of many people doing this is being counted as album sales. Ed Sheeran's Divide sales from streaming alone must be absurdly high.
I just feel like Glory Days' presence this high up the chart has long since verged into the "by default" stage, because they're consistently achieving around 1,700 to 2,000 streaming units a week. It only takes 1,800+ to crack the Top 40. It's more than likely it'll be around for months to come.
When you consider on the 27th July that Glory Days sold 561 pure sales and placed at #25 with 1,857 of streaming added in, while Kylie's Golden sold 992 pure sales and wound up being #74 due to only 223 streaming units, it certainly makes me ponder whether album streaming is way too dominant nowadays.
It's just that streaming is such a huge force right now. I think they need to balance it better in regards to the albums chart though. But eh, that's for a topic in the chart forum it's frustrating though.
Streaming really pisses me off, it's completely ruined the charts tbh, all these supposed million selling singles and albums that actually do not match 'real' million selling singles and albums impact at the time...
When you buy an album it's one sale. I have played my favourite albums thousands of times but it's still only one sale. Streaming should be the same. I accept that people pay to use the service so it should be reflected, but one play of an album should be one sale and then no matter how many times you play it after that it's not anymore sales just like a physical CD, just like a download...
Omg. Please stop getting defensive. Goodness me.
I've agreed with Jay, I'm not a fan of the ratio thing, but unfortunately there is nothing we can do about it. However, to discredit Little Mix and their popularity coz their physical sales don't match up to what happened in the 90's is ridiculous. The comparisons need to stop. Sales wise at least. People consume things differently now. People don't need to "rush out and buy a copy before they sell out" and panic buy anymore.
Imo, Little Mix (you might say I'm just being a blind stan or whatever, but tbh idc) are the closest we've been to Spice Girls/All Saints since them. Definitely culturally at least.
Spiceboy, you needn't fret or worry, your girls legacy is still in tact. Times have just moved on. We consume music differently now and it's a lot more convenient and easy for us. How the OCC measures those to get a chart, that's up to them,. Had CDs been the only option to purchase music now, you don't think Little Mix would have sold more physical copies than they currently have?
Pop nostalgia fan upset by Spotty Fry shocker.
Spice Girls legacy will never, ever be beat. But if Spotify was around in the 90s and part of the chart Spice Girls would have sold less CDs and had more streams instead and that’s just how it is!
I'm not getting annoyed in my reply at all (although I guessed saying it pisses me off would give that impression lol ).
It also has absolutely nothing to do with Spice Girls whatsoever as they are still the biggest selling girl band without spotify so if anything it just proves how huge they actually were that they continue to out perform in this day on their past achievements. Their impact is totally irrelevant to streaming of all other artists that annoys me.
It annoys me that there are so many 'million selling' singles that I don't believe have had the same impact as million sellers of the past and have got there due to repeated plays of a track which is what everyone did in the past anyway simply with a CD yet all those plays never counted before. Songs like Symphony, Unforgettable, Dancing on my own, Hymn for the weekend, Pillowtalk... and so many more are supposed to be on the same level of achievement as songs such as Believe, Karma chameleon, I wanna hold your hand, Unchained melody, Dancing queen, Wannabe. Being a million seller is no longer anything special for just the few songs that really made that huge major break through.
I have nothing against streaming itself I just don't understand why it counts as more than one sale when a CD sale doesn't count more than once and a download doesn't count more than once...
Also I actually love Little Mix I think they are fantastic, they have some great songs and all four of them are so talented, I actually saw them live this year and came away raving about them they were brilliant. I truly wish them all the success in the world they've been together for ages and are obviously dedicated to their band (far more than Spice Girls ever were!) I am also a massive Girls Aloud, Sugababes, Bananarama and Supremes fan, and also really like Atomic Kitten, a few Saturdays tracks, All Saints and The Bangles. So being a Spice Girls obsessive has nothing to do with it at all before people try to paint that picture of me.
It’s not relative though at all. The others count for one sale these count for numerous sales depending how many times you play it.
Yes it reflects a difference in consuming music that’s fair enough but it is not relative to the past way of consuming music at all. I agree again that a hit is a hit but it’s ridiculous to compare an album that sold 100,000 on cd sales alone which actually had to sell more since one sale only counts for one to an album selling 100,000 now which actually is due to 80,000 streams many of which are by the same person... if it were relative it would only ever be one sale not more.
Anyway that’s the last I’m posting I think Little Mix are fabulous and I apologise for taking attention away from them.
My summary is: it's not the same, but it is close enough to fit with the times.
It's 150 streams is one sale on a premium account and 350 streams is a sale on a free account and only 10 streams per person per day count.
It's 150 streams is one sale on a premium account and 350 streams is a sale on a free account and only 10 streams per person per day count.
I do understand the points about million sellers today do not have the same impact as million sellers once had.
Million selling singles were extremely rare until recently where it happens all the time.
With that said, how we listen to and access music is now so different.
I would argue that a million selling single today does not net the same revenue as a million selling single did in the years gone by.
I don't think anyone is arguing against that, certifications need to be moved to 300k, 500k and 800k IMO.
Any old flop can go silver now, where as genuine hits from 2002 - 2008 still aren't even silver!
Another point i would agree with.
Songs that no longer make the Top 40 but stay in the 41-100 region are gaining silver status with ease although they don't register as hits.
Also people have to understand that the world's population is fast increasing and that access to legal music platforms has risen significantly recently, before Spotify many were select buying on iTunes etc and illegally downloading or ripping other songs, this was all during the era where the internet was gaining mega popularity, which is a reason it hit sales bad between 2002-8.
2003-2004 really saddens me in regards to songs not reaching their cultural relevance with it's sales. For example, 'Toxic' and 'Everytime' are "only" 400k+ sellers. 'Crazy In Love' by Beyoncé is the same iirc. Sales have never represented the cultural significance of songs imo, so I don't think it matters as much as people believe it does, imo.
I think sales are just a way for record labels to plug success or see potential in acts, the most important thing for an artist is radio airplay and ticket sales. I'm pretty sure radio stations layout about £200 per radio play.
Sales were so horrible then!
Everytime ended 2004 on sales of 197,000 copies - despite it spending 7 weeks in the Top 10. It grew to 400,000+ as of November 2016.
Toxic had sold 260,000 copies by the end of 2004, and it finally achieved 600,000+ sales as of December 2017.
Crazy in Love has hugely benefited from the digital era. It sold 267,000 physicals, but as of July 2018 its overall sales have swelled to 1,111,000 - thanks to 502,000 streaming units(!) and 342,000 downloads.
That's right they just changed it recently, it used to be 150 then 350 after it goes ACR. They're changing so often I'm losing track lol.
Yes I did realise it had to be a certain amount of plays not one sale per play. It's still reflective of a hit that achieved certain status from selling one copy and that only ever counting once to a song that gets a sale for every 150 times it is played. I'm not against streaming I just think it should be capped at one sale per person (or account) and one account cannot play a song 10 times a day (along with the rest of an acts fanbase) in order to get a song up in the charts. I also don't think that the playlists should be allowed to count, as it's essentially like putting on the radio and listening to whatever the radio deems you should listen to, or a Youtube playlist. They don't count as sales and there are songs getting massive sale influxes due to casual listeners who might not even particularly like that song or even consider playing or listening to that song never mind purchasing it.
I'm not against streaming but I think it is handled wrong and has made a bit of a mockery of the chart.
Yeh I get that, it's a bit like giving sales to a song on the radio depending on how many people are listening at the time.
It looks as though the album may drop out of the chart soon after 129 straight weeks! How amazing. I’m sure it’ll have a few more weeks in the future like Get Weird did.
It’s still in the top 100 now
What a crazy era this become for them.
Uk wise Aside from Leonas debut is it the best selling X Factor album?
Some of Olly Murs albums have sold more than Glory Days.
Did JLS' first album also sell more?
I feel like Jordan meant "winners". But tbh that really isn't that difficult a feat aha. Aren't Leona & Little Mix the only winners to achieve million sellers?
I did mean winners wise yeah!
I think 1ds debut may have sold more too.
Aside from Leonas debut though it’s definitely the X Factor album to spend most weeks at number one and I think it’s the one to get most weeks top 10 too even beating Spirit.
It’s so impressive that Little Mix did that with their fourth album though.
That’s usually when X Factor acts are on the decline.
I thought it was the biggest other than Leona winners wise I thought it had outsold Alex’s debut album but didn’t know if I underestimated her popularity in 2009-10 when sales were bigger.
'If I Get My Way' some how majorly grew on me today... still bitter 'Is Your Love Enough?' was not performed, let alone released as a single. PERFORM IT PLEASE GIRLS! This, Wasabi and Forget You Not for the tour!!
I'm quite annoyed they didn't give IYLE? a proper single release. Ugh.
I hope you're right and they add it to this tour, but I highly doubt it!
Back in the album chart at number 79 this week
Amazing.
Charted for 157 weeks. Wow!
Brilliant news!
I guess we'll get a total sales update pretty soon then
So fab this album has charted again for the 157th week. Hopefully it lasts a few more weeks.
It's great to see it selling but I'd like to see Lm5 back on the chart just to help it move a tiny step closer to platinum.
Still Top 100 this week in the mids, its number 94 today but no sign of lm5.
Glory Days has charted for the 158th week today. Amazing!
Number 87 isnt bad and over 1k added to its tally.
I used to have the re release of this cd! The one what had the documentary as the other disc.
Is there another way to watch it? Like is it on YouTube or anything.
I remember leaving a load of stuff at my now ex’s and there’s no way I’ll go and get them back well I can’t right now anyways but rather than buying again as I have the addition what has the Get weird your is there a way you can watch the documentary without owning that addition of the album.
Still top 100 this week at 97, another 1k sales or so
You've got to be kidding

As much as people like to hate Oops, it probably should have been a single, they could have lazily flung it out after Power and it would be far into Platinum right now.
For sure. Radio would have been ALL OVER it. For an album track they already were iirc! I really like 'Oops' tbh. It's so cute and I definitely saw it's potential as a single. I actually think it might've been had they not decided to go for RL and a complete repackage instead. I really wish that they'd pushed 'Is Your Love Enough?' after RL though. They were in a prime position to turn that into a massive hit with minimal promotion.
I think they could've pushed it alongside Touch and have both being smash hits at the time, they had it in them and the public was thirsty for Little Mix at the time.
I thought Oops would've been cute just after the album's release, I don't think it would've harmed any sales of the other singles.
Shoutout To My Ex
Touch
(Album Release)
Oops ft. Charlie Puth
No More Sad Songs
Power ft. Strormzy
Oops would’ve made a great single choice
I prefer it to both Power and No More Sad Songs.
As much as 'Oops' would've smashed (and low-key did off the back of a 1 minute X Factor performance), I'm glad they didn't bother. It would've undoubtedly outsold NMSS, but it would've been a blemish on an otherwise perfect singles run. It's obvious the girls aren't a fan either -- it still makes me laugh that they paid it dust on tour.
Charts at #90 this week!
Also #95 last week, probably boosted by the CTM ads featuring SOTME.
I think they are about 100k away from 4x platinum but I think it will get there at some point.
It's kinda their signature album now.
This absolute behemoth of a classic turned 7 yesterday. Gonna give it a celebratory listen later
It's a good era singles-wise, but I still think the album itself is incredibly shoddy. You can really tell it was thrown together in a rush to capitalise on the success they'd had with Get Weird.
Yeah, apart from LM5 & Salute, I really don't rate any of their albums.
I do think if they were to release a studio album in the future, it would be strong considering they've been able to take time with the solo ventures and work with producers outside of the Little Mix camp, which I think stunted them creatively.
