I'm not feeling too enthusiastic about another castle series, the trials felt very repetitive after a while last year in a way they haven't done in the past. I hope they manage to keep it interesting (though much of the entertainment comes from the interactions between the cast anyway, plus Ant & Dec of course)

Might as well create a new thread seeing as the casting rumours come in from August.

It's been announced earlier today that the series will return to Wales, due to uncertainty as to whether they will be able to go to Australia. I think I'd rather have it in the jungle, but hopefully this will allow them to plan more for the series - some of the trials became quite dull towards the end of the series.

For me it usually depends on the line up anyway.

Saying that last years series did get flat very quickly... but not helped by the editing forever focussing on Jordan Mel B.png

The Sun are reporting that Arlene Phillips is the first celeb to be signed, which at 78 would make her the oldest contestant ever!

Ant & Dec said a while ago they had to have the highlights show due to 'Covid protocols', but I'm not exactly sure what sort of thing that would have consisted of.
