That was Aurora, close enough laugh.gif Au/Ra is the girl who had a hit with 'Panic Room' with some help from CamelPhat in 2018, one of my favourite top 40 hits of that year <3

pretty sure Au/Ra is German although she was born in Spain. Her parents are German,
her dad was part of this dance act from around 2000 called York that had a couple hits, one was with ATB, but can't recall the names of the songs ohmy.gif

Oh wow, what a nice bit of trivia. York's "On the Beach" is one of my fave all time dance records!

oh yes that's a Chris Rea cover
Her wiki page doesn't mention York being her dad but she explained it in an interview I watched a while ago
thats why she was born in ibiza cos her dad was a DJ working there

Her parents are German but she grew up in Antigua! She's called Antigua 'home' on Facebook posts as well which puts in a good argument for that being her 'nationality'.

(the last time she charted I put her as UK as I thought she lived here but not too sure now unsure.gif )

Hmm I'm undecided on that clip, it sounds like it could build into something better though? It does have that very straight forward 'not messing around' beat like You Don't Know Me and Breathe do which are both bangers so it could do good. I just think the instrumental might need a bit more personality as Au/Ra isn't the most charismatic vocalist compared to Raye and Ina.

Also wasn't expecting Jax to be rocking a string vest, go off non-stereotypical DJ!
