I was already going to see this based on Jennifer Lawrence's name alone but I thought the trailer was pretty boring and uneventful to be honest. It's giving me Atomic Blonde vibes and I wasn't really a fan of that |

New TV spot from the Super Bowl:
Can't say I'm massively excited for this to be honest and I usually love Jennifer Lawrence... It's giving me Atomic Blonde vibes which I kinda disliked |

I'm so hyped. I love J-Law & that's a really good spot! I hope this is good and I think it could be (iirc the review embargo is being lifted very early which shows good signs of confidence in the film *.*)

This was going to be an 18 but is now a 15 after cuts in one scene were made.
QUOTE "The company was advised the film was likely to be classified 18 but that their preferred 15 could be achieved by making reductions in one scene of strong sadistic violence (a garroting)," the BBFC said.
"When the film was submitted for formal classification appropriate reductions had been made in that scene and the film was classified 15." This post has been edited by _jase: Feb 25 2018, 11:37 PM |

This is basically the origin story of Black Widow with a few tiny changes and then to make matters worse they have J-Law in it.

Not yet. Hopefully the weekend for me. But I've heard very good things about Game Night!

I'll probably see both tbh, there's so many good films coming out lately. 2017 cinema can't relate.

I enjoyed this, it felt a lot more cohesive than the reviews seem to be suggesting.
It did slightly drag at times and didn't really add to much I hadn't seen before but it was still very intriguing and worth watching. A solid 8/10 for me. (Although I did prefer Game Night which I also saw this weekend). |

I watched it this weekend and I liked it too.
Yeah, there's too much violence in this film, but I couldn't take off my eyes from the screen. Jennifer Lawrence's body is fantastic there. |

(People who have seen it)
Is it VERY violent? I get really uncomfortable with gore etc but I really want to see the film |

Yeah. Quite a bit of nudity too.
It wasn't what I expected (or wanted) tbh. I thought she'd be a lot more kick ass/more Black Widow/Atomic Blonde type of spy thriller. But it just plodded on for the sake of plodding along I felt. Some scenes were good, but I didn't find the story particularly thrilling or exciting personally. |

I'm really surprised but I ended up loving this! I didn't actually feel it dragged that much at all considering it's running time

So yeah this was really good!! J-Law really perfected the role and was amazingly cold. I was hooked in throughout *.*
