Looks like Adele will be doing the double, the only new single will come from Nathan Sykes 'Over And Over Again' and other tracks from Adele's new album... help me now please. Nothing much else to write about. Well... it doesn't take rocket science who is going to be #1 in the album chart next week Adele has the #1 album in the bag, she can't really miss. Other new album releases from Enya 'Dark Sky Island', Benjamin Clementine 'At Least For Now', Tracy Chapman 'Greatest Hits', Newton Faulker 'Human Love' and NOW 92. |

Wow that's fantastic. Can she push for 600k? I'd imagine she's going to have a pretty stellar weekend for sales, especially after the BBC special. Really pleased for her. Now I'm dying to see the US numbers.

QUOTE @MintRoyale: I hope Adele wasn't banking on album sales paying for her Christmas, she only managed to sell 313,000 copies in the UK yesterday.

Gobsmacked, and I'm not sure why because it's Adele...but 313k in a DAY, in 2015's album climate, without streaming included...

I think we'll be looking at 600 - 800k at the end of the week. Jesus I just saw the actual figure. That is amazing. 700k is pretty much a certainty then as she's bound to shift at least 200k today too. Will Oasis' record finally be broken? 313k in ONE DAY!? Is it already the fastest selling album of all time (if we're going on how much they sold in one day)? I thought it'd do well but not THAT well. Incredible.
It's locked on for at least 700k by the end of the week, surely? |

I didn't expect that much seeing as how poor album sales have been this year
