Band Aid 30 - Do They Know It's Christmas? (2014) [ 7 ] ** [17.07%]
Take That - These Days [ 6 ] ** [14.63%] Olly Murs feat. Travie McCoy - Wrapped Up [ 7 ] ** [17.07%] Taylor Swift - Blank Space [ 8 ] ** [19.51%] Ed Sheeran - Thinking Out Loud [ 2 ] ** [4.88%] James Newton Howard - The Hanging Tree [ 1 ] ** [2.44%] Blonde feat. Melissa Steel - I Loved You [ 2 ] ** [4.88%] Union J - You Got It All [ 0 ] ** [0.00%] Ella Henderson - Yours [ 8 ] ** [19.51%] something else I'm a bit blank on predicting these days. I'm all wrapped up in sales/streaming/performance data but thinking out loud it's probably going to be Blank Space, if streaming declusion doesn't stop it hanging off a tree. Ed has got all the streaming favour though, but hopefully it's yours Taylor (Sorry Ella I tried but couldn't fit you in ) This post has been edited by SNOWING ADAM: 29th November 2014, 08:22 PM |

OM as he has Live Lounge and This Morning. Not sure Live Lounge will have much impact but a This Morning performance could definitely make his chances of #1 even more secure (unless Ella just steamrolls everyone from the XF effect of course). ~ How many other weeks could you do a poll like this and have 5 different songs being predicted by 7/8 people to get #1? The most wide open week in absolutely ages! |

Ed Sheeran's case just got a lot stronger, back up to #2 on iTunes and will be #1 any moment

Ed Sheeran Olly Murs stop performing these overrated songs please! You've sold enough already, give the likes of Taylor/Clean Bandit a chance!

Changed my mind, Ed Sheeran (sadly).

"Thinking Out Loud" is spending its fifth consecutive week atop the streaming chart today so I'd argue it's pretty popular and not that shocking if it were to reclaim #1 on the combined chart.
That said - I still think that Olly has a reasonable chance, especially as his streaming should be close to peaking next week (third week on the chart). |

I don't think many people would argue that 'Thinking Out Loud' isn't 'pretty popular'...

So why would you 'LOL' if it went back to #1 then? Hardly unexpected as you quite rightly state.

I think its between Take That and Ed Sheeran for number one
Band Aid might climb back to number one once the physical release is out |

Not a single vote for Union J so far - but it's now starting to potentially look like a toss up between them and Ed (who also had barely any votes until after Ben's XF performance)
Ella's XF performance doesn't seem to be having a particularly strong effect so far surprisingly. |
