We had one of these a few years back, but Clara was the most recent companion at the time and we've had a few newies since then, so it's time to see how the results change! I've opted not to include the one-off companions such as Astrid or Lady Christina, and no matter what Wikipedia tells you, I will never see James Corden as a companion Jackie Tyler is somewhat debatable but I needed someone extra for my grid below to look presentable as she said, anything could happen x nonetheless, I'd say the above is a reasonable list of who's considered a companion in modern Who! We'll kick things off with a DOUBLE ELIMINATION so vote for your TWO least favourites in the above poll. I'll leave each round open for a few days! Inoffensive at worst but most of the others have provoked far stronger emotions in me than Ryan ever did...! At least he contributed to the iconic "Ryan Sinclair don't you dare"

The second choice is more difficult but unfortunately it has to be Ryan, just really lifeless as a character. It’s the issue with all of the ‘fam’ but I guess he represents it the best in that he never takes control of the situation like a companion should, he’s just ‘part’ of the story and essentially waits for the Doctor, or another de facto leader, to tell him what to do. tbh I always forget about Nardole as a companion so he’ll be coming up sooner than later on my votes

The owls are not what they seem Pronouns: He/him Joined: 11 July 2009 Posts: 37,120 User: 9,232	I'll just go with everyone else as I have to remind myself of Adam and it's never good and Ryan is the worst of a truly weak bunch of companions, they really never gave him anything apart from the tacked-on Dyslexia and absent mother plotlines and he was just not a strong enough actor to give him the flair he needed. Not that Yas and Graham are much better, they're next.
