Scott Mills just played The Power Of Love and lackey asked what the Hooded Claw is...

He was the fab baddie from The Perils Of Penelope Pitstop, a Wacky Races spin-off animation series, played by the uber-camp Paul Lynde, staple of USA 60's and 70's variety shows and most-famous for being practical joker warlock Uncle Arthur in Bewitched.

Not a lot of people know that.

Any other examples or questions with outdated pop-culture refs post here... laugh.gif

Not so much pop-culture but the opening line "I'm in the phone booth, it's the one across the hall" might not make much sense to a lot of people.

Mousse T's 'Horny' - "I sent a message through the internet but it rejected" sounds about a hundred years old now, as does Eminem shockingly stating two years later "I should download the audio on mp3!" in The Real Slim Shady.

In a couple of decades they'll probably be playing 'Selfie' by The Chainsmokers in history lessons.
