Higher Than Deserved: Radioactive
Lower Than Deserved: Girls
23 3.01 Lay Down Your Weapons (K Koke feat. Rita Ora)
Hot right now: Frenchie, Cody Burnett, Riser, Jordan Lee (6)
R.I.P. to the bullshit: Dobbo, Cqmerqn, Rhoda Camel, danG (0)
To the surprise of nobody, Lay Down Your Weapons is the first track to drop. A top 20 hit in 2013, when Rita had just brought her hugely successful ORA era to a close, she provided the chorus to K Koke's sole UK hit to date. It didn't stick around for long, spending only two weeks top 40, and hasn't made any sort of lasting impression. It's not shocking, considering K Koke's a pretty terrible rapper and Rita's chorus is the only decent part - I'd have preferred a Pt. 2 version!
Yeah. No surprise with that one. So nothingy and forgettable.
next.
'Lay Down Your Weapons' was a bit uneventful at the time and definitely feels dated now. Not a surprising last placer at all!
bye
Not surprised, a very forgettable track that coasted off Rita's massive success. Think 'Girls', 'New York Raining' or 'R.I.P.' (2018 version) will be the next ones out.
Lay Down Your Weapons definitely the low point of her career, glad we're mostly on the same page with that x
22 4.35 New York Raining (Charles Hamilton feat. Rita Ora)
Hot right now: George.keh (9)
R.I.P. to the bullshit: Dobbo, Cqmerqn, Rhoda Camel (0)
Rita's collaboration with American rapper Charles Hamilton is the next song out! New York Raining reached #29 in the UK charts in June 2015, which remained Rita's lowest peaking single until 2019. The track appears on the deluxe edition of the season one soundtrack for Fox's TV series Empire.
I really like NYR and think it gets way too much hate
I like New York Raining! I don't love it though and that's definitely the right point for it to drop out.
Same as Joseph, really. It's better than people would probably remember it being, but it's definitely not an essential and is in the right place for it's fall out of the rate.
Not surprised at that bottom two.
For me Girls and How We Do are her weakest two efforts but these aren’t far behind so I’m not too gutted to see them drop out at this point.
Feeling like we could be in for a Anywhere, I Will Never Let You Down, Let You Love Me top 3 perhaps.
Phoenix era to do better than ORA.
And Body On Me to be her highest collaboration.
.
21 5.10 Shine Ya Light
Hot right now: Calum (8.5)
R.I.P. to the bullshit: Bré, Cqmerqn, Tawdry Hepburn, Rhoda Camel (0)
'Shine Ya Light' was Rita's first ever post-album single and is remembered for being the song she made her X-Factor performance debut with. It's not the mostly fondly remembered track among fans though, as can be seen by that 5.10 average. Luckily, the followup single was a bit stronger.
'Shine Ya Light' is honestly my least favourite song of this decade.
No major losses yet.
No surprises just yet but there is likely to be one or 2 further in the countdown.
20 5.19 Girls (feat. Cardi B, Bebe Rexha & Charli XCX)
Hot right now: NickF1, Doug, JosephStyles (10)
R.I.P. to the bullshit: Bré, SamJudd, Liam, Cqmerqn, Jack, Mack (0)
At #20 and as I predicted, ridiculously low here, is 'Girls'. I remember when I, and most others, first heard it during BBC Radio 1's big weekend back in 2017, there was a massive buzz surrounding it. Everyone begged for it to be a single as it seemed to be "an anthem for the gays/bisexuals", it got a release almost a year later and suddenly everyone hated it? Lmao. Like, they HATE it. I understand the criticisms that the chorus feels weaker than when she performed it (it's why I couldn't rate it too high despite liking it a lot) but I feel it's really harshly scored :'( - Let's blame Cardi B.
Forever underrated </3
Definitely was treated way too harshly, think it deserved better.
Yup I find the criticisms of Girls to be very harsh too, I absolutely love the song and always have! Cardi's verse goes OFF *.*
smashh, doesn't deserve such a hate.
19 5.44 R.I.P. (Sofía Reyes feat. Rita Ora & Anitta)
Hot right now: Nick F1 (10)
R.I.P. to the bullshit: Cqmerqn (0)
One of Rita's most recent tracks saw her team up with Latin pop stars Sofía Reyes (former BJSC artist of mine *.*) and Anitta to record Spanglish bop R.I.P. The track is Rita's only single not to peak in the UK top 100, which is a shame after dipping in and out of the Spotify top 200 meant it can't have been far off! The track is very infectious I find and likely suffered from people being less familiar with it.
Ngl thats down at the bottom with NYR & LDYW for me. Oops. Really not as good as it's made out to be, imo.
Aww nooo
So low, summer jam
Original R.I.P >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
'Girls' is trash and got what it deserves, terrible production, terrible lyrics, Cardi's verse is trash and so is Bebe's. Not underrated at all in my opinion!
18 6.50 Carry On (Kygo & Rita Ora)
Hot right now: Cqmerqn, Nick F1 (10)
R.I.P. to the bullshit: Calum, George.keh, HausofF, Tawdry Hepburn (3)
Carry On is one of two singles to make the UK Top 40 for Rita in 2019! This collaboration with Kygo made it to #26, spending a respectable 8 weeks inside the Top 40. It is taken from the soundtrack to Detective Pikachu and plays during the end credits of the film. Rita plays Dr. Ann Laurent in the movie!
Carry On proved to be a grower for me, the production is lush and suits Rita perfectly!
No particularly big losses so far although 'Carry On' was better than I was expecting for a Kygo soundtrack song! Definitely a grower.
I can take or leave Carry On. It's def one of her weakest singles, but it's a cute bop.
I feel like she's had far worse songs than 'Girls' which have done well, but I'm not really considering it crashing out in 20th place to be a loss.
CO definitely to low
17 7.03 Coming Home (Sigma & Rita Ora)
Hot right now: Cqmerqn, Nick F1, Cqmerqn, Dobbo (10)
R.I.P. to the bullshit: Tawdry Hepburn, Rhoda Camel (3)
A big jump into the 7 averages now, with Rita's rather by the books, but serviceable Sigma collab 'Coming Home'. This was another Rita/ X Factor performance and came in the year where she herself was a full time judge. It was a decent hit for both parties in the end, charting at #15 and being certified Gold.
Coming Home is definitely made by Rita's vocals
Yeah I really think she suits more upbeat dance vibes as she sounds soo good on 'Coming Home'
WAAAAY too low, fantastic song.
Coming Home >> Lonely Together
oops.
Coming Home should be much higher.
Oh my Gosh another one waaay to low.
I did think this would be at the lowest, close to the Top 10.
16 7.09 Only Want You (feat. 6LACK)
Hot right now: NickF1, Joe, Jack (10)
R.I.P. to the bullshit: George.keh, Feel_The_Fever, Rhoda Camel (4)
Up next is the last single from 'Phoenix'. It is the 2nd song from the era to drop out, but has a good score. One I thought would be slightly higher though. The video sees Rita Ora's future Oscar winning acting *.* in a very "homage to 'Everytime' by Britney" kinda video. No wonder NickF1 stans it Oh and that's yet another one of Nick's 10's dropping out lmao!
Low result for coming home and it's far better than only want you.
Coming Home deserved better
Only Want You could have been huge
'Only Want You' is stunning So much better than other singles that did okay for her like 'Girls' and 'Shine Ya Light' - I probably even prefer it to 'How We Do (Party)' and 'RIP' now!
And here’s me thinking that Coming Home was slightly too high. Not really an ultimate fave for me.
Poor underrated Only Want You. Other than R.I.P. (2019) it’s her only single to miss the UK Top 40.
15 7.28 Poison
Hot right now: LMLou (11)
R.I.P. to the bullshit: Bré (3)
Sorry for the delay! My section irritatingly coincided with my trip away.
In 2015, a year after I Will Never Let You Down, Rita finally released its follow-up. Poison was Rita's final "held back" single release with pre-orders and charted at #3 in the very last Sunday chart. It was supposed to lead Rita's second album after the Calvin-produced tracks were scrapped and Rita hit the drawing board again, but of course, as we know, it never ended up seeing an album.
Probably in my top 3, Rita singles that middle 8 is quite something, sad to see it this low
It's OK, but very forgettable.
LOOOVE Poison. It's very addictive. I find myself not wanting to go back to it too much, but once I do, I end up repeating it like 3 times in a row
Poison It unfortunately seems a little forgotten about (not helped by Rita choosing not to perform it on her recent tour).
14 7.32 How We Do (Party)
Hot right now: LMLou, SamJudd (10)
R.I.P. to the bullshit: George.keh, Tawdry Hepburn (2)
How We Do (Party) served as Rita's debut solo single in the United States, Canada, Australia & New Zealand! Released in March 2012, it peaked at #62, #68, #9 and #5 respectively in those countries. To date it remains Rita's highest chart position as a lead artist in the US. It was held back as the second single in the UK & Ireland (following R.I.P.) and it became a huge hit in both countries, peaking at #1! Despite this, it wasn't included in the set list of Rita's most recent tour Phoenix World Tour. Judging by it finishing 14th here, it seems that a lot of her BuzzJack fans wouldn't have been too dismayed by its omission!
Party and party and party and party and party and party and party and party #cleanversion x
How We Do was the first song of Rita's I really loved! Still remains a fun track now, shame it wasn't on the Phoenix tour, the only major omission for me!
This is a middle of the road single from Rita, not her best but very far from her worst.
Poison is her best middle 8.
How we do should have been much higher.
Actually Poison is in her best 5
1. I will never let you down
2. Anywhere
3. Poison
4. How We Do
5. Girls (not Soz)
'How We Do' is a third-rate 'Last Friday Night' (if 'Domino' is a second-rate version).
How We Do stayed too long tbh. One of her weakest singles for sure.
Her singles have such varying styles when all put together.
Rita hasn't fully found the sound she is happiest with.
13 7.40 Radioactive
Hot right now: Liam (11)
R.I.P. to the bullshit: Cqm (0)
Cqm displaying awful taste shocker! Radioactive is a BAWP, and should have done so much better than its #18 peak. In fact, I was sure this was a top 10 until I just checked. OOP. Poor flop
That screencap wow! What a song as well though
I didn't zero it!!!
It was cqm I think Ooooop
Radioactive Misunderstood by some </3 but I'm glad it's made it this high and evidently a few of us get how much of a bop this is! It's my favourite single from her debut era actually. I said what i said x
Radioactive never truly grabbed me much. It's quite good but Rita has faaar better!!
Palms to the skyyyyyyyyy
I would place Radioactive slightly higher.
'Radioactive' was bearable in comparison to the rest of the garbage that came from that era, but still only average.
Ya radioactive isnt one of her finest singles.
12 7.43 Body On Me (feat. C***s B***n)
Hot right now: HausofF (11)
R.I.P. to the bullshit: Joe. (0)
Who wants to be new mod???!!!!!1!>!>!>!!?!?!>1./ Joe showing that LACK of actual taste. WTH. Body On Me is a massive B O P. It was a major highlight on her Phoenix tour too. Do I wish there was a version without C***s B***n? Ofc, but I'm not begrudging this masterpiece! Her 2nd best song ever. I was gutted it only went top 30 though. Wasn't that due to it being like a mid-week (Wed) release or something though? ICR.
But anyway, a masterpiece and I am SO happy I got to do the commentary for this
Body On Me is STUNNING. Chris Brown is ofc an awful person but that doesn't stop the song being sublime. A highlight on both tours recently as well!!
Wait... not even low top 10 for BOM
Officially buzzjack has BAD Rita Ora taste
Yeah, I'm kinda surprised BOM is as low as 12.
11 7.56 Hot Right Now (DJ Fresh feat. Rita Ora)
Hot right now: Jade (11)
R.I.P. to the bullshit: HausofF, blacksquare (4)
Rita's very first hit finishes just outside the top 10 here, despite getting an 11 from Jade! Hot Right Now gave DJ Fresh his second #1 and introduced Rita to the public, kickstarting her hat-trick of #1 singles from her debut. Rita performed the song on both her recent tours, with the energy levels always rapidly increasing during this track!!
What are the 10 remaining songs, surprised Hot Right Now is not one of them.
Anywhere
Black Widow (Iggy Azalea feat. Rita Ora)
Doing It (Charli XCX feat. Rita Ora)
For You (Liam Payne & Rita Ora)
I Will Never Let You Down
Let You Love Me
Lonely Together (Avicii feat. Rita Ora)
R.I.P. (feat. Tinie Tempah)
Ritual (Tiësto, Jonas Blue & Rita Ora)
Your Song
There's a lot of mediocrity in that top 10 :/ Hot Right Now is better than most
For You (Liam Payne & Rita Ora) and I Will Never Let You Down alreafy way to high
Banning the above two posters
I Will Never Let You Down too low? I’ve heard it all
IWNLYD is overrated
Not even close to her best singles.
And For You is even worst.
Nick.
Shut. Yo'. Mowf.
As far as I’m concerned, I Will Never Let You Down and Anywhere aren’t far removed from each other... both are euphoric pop. So for me, IWNLYD showed what she can be capable of & it still holds up as one of her very best!
For You in the top 10 doesn’t shock me! If it’s low top 10 then that’s about right for me.
For You is terrible agreed on that.
But IWNLYD is by some way her best track, hopefully it beats the overrated Anywhere.
'RIP', 'Lonely Together' and 'For You' are the ones I'd boot out of the top 10.
I love all of Radioactive, Body On Me and Hot Right Now.
Radioactive is one of the major highs of her debut era for me. I totally don’t remember that official video for it though!
Hot Right Now is definitely my favourite Rita UK #1 too.
For You, i really like it and welcome it getting so far.
A top 5 finish would be welcoming.
The main culprits for being in the top 10 over others for me are, Your Song and the overrated Lonely Together.
Personally I'd swap R.I.P. for Body On Me and it's otherwise great! Though I'd personally have Girls there too, probably over For You, but that's not a remotely surprising absence
Lonely Together is overrated for sure.
I feel Aviciis passing perhaps has it in higher regards to people?
Not sure on that one! It was extremely popular on here when it was released. I was never massive on it myself but it's a decent track.
Not sure on the other platforms but I definitely don't recall Without You being lauded on here, it was branded as very generic.
Anyway let's keep this about Rita
Lonely Together was popular before Avicii's passing for sure! I certainly always loved it.
Avicii's passing didnt change my opinion of the song, i found it enjoyable before the sad news broke.
Lonely Together got me on first spin. Such a magical song!
Lonely Together i liked almost immediately, For You took longer but i do slightly prefer it to Lonely Together.
Ready for the Top 10, guys? Any predictions or hopes for which song will come 10th? Will be posted this evening!
10 For You
9 IWNLYD
tnx bye
10 7.62 For You (Liam Payne & Rita Ora) [one 11]
Hot right now: Bré (11)
R.I.P. to the bullshit: Cqmerqn, LMLou (0)
Rita's collaboration with Liam Payne lands at #10! For You was recorded for the soundtrack of the movie Fifty Shades Freed, and was released in January 2018. After entering at #11, it eventually climbed to its peak of #8 in its sixth week of availability, and remained in the top 10 for four weeks! For You is certified gold in the UK. It notably reached #1 in Germany, where a CD single was made available! The duo performed together at the 2018 Brit Awards.
About right for For You! Great song and by far Liam's best as a solo artist.
The hell was I doing giving that a 6?
I love For You
There’s definitely not 9 Rita singles what I’d say are better than it I actually think it should be higher
For You is great! Definitely a career highlight for Liam. The POWER of associating with Rita!
For You is the best Liam song to date, none of his other releases are within a throw of it.
A very beige song.
09 7.62 R.I.P. (Rita Ora feat. Tinie Tempah) [two 11's]
Hot right now: HarryEzra, Cody Burnett (11)
R.I.P. to the bullshit: Tawdry Hepburn (1)
Up next is Rita's first single as lead artist. 'R.I.P' is a storming debut. So much attitude and really hits hard! It's really quite under appreciated in all honesty. It cleverly samples Nneka - Heartbeat and the song is just such a fiery and fierce song that just delivers on each and every listen. One of my absolute faves from her and it scored her, her 2nd UK #1 single! SMASH!
R.I.P. was a brilliant debut single - high quality and it stood out, though she's topped it loads since! I'd have put it a little lower actually, but it's still great.
'R.I.P' is just god-awful noise to me.
8 7.94 Your Song
Hot right now: Feel_The_Fever (11)
R.I.P. to the bullshit: Dobbo (0)
Rita's comeback single in 2017, co-written by Ed Sheeran of course, kicked off the Phoenix era in style. Peaking at #7 and becoming Rita's biggest selling track (of course, until later that year), Your Song proved that Rita could still achieve a hit single after Body On Me's disappointing performance over 18 months before. The track has always seemed to get a lukewarm response on Buzzjack, but obviously its fans came out to support it in this rate, receiving only 4 scores less than 7!
YS should be around no5
About right for Your Song for me (if not too high)
It wasn't my fave when it first came out, but 'Your Song' deffo grew on me so this position seems fair.
I always had a bit of a soft spot for 'Your Song'.
YS is cute. But I'm kinda bored of it now. I'd have preferred a few other tracks in the top 10 over it, personally.
EDIT: Also, Ritual still being in *.* S L A Y !!
Your Song is one of her top end singles.
7 8.07 Black Widow Iggy Azalea feat. Rita Ora
Hot right now: Nick F1, George.keh, Josh, Cqmerqn, JosephStyles, Calum, Jay, Cody Burnett (10)
R.I.P. to the bullshit: Feel_The_Fever, Rhoda Camel (5)
Next up is Rita's collaboration with Iggy Azalea! The release of Black Widow directly followed on from Iggy's huge US #1 hit Fancy, and thankfully the huge success continued. This hit #3 in the US, making it Rita's biggest hit there to date! The track was co-written by Katy Perry and was originally intended for her own album Prism. Its lyrical theme is regarding revenge following on from a failed relationship.
Ohhh, well that explains Black Widow sounding so similar to Dark Horse! I'm trying to imagine both of those ending up on Prism
LOVE Black Widow, did from my very first listen! Video is incredible too
I enjoy Black Widow, but, i think i like it more now than when it was released.
6 8.18 Doing It Charli XCX feat. Rita Ora
Hot right now: ...ready for it, blacksquare (11) | Jade, Jase, George.keh, Bre, Josh!, Joe, Jay, Cremey, Rhoda Camel (10)
R.I.P. to the bullshit: Dobbo (0), LMLou (1)
Just missing out on the top 5 is Rita's first collaboration with Charli XCX, 'Doing It'. This went on to be a big top 10 hit for them, peaking at #8 and going Silver. It's a delicous slice of pop. Hooks and melodies galore. I'm surprised to research it didn't do anything in the US... I assumed it was a low BBH100 hit for them, but nope. Deserved better tbh.
Prob came in the right place.
J'adore One of Charli & Rita's very best singles... I'd definitely have it within Rita's top 5 here.
It's an enjoyable bop, but I don't exactly return to it that often.
I remember at the time being glad it made the top 10 though, I wasn't sure it would with how messily the release/pre-order situation played out.
Still goes off *.* my favourite Charli song!
The big top 5 ahead.
I look forward to how it turns out now.
Doing It a bit to high, actually way to high. I would put it in top 16 - 20
5 8.32 Ritual (Tiësto, Jonas Blue & Rita Ora)
Hot right now: Frenchie (11)
R.I.P. to the bullshit: Jade, blacksquare (6)
Amazingly, Rita's most recent single is already a big Buzzjack fave! Peaking at #24, Ritual became a slow-burning hit over the summer and autumn, and saw Rita team up with two huge names in dance - Tiësto and Jonas Blue. It received an #11 from Frenchie, and no score lower than a 6!
A bop! Did not expect this to do so well in this rate. It deserved so more in the charts!
so bad that it missed top 20 in uk, but still it was decent hit.
I enjoy it a fair bit, I'm not sure it's top 5 worthy though.
I don’t mind Ritual but I never gravitated towards it in the same way some many on here seemed to. The chorus is good but the drop not so much
Ritual is incredible. Still sounds SO good after all these plays. I am stunned it managed to go top 5, but SO pleased
Ritual is so good and it is welcoming that it has made the final 5 here.
Ritual is good, def a grower of a song.
Ritual deserved to be way bigger in the UK charts than #24 Glad it’s very appreciated here!
Next result coming soon!
Its Number 24 peak is disappointing but it had a good chart run that helped build sales.
It did have a midweek Top 20 place at 1 point but slipped back
4 8.51 Lonely Together (Avicii feat. Rita Ora)
Hot right now: Cqmerqn, danG (11), Nick F1, SamJudd, Doug, Liam, JosephStyles, Calum, HarryEzra, Jay, Cody Burnett, Cremey, Rhoda Camel (10)
R.I.P. to the bullshit: Tawdry Hepburn (3), LMLou, Jack (5)
Rita's collaboration with the late Swedish DJ Avicii was a hugely successful single in the UK, Ireland, Hungary & Sweden, achieving top 5 peaks in these countries. It served as the second single from Avicii's EP Avīci (01), and was eventually included on Rita's second studio album Phoenix. Lonely Together was the final single released by Avicii before his tragic death in April 2018. Rita has since paid tribute to Avicii when she performs this song at festivals and on tour.
Absolutely adore Lonely Together, such a special song
Overrated.
He’s being facetious x
top 5 for Lonely Together is a great result, wasn't sure if it'd make it.
easily my fave Rita track and one of my faves of Avicii's also.
Great to see this so high, i know many people do not favour the song but it placed fairly on the countdown.
Really enjoy lonely together but think I prefer ritual now.
'Lonely Together' is seriously dull as f***. Also that vocal editing.
I have read many posts with people referring to the song as dull but i don't feel it is dull at all.
It's overrated, and I don't like her vocal treatment on it.
LT is flawless and rightfully in top 5
I find Lonely Together rather dull too oops
Lonely Together always had a mixed response on the forum.
3 8.87 Let You Love Me
Hot right now: Doug, Joe, Calum, Rhoda Camel, Jack (11), NickF1, SamJudd, Frenchie, ...ready for it, JosephStyles, Jay, Cody Burnett, Feel_The_Fever, Jordan Lee (10)
R.I.P. to the bullshit: Bre (1), Jade (5)
Into the top 3 we go and in 3rd place is the mid-tempo SMASH 'Let You Love Me'. I like this song, a lot (I gave it 8.5), but I can't help but shake the feel it's a tad overrated *eyes* Lovely song though. Probs about 7th for me in this rate, so it's a tad too high for my liking, but I see the appeal! It went on to be a huge smash for her, which at the time was so much more appreciated and welcome due to the major under performance of 'Girls' just before it. The production is lush on this!
Gah another awful Jonjo opinion to quote back when I demote him x
Let You Love Me is absolutely glorious, that final chorus!!!
Such a good song! I liked how this continued the vibe of the era after 'Your Song' and 'Anywhere'. Really hoping she can make some more hits like this for her next album.
SHOULDA GIVEN ME I WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN TO WRITE UP ABOUT THEN BITCH.
Oh and the top 2 is ofc Anywhere vs I Will Never Let You Down... which song is gonna win? Both incredible
I actually prefer Let You Love Me to Anywhere!
Good track but not top 3 worthy. Speaking of which neither is Anywhere, hoping for a IWNLYD victory.
I really like let you love me, in fact the top 5 has been great.
Definitely deserving top 3
Maybe top 2
Anywhere ftwww
I feel like we have the correct top 3!
I do love 'Let You Love Me' a lot, and being there to see her record it for Xmas TOTP last year was a special moment.
Let You Love Me, took time to grow, but i very much enjoy the track now.
2 9.28 I Will Never Let You Down
Hot right now: Dobbo, Josh, Tawdry Hepburn, Jonjo (11), Jαsє, George.keh, SamJudd, Frenchie, Joe, JosephStyles, Calum, Jay, Cody Burnett, Cremey, LMLou, Riser, Jack (10)
R.I.P. to the bullshit: …ready for it (6)
We're almost there...!! Before we talk about the winner, let's look at the runner up. I Will Never Let You Down was originally intended to be the lead for Rita's second studio album, said to be produced by then-boyfriend Calvin Harris. This was the first of those tracks, and it smashed in at #1 in the UK, but her split with Calvin led to sourness between the two and Rita was forced to scrap the album. However, I Will Never Let You Down remains a huge fan favourite, as evidenced by those incredible scores!!
Booooo Hissssss. That should have won, she'll never top that.
Such a good song! Imagine what that album could have been like
OMG
JOSEPH LITERALLY FIXED THE RESULTS!!
THE SPREADSHEET I GOT GIVEN HAD THAT AS THE WINNER. OMGOMGOMG.
FIRE HA!!!!!!!!
#DownWithJoseph
#NotReallyTheWinner #ButItShouldveBeen
Deffo her 2nd best song. The correct top 2 in a rate for once, proud of us Buzzjack!
I expected this to do well on this countdown but thankfully not well enough to dethrone her best ever release.
I wonder what has won find out soon x ( sorry for the delay)
I Will Never Let You Down is good but not good enough to be top 2! It’s more like her 5th best or something for me.
Anywhere deserved the win
But Let You Love Me is definitely her second best for me now.
LMAO JAY!!
FFS
1 9.79 Anywhere
Hot right now: Nick F1, pippa, Jαsє, George.keh, SamJudd, JosephStyles, Jay, Feel_The_Fever, Riser, RobBob, Jordan Lee (11), Frenchie, …ready for it, Doug, Joe, Cqmerqn, Calum, HarryEzra, Cody Burnett, Cremey, Tawdry Hepburn, blacksquare, Jonjo, danG (10)
R.I.P. to the bullshit: Dobbo (5), Bré (7)
Everyone act surprised! Anywhere is BuzzJack's favourite Rita Ora single! What a triumphant moment in Rita's career. It was a huge hit in the UK, where it peaked at #2 for three weeks (Camila Cabello - Havana denied Rita a moment at the top ). It also certified 2x Platinum. Rita said this of the song: "Anywhere" is a love song about escapism and "having a desperation of wanting to break free from whatever it is you're going through."
The Number 1 i wanted on this chart.
Such a perfect pop song! Very deserving of winning this. Also a really amazing top 5.
Will never understand the fuss over it but even a -1 wouldn't have made a difference so can't begrudge it the victory here.
Anywhere is an absolutely perfect pop song such a triumph!
