24th Ed Sheeran - Don't [37 points]
23rd Coldplay - Magic [89 points] 22nd Clean Bandit - Real Love [107 points] 21st Meghan Trainor - All About That Bass - [121 points] Kicking us off way down in last place we have Ed Sheeran with Don't, his second single from x. Ed and Coldplay both qualified directly from group C, lucky to be in what was generally seen as a weak group so it's not really a surprise that they make up the bottom two. Ed won out by a single point in the group but Coldplay come out above him in the final. Clean Bandit cross 100 points with Real Love, after coming 2nd in the additional group K. I personally prefer it to other Jess Glynne collab, Rather Be, which is still to come (maybe it'll be in our next batch ). Newcomer Meghan Trainor is next, she narrowly qualified direct from group I and as my least favourite song in the final I'm pleased to see it missing the top 20. Any general predictions for the top 20? 6th/7th/8th finished very tightly with 261/260/259 points and first place falls just short of 400 points. |

Oops at 'Don't' and 'Magic', although in retrospect they were both extremely lucky to make it so no surprise really The margin Ed is last by though.

Ed really was lucky to make it ~ AATB missing the top twenty is a travesty but I didn't vote so I don't really have a right to complain.

Shocked but glad to see Real Love so low, it's very nothingy to me. Ed should be much higher!

Yeah Don't doesn't deserve last. And All About That Bass should be WAY higher (but considering it's so divisive it's not a shock to see it there either...)

20th Duke Dumont - I Got U [146 points]
19th Sigma feat. Paloma Faith - Changing [161 points] 18th Charli XCX - Boom Clap [171 points] 17th Lilly Wood & Robin Schulz - Prayer In C [181 points] 16th Sigma - Nobody To Love [186 points] A bunch dominated by dance and double Sigma with the better of the two (in my opinion) coming out on top. All songs here were runners up in their respective groups. Some of these feel like they 'should' be higher/top 15 but this is meant to be the créme de la créme. Paloma still has another entry to come with both songs that qualified via the wildcard/second chance round making the top 15! |

I'm a huge dance music fan but Boom Clap is the best song in that bunch.

Thank god I Got U is quite low, horribly overrated song.
I do love Boom Clap and Changing though <3 |

I thought Charli would be a lot higher! First one I've lost out of my top 10 though.

15th Rita Ora - I Will Never Let You Down [191 points]
14th Paloma Faith - Only Love Can Hurt Like This [195 points] 13th Ariana Grande feat. Zedd - Break Free [198 points] 12th Katy Perry feat. Juicy J - Dark Horse [208 points] 11th Taylor Swift - Shake It Off [211 points] Our two 'second chance' qualifiers are found here, landing in 12th and 14th. Well, Katy and Paloma *were* in a group with Rather Be and Ghost after all. Ariana is our second group winner to appear with another entry still to appear, ditto Taylor. 15th place is occupied by upcoming Voice coach Rita Ora, we're still waiting on that follow-up. The top 10 in alphabetical order: Ariana Grande feat. Iggy Azalea - Problem Beyoncé feat. Jay Z - Drunk In Love Clean Bandit feat. Jess Glynne - Rather Be Ella Henderson - Ghost G.R.L. - Ugly Heart Iggy Azalea feat. Charli XCX - Fancy Katy B - Crying For No Reason Kiesza - Hideaway Sia - Chandelier Taylor Swift - Blank Space |

I'd really thought Shake It Off was going to win this, Paloma Faith seems so low for a brilliant track, the Beyonce track is awful and its top 10 really people...
I hope Ghost or Rather Be wins, I be happy with either of the 2. |

Wanted Rita & the GOOD Ariana track in the top 10 but never mind.
Kiesza to win! (failing that then Iggy/Charli) This post has been edited by Dobbo: 30th December 2014, 10:13 PM |

Anything but Kiesza to win. Ridiculously overrated. It's not awful, it's just like... 6/10 at best.
Ghost and problem are my two faves from that list so one of those please, but I really like them all except Kiesza. DIL is overrated within Bey's discography too tbh. |
