156. Spice Girls - Headlines (Friendship Never Ends) - Average Rating 4.71
157. Destiny Child - With Me - Average Rating - 4.63
158. Sugababes - Freedom - Average Rating - 4.44
159. Little Mix - Word Up - Average Rating - 4.33
160. Stooshe - Waterfalls - Average Rating - 3.92

Poor Stooshe. Following the success of 'Black Heart' things were looking to be a success for the album as they had radio supporting them and two top 10 singles! Their label decided to mess things up dramatically for them by releasing a cover of 'Waterfalls' which just made the top 20 but dropped out the chart at a comical speed, It would have been interesting to see how the campaign would have went had 'Slip' been released. Stooshe are still together and released a song at the start of the year which never bothered to trouble the top 1,500 on iTunes despite a reasonable budgeted video.

Talking about poor decisions by management 'Word Up' is up their as a stupid choice. 'Word Up' successfully managed to go top 10 but halted the momentum of 'Salute' which we could have got another one or two singles from had 'Word Up' not been released.

The less we talk about 'Freedom' the better, it was promoted as a single and was originally meant to be released during All Fired Up v All About Tonight but due to next to no pre-orders the single was cancelled. 'Freedom' deserved to be a top 20 peak.

The final Spice Girls song for Children In Need was the disappointing / unremarkable 'Headlines' which thankfully despite peaking top 10 underperformed with it's underwhelming chart position

Posted by: Ultraviolence1989 5th April 2016, 07:28 PM

Love Waterfalls and it's a fantastic cover, but it was such a stupid decision to release it, especially when they had Slip! But it so shouldn't be last place sad.gif
Also love Word Up, such a jam and a great charity cover wub.gif

With Me out already blink.gif

no losses as far as the rest are concerned. Would have liked to have seen Word Up finish a bit higher, but otherwise

Posted by: JosephStyles 5th April 2016, 08:31 PM

Headlines gets a hard time I think but the others aren't a loss at all. Haim to start losing songs next pls

151. Destiny Child - Get On The Bus (Average Rating 4.94)
152. Girls Aloud - I Think We're Alone Now (Average Rating 4.94)
153. Stooshe - My Man Music (Average Rating 4.81)
154. Stooshe - Lockdown (Average Rating 4.80)
155. Neon Jungle - Can't Stop The Love (Average Rating 4.78)

Finishing at #155 and peaking higher than the song itself is 'Can't Stop The Love' which clearly deserved so much better, I was disappointed to see this perform the way that it did because whether I like to admit or not, this song is an absolute tune. 'Can't Stop The Love' was released following the album release and despite it being a fans favourite, commercially it done nothing which resulted into Neon Jungle being dropped from their record label.

Double Stooshe is never a good sign, although seeing them drop out of a countdown so early is always satisfying. 'Lockdown' and 'My Man Music' both performed abysmally in not only this but in the official charts which makes me surprised that they've not been dropped yet. Stooshe only have three songs left in this countdown and currently have more songs eliminated than any other girlband, can 'Black heart' make the top 100?

We have a Girls Aloud song which means The Saturdays, Pussycat Dolls , Fifth Harmony, G.R.L & All Saints are the only artists to have no songs drop out as of yet. I'm surprised to see this the lowest rated Girls Aloud single because I think it's one of their better songs, It received two negative ones which has resulted into it being this low with NickF1 providing it a high score of 10.

Posted by: JosephStyles 5th April 2016, 08:50 PM

I Think We're Alone Now may not be GA's best but it's waaaaay too low drama.gif

Posted by: Ultraviolence1989 5th April 2016, 08:56 PM

So many of my favourites going already sad.gif
Can't Stop The Love is in my top 2 Neon Jugle tracks, great song and a really nice track!
Love both Stooshe ones, even if they are the two weakest singles they have released, hope we get something soon despite the horrific flopping!
I think we're alone now is also a really fun cover heart.gif

I Think We're Alone Now doesn't deserve to be this low blink.gif

We have a Girls Aloud song which means The Saturdays, Pussycat Dolls , Fifth Harmony, G.R.L & All Saints are the only artists to have no songs drop out as of yet.

Hello?

Unsurprisingly, no relevant losses so far.

Posted by: LeeWallace 5th April 2016, 09:33 PM

146. All Saints - Chick Fit (Average Rating 5.20)
147. Fifth Harmony - I'm In Love With a Monster (Average Rating 5.15)
148. Sugababes Feat Girls Aloud - Walk This Way (Average Rating 5.13)
149. Little Mix - Cannonball (Average Rating 5.01)
150. Sugababes - New Year (Average Rating 4.96)

Finishing at #150 and kicking start the new batch is Sugababes and their ever so irrelevant single 'New Year', I'll be the first to admit that I know next to nothing about 'New Year' but I'm guessing it's a song about new year, new me etc and was no doubt released in January - March, I anticipate Jay to come and tell me otherwise.

Poor Little Mix, two songs out in three batches, 'Cannonball' is arguably one of the biggest underperformances of an X Factor winner with the song selling nowhere near the amount as previous winners, I'd like to think Little Mix were lucky as they were in a season where almost all of the contestant were shit, I mean... where is Marcus Collins now? 'Cannonball' still successfully managed to go to number one and has made them the biggest girlgroup since The Saturdays retired x

FLOP THIS WAY, FLOP THIS WAY, JUST GIMMIE A FLOP. We all know that I'm 'Notorious' for calling songs flops but despite this slaying incredibly hard in the chart, I will always call this a flop due to it's overall sales and chart run. 'Walk This Way' is a cover of the ever so successful Aerobar which achieved much more chart success than the cover.

Finishing at #147 is the first Fifth Harmony song to drop out, 'I'm In Love With A Monster' could be seen as a 'More Than This' release, it was sent for radio adds, promoted a little bit and had an official video, does that make a single? Lets ask Joseph. Thankfully we still have a couple of sick tunes by Fifth Harmony coming up, can 'Worth It' or 'Work From Home' win?

Posted by: SevenSeize 5th April 2016, 09:37 PM

Did someone say predictions? ohmy.gif

1 - Higher (or basically any Sats single (except 'Up' since that's the best one))
2 - About You Now
3 - Ego
4 - Sound of the Underground
5 - Buttons (or another PCD single I don't know)
6 - Black Magic
7 - All Fired Up
8 - Work from Home
9 - DNA
10 - Ugly Heart

far too low - all the Haim songs

Posted by: JosephStyles 5th April 2016, 09:39 PM

Chick Fit is really good sad.gif I bet people would like it more if it wasn't such a flop.

141. Spice Girls - Let Love Lead The Way (Average Rating 5.43)
142. Stooshe - Love Me (Average Rating 5.41)
143. The Saturdays - Gentleman (Average Rating 5.26 / More 10's)
144. Girls Aloud - See The Day (Average Rating 5.26)
145. Sugababes - Soul Sound (Average Rating 5.24)

Finishing at #145 and #144 are two songs that almost nobody knows, they somehow managed to defeat 'Headlines' poor Jay. I would go into discussion about both songs but I know that they're not very good so lets talk about a decent song! At #143 we have a song that peaked at #14 in the charts selling 34,000 which would be enough for top 5 in todays current climate. 'Gentleman' was the third single from 'Living For The Weekend following the massive success of 'What About Us'. 'Gentleman' was the first single to not being provided with A-List support from BBC Radio 1 and to this date I believe ruined any momentum that The Saturdays had created.

Screeeeeeeeeeeeeech. At #142 we have another terrible Tooshe song, I'm aware that I called them Tooshe but the spelling emphasises that they're to irrelevant for this chart. 'Love Me' had a guest feature of Travie McCoy and somehow managed to go top 10 in the official charts which still to this date makes me question the British public.

Finally the final song of the night is another Spice Girls song 'Let Love Lead The Way' which has thankfully not performed that well. #Pray4Jay

136. All Saints - All Hocked Up (Average Rating 5.76)
137. Neon Jungle - Trouble (Average Rating 5.66)
138. Sugababes - Girl (Average Rating 5.57)
139. All Saints - Lady Marmalade (Average Rating 5.54)
140. Sugababes - Follow Me Home (Average Rating 5.47)

What a disappointing bunch of songs, I mean the next batch will cause some major explosions and major meltdowns from two members so I anticipate the next batch! The only two noteworthy songs in this batch is the DREADFUL Sugababes single 'Girls' which deserved my -1 as it's easily one of their worst songs that performed well in the official charts. Finishing at #137 is another Neon Jungle song 'Trouble' which is indeed their second worst single, who will have all their songs to drop out first, Stooshe or Neon Jungle?

I don't know a lot about All Saints but what cheap bitches doing 'Lady Marmalade' burn them to the stakes.

131. All Saints- Bootie Call (Average Rating 5.87)
132. Sugababes - Angels With Dirty Faces (Average Rating 5.86)
133. Little Mix Feat Missy Elliot - How Ya Doin? (Average Rating 5.86)
134. Fifth Harmony - Miss Movin On (Average Rating 5.8)
135. Girls Aloud - Beautiful Cause You Love Me (Average Rating 5.78)

Completing the ACTUAL final batch of the night are Sugababes and All Saints, as I previously stated I don't know an awful lot about All Saints, so I'll pass the commentary over if they're lucky enough to manage to get any songs in the top 30. Thankfully all the old Sugababes songs are dropping at a rather comical speed.

Finishing at #133 is the duet between Little Mix and Missy Elliot which managed to get a top twenty peak within the UK, I'll happily admit looking back at the DNA era, I'm not a massive fan of anything minus 'DNA' which has even got a bit old for me which is a great shame, I wasn't really a fan of 'How Ya Doin?' so to see it finish this low is rather pleasing.

Finishing at #134 and I have no idea how is Fifth Harmony's debut single 'Miss Movin On', I wish a lot more pop hoes voted because all HAIM would be out and this would at least be 10 positions higher and maybe 'Headlines' would have finished bottom? kink.gif I'm disappointed to see 'Miss Movin On' missing the top 100 because it's such a strong pop uptempo song which deserved to do far better commercially worldwide.

Kicking start the batch is 'Beautiful Cause You Love Me' (mah baby, mah baby, mah baby) which was the final Girls Aloud single which peaked at the incredible chart position of #93 or #97? Regardles as Nicola screeches that the whole world can call her ugly, the public by responded by not purchasing the song. #Flop #ByeGirlsAloud

Thankfully we get rid of Irrelevant Saints and Get away Child in the latest batch! This batch is a bit non existent so I decided to get rid of this batch instead of opening with this on another day, I'll provide another five after this because we have another girl group who finally lose a song as well as maybe a surprising elimination? Will Stooshe and Neon Jungle avoid having a song being eliminated?

At #128 we have 'Get Sexy' which deserves commentary or maybe gifs on how I feel regarding this missing the top 100

125. Sugababes - No Can Do (Average Rating 6.0)

Finishing at #121 and the FINAL, I promise the actual final (melanie) song of the night is 'Little Me' which is the most overrated release by Little Mix, I provided it with a -1 because I despise it and it did not deserve any of the success it got, thankfully a lot of Buzzjack agreed.

Finishing at #122 are Pussycat Dolls with 'Wait A Minute' which features TImbaland (remember him?) meaning that only G.R.L And HAIM are the only artists to have songs left. 'Wait A Minute' is one of their worst songs so I'll gladly see it miss the top 100.

Fear not UV, despite the disappointment of 'Whole Lotta History', '30 Days' has finished at #123 due to trolls like yourself not appreciating the potato in the bin moment (oh oh oh oh). '30 Days' is a song that i don't hold in high in The Saturday's singles or discography but everytime I hear the song, I'll happily admit that I adore it.

Whole Lotta History is very iconic for the song at #124 because Girls Aloud are a whole lotta history! This single is such a basic trash of a release and I'm glad to see it finish so low, Strong support from Joe and Ultraviolance who both provided tens allowed this to do well in the GirlGroup single countdown.

Sugababes continue dropping a song out of almost every batch, 'No Can Do' doesn't deserve to be as high as #125 but due to strong support from Joe. it's successfully managed to beat 'Headlines' unless you've not seen the displeasure from Micheal or Jay?

This is already going so much better than expected with ENEMIES 30 Days and Whole Lotta History already dropped.

#117 title 'Run For Cover' is a perfect title for the reaction of the song finishing at #116. I'm only posting this batch for the reaction of Micheal, 'Hollier' did indeed flop incredibly hard in this Girlgroup Result, Poor Micheal, although I'm devestated regarding the flop of 'Just Can't Get Enough' which deserved to be a top 100 smash in this chart. 'Just Can't Get Enough' peaked at #2 in the official charts despite being a midweek #1, 'Just Can't Get Enough' deserved to be their first number one, I could only imagine how things would have been had they managed a #1 before the release of 'Wordshaker' I'm also disappointed by the performance for 'Wear My Kiss' which deserved top 100. How the f*** are HAIM continue to survive sad.gif

113. Pussycat Dolls - Hush Hush Hush Hush (Average Rating 6.53)
114. Haim - My Song 5 (Average Rating 6.521)
115. Destiny Child - Nasty Girl (Average Rating 6.520)

What do we want this summer? We want a Long Hot Summer! I'm actually rather surprised to see this finish so low as I thought it was adored by the Girls Aloud community, although if Joseph doesn't provide a Girls Aloud song with +8 you know it's not their best. Poor UV continues to stan the songs that are missing the top 100! Thankfully Totto never voted so we can all sit and hope that 'Higher' wins x

I mith mitthing you sometimes. I'm rather glad in someways that Hurriflop failed to vote in the single rate as I'm sure she would have ruined my life further by marking 'Missing You' down causing it to miss the top #120 and we all know that devil would have. 'Missing You' was involved in one of the most incredible, nail biting chart battles where The Saturdays were filmed celebrating that they were 4,000 ahead at the opening midweeks despite dropping to #3 on iTunes at a rather fast speed. 'Missing You' peaked at 98.9% on iTunes and fell after Flo Rida (Yet Again) performed on Daybreak the following morning.

I know what y'all are thinking if you've listened to Haim 'My Song 5', 'Hush Hush Hush' I agree. 'Hush Hush Hush' has finished at a respectable #113 and was the final Pussycat Dolls single before Nicole Scherzinger moved onto 6 different labels while only releasing two studio albums. 'Hush Hush Hush' sampled ' I Will Survive' and while it performed well worldwide, I don't think it's anywhere near their best so thankfully it's the second lowest Pussycat Dolls single.

cheer.gif cheer.gif cheer.gif The female equivalents of Jess Glynne have finally had a song be eliminated which delightfully means that G.R.L are the only artists left with a full batch of songs, can they all finish within the top 100 ohmy.gif. I wish I could provide an analysis of these DEMONS but I know their monotone voices are dreadful enough. I'd actually like to take this moment to shame you all for providing such loving, I mean this has managed to defeat some incredible songs and the fact that you've allowed all their singles to chart top 114 is disgraceful.

At #115 we have yet another Destiny Child dropout cheer.gif, I've only heard 'Nasty Girl' on a couple of occasions and I'm rather disappointed that it finished as high as 115 which is the reason that I provided it with a low score of 3, had I provided 'Holier' with anything higher it would have been top 115 (sorry Micheal). Commercially 'Nasty Girl' did not do well worldwide with it's best peak being #10 in Australia and failing to chart in the UK / USA.

My Song 5 is the least girlband-like song in this whole thing. It's so complex in its structure and that makes it sounds absolutely amazing. First one out of all of this I'd say is too low (although in truth I'd also say that for to Just Can't Get Enough, a very enjoyable cover, and Missing You, one of the greats from when the Sats were in their prime).

Posted by: Hurricane 6th April 2016, 01:43 AM

Sorry, It seems as if for a poster that half numbers were rounded up to a whole number which means it lost a total 0.5, it doesn't change much but puts it at #110 which will be sorted in the final scoreboard!

106. The Saturdays - If This Is Love (Average Rating 6.89)
107. Destiny Child - Soldier (Average Rating 6.73)
108. Girls Aloud - I'll Stand By You (Average Rating 6.72)
109. Pussycat Dolls Feat Missy Elliot - Watchya Think About That (Average Rating 6.66)
111 110. Sugababes - Shape (Average Rating 6.58)

While we continue with the girlband results which could unfortunately be the last until late tomorrow night / Friday evening, we begin with Sugababes 'Shape' which successfully manages to finish top #111 in the countdown which surprised me considering the success in the previous rate, I'm not a massive fan of 'Shape' and I'm not surprised to see it not being overly adored on the website, Poor Sugababes just have songs drop out batch after batch

At #109 we have one of the final Pussycat Dolls song which I'm glad has missed the top 100 as I personally find it overrated and nowhere near their best, 'Watchya Think About That' managed the devil average of 6.66 which never really surprised me as I could understand why it's adored by a fair amount on the website, Missy Elliot feature was not enough to ensure it was a worldwide smash as it underperformed worldwide with it failing to go near the top of the charts.

The only other song that's worth a discussion is The Saturday's debut single 'If This Is Love' which is far worse than any of their songs that have been eliminated so far, 'If This Is Love' somehow created a way for The Saturdays to succeed as the public were dying for a British Girlband and 'If This Is Love' managed to be a chart success going top 10 allowing 'Up' to continue their momentum.

Posted by: Jimmy Jam 7th April 2016, 01:11 AM

106-109 all good songs sad to see them miss the top 100. But have to agree ITIL definitely should have been out before 30 Days, Missing You, and JCGE...Though Forever Is Over should have finished below all of them mellow.gif

103. Destiny Child - Girl (Average Rating 6.74)
104. Girls Aloud - Life Got Cold (Average Rating 6.73)
105. Neon Jungle - Welcome To The Jungle (Average Rating 6.7)

Good News: We have all G.R.L tracks top 100 ohmy.gif
Bad News: We still have two Stooshe singles and only one Haim single has been eliminated.

Poor Jay will look at this last in disbelief that 'Mama' has finished #101 in the countdown despite only providing it with an 8 ohmy.gif Jay in this batch provided his highest score to The Saturdays's floptastic smash 'What Are You Waiting For'. I'm actually disappointed to see 'Mama' miss the top 100, only recently I have began appreciating how good the song is and the deep meaning behind the lyrics. I can understand why it's not considered the greatest Spice Girls single, however the bridge & Chorus is incredibly beautiful and easily one of their best choruses <3

Fanny eel is this. Finishing at #102 is the underrated and underappreciated smash which happened to be The Saturdays' final single. 'What Are You Waiting For' reached the dazzling heights of #38 in the official chart, spending one week top 100 and two weeks top 200 which means 'Gentleman' and '30 Days' outsold their combined total of 'What Are You Waiting For' and 'Not Giving Up' which really does brake my heart. 'What Are You Waiting For' was originally due to be on 'On Your Radar' and was written by Tove Lo.

Finishing at #104 is easily one of the most underappreciated Girls Aloud ballad 'Life Got Cold' which I would have preferred to have seen finish within the top 75. 'Life Got Cold' was the follow up to their debut single 'Sound Of The Underground', however it failed to go to #01 like 'Sound Of The Underground'. The Chorus of 'Life Got Cold' is everything wub.gif

Kicking start the batch is Neon Jungle's last successful single 'Welcome To The Jungle' which helped launch their debut album which helped them to go top 10 in the official charts, I'll always find it weird that Radio 1 Supported them following the success of 'Braveheart' while Capital stopped supporting them once Radio 1 began supporting them.

I'm surprised WAYWF made it this high. I listened to it for the first time in a while the other day and I realized it really is overproduced. Had they cut back on some of the production it might've fared a lot better.

Welcome to the Jungle is Neon Jungle's best song.

I'm glad 'Forever Is Over' made top 100.

96. Fifth Harmony - Bo$$ (Average Rating 6.89)
97. G.R.L Feat Pitbull - Wild Wild Love (Average Rating 6.85)
98. Sugababes - About A Girl 6.84)
99. G.R.L - Vacation (Average Rating 6.84)
100. Spice Girls - Too Much (Average Rating 6.82)

The final song in this batch is the song which could be described as the Free anthem had Froot agreed with myself. The release strategy of 'Boss' was an absolute mess with it doing well on pre-orders before the single release was cancelled them with the focus going on Sledegehammer before them changing back to 'Bo$$' for X Factor live shows. Everyday is payday, I swipe my card and I will always do the neigh-neigh (No leona does not feauture in any of these results. 'Bo$$' managed to receive multiple 10's with troll Seven providing it with a -1. It does make me sad that y'all have voted 'Sledgehammer' as better than 'Bo$$'.

Poor G.R.L, they successfully managed to be the only artist to have all their songs finishing in the top 100, however they've had two songs drop out in quick consecution, I think I would have put all G.R.L songs within my top 75 with maybe 'Lighthouse' finishing lower than 'Wild Wild Love and 'Vacation'. 'Wild Wild Love' introduced G.R.L to the universe as it successfully became their first top 10 as 'Ugly Heart' somehow JUST missed the top 10 due to streaming.

Finishing at #98 was the first Sugababe song which featured Jade Ewen. About a Girl" debuted on the 21 November 2009 issue of the UK Singles Chart at number eight, becoming the fourth-highest debut during that week and has became their thirteenth highest selling single. 'About A Girl' video featured Amelle's famous nip slip and I'll happily admit that I adored 'About A Girl' and was obsessed with Sweet 7 when it was first released with 'She's A Mess', 'Little Miss Perfect' and 'Little Miss Everything' being album highlights.

Finishing at a criminal position of #97 is a song that Robot introduced to me late last year and I couldn't be happier, 'Vacation' is such a euphoric pop tune which sadly done nothing worldwide, I mean bloody hell the video even features Mel B! Looking at 'Vacation' makes me realise how G.R.L and Fifth Harmony were marked in the exact same way at the start.

91. Little Mix - Change Your Life (Average Rating 6.94)
92. Neon Jungle - Louder (Average Rating 6.94
93. All Saints - I Know Where It's at (Average Rating 6.94)
94. Stooshe - Slip (Average Rating 6.92)
95. Pussycat Dolls Feat Will.i.am - Beep (Average Rating 6.91)

Thankfully 'Change Your Life' avoids finishing top 90, I mean it's not a bad ballad by any stretch of the imagination but I'm not overly sure that it deserves to even be as high as what it is? 'Change Your Life' was released as the third single from DNA and it became Little Mix's first single to miss the top 10. 'Change Your Life' was seen as an inspiration to many and was seen as awful to others. The video is nice though x

'Louder' was the fourth single released by Neon Jungle and was used to lead their debut album. 'Louder' peaked at #14 in the official charts despite managing A-List support by Radio 1. 'Louder' is an incredible pop ballad and I'll admit that it's position is rather justifiable, I'm not sure it should be top 75 but I'm glad it missed the top 100, this means that both Neon Jungle & Stooshe have one song left in the countdown.

'Slip' has eventually / thankfully slipped out. Stooshe somehow have managed two tracks top 100 in the countdown but with the elimination of 'Slip' it ensures they only have one song left in the countdown. 'Slip' was the final single for Stooshe that was commercially supported by radio peaking at #12 and was used to promote 'London With The Lights Off' which surprisingly peaked within the top 10.

I do give a f***, keep looking at mah, cos I'm going to do my thing when you play with your **, I'm astonished and disgusted to see 'Beep' finish as low as this, I consider 'Beep' to be one of the best Pussycat Dolls singles. Damn you Buzzjack.

86. Sugababes - Easy (Average Rating 7.18)
87. Pussycat Dolls - I Don't Need A Man (Average Rating 7.04)
88. Destiny Child - Emotion (Average Rating 7)
89. The Saturdays - Forever Is Over (Average Rating 6.96)
90. Destiny Child - Bug A Boo (Average Rating 6.95)

The development of "Easy" began when the American rock band Orson discovered that the Sugababes were working on the album, in which they proposed ideas for new tracks. They subsequently wrote the song with the group, and produced it. Backed by bass synthesizers, it is an uptempo pop and electro song that features metaphorical lyrical content containing sexual euphemisms. 'Easy' peaked at #8 in the official charts! It's starting to get sad to see Haim songs still not dropping out at a comical rate.

"I Don't Need a Man" is a song by American girl group The Pussycat Dolls from their debut studio album PCD (2005). The song was written and produced by Rich Harrison, with additional writing from Nicole Scherzinger and Kara DioGuardi. The song was released as the fifth single from the album. I Don't Need A Man, is not one my favourite PCD songs so I'm disappointed to see it managing to overcome 'Beep'. ' I Don't Need A Man' peaked at #7 in the United Kingdom and #93 in USA.

In 2001, "Emotion" was recorded by American R&B group Destiny's Child for their third studio album Survivor (2001). Produced and arranged by Mark J. Feist, it features a slower tempo than the Samantha Sang original, although a more uptempo Neptunes-produced remix of the song was also produced and included in the band's remix album This Is The Remix! 'Emotion' peaked at #3 in the UK and #10 in the USA.

What an awful, awful batch here that I could provide little commentary on tbh. Poor Samantha will be devestated to see 'Forever Is Over' drop out in the next batch following 'Slip' but without support from Jade, it was almost impossible for 'Forever Is Over' to reach the top 75. 'Forever Is Over' peaked at #2 in the official charts being defeated by Chipmunk on a single they were originally supposed to sing on. 'Forever Is Over' was apparently wanted by P!nk and Kelly Clarkson.

81. Destiny Child - Bills Bills Bills (Average Rating 7.23)
82. Haim - Forever (Average Rating 7.20)
83. Sugababes - Overload (Average Rating 7.19)
84. Sugababes - Caught In The Moment (Average Rating 7.19)
85. Girls Aloud - Wake Me Up (Average Rating 7.18)

"Bills, Bills, Bills" is a song by American girl group Destiny's Child. It was written by band members Beyoncé Knowles, LeToya Luckett, LaTavia Roberson, and Kelly Rowland along with Kandi Burruss of Xscape and Kevin "She'kspere" Briggs for their second album The Writing's on the Wall (1999), featuring production by the latter. Somehow this peaked at #1 in the official billboard which actually surprised me!

At #82 we have the disastorous Haim who have thankfully lost their second song, I wish I could discuss 'Forever' in full but any song by them is an absolute disaster. laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif 'Forever' peaked at #75 in the official charts laugh.gif and failed to chart anywhere else important. Flops.

Disappointed to see 'Caught In The Moment' dropping out earlier than other Sugababes singles because it's one of my favourite releases before they went 4.0 and began to release bangerz. 'Caught In The Moment' is an uptempo ballad which managed an #08 peak in the official charts.

I couldn't think the batches could get any worse but it seems that we're getting rid of the deadwood right now. Kicking start the next batch is Girls Aloud 'Wake Me Up' which managed a 10 from Liam & Sam Judd with it's lowest rating being 2 from Lotti, 'Wake Me Up' sucessfully managed to get Girls Aloud another top 10 single. I appreciate that 'Wake Me Up' is a decent single choice but I don't think it's personally good enough to be in the top 85 considering the amount of incredible tracks that we've already lost.

77. Sugababes - Red Dress (Average Rating 7.28)
78. Sugababes - Stronger (Average Rating 7.25)
79. The Saturdays - Work (Average Rating 7.24)
80. Spice Girls - Goodbye (Average Rating 7.23)

When I Grow Up, I wanna have boobies. When I Grow Up" is a song by American girl group The Pussycat Dolls from their second and final studio album Doll Domination (2008). It was released by Interscope Records on June 3, 2008, as the lead single from the album. "When I Grow Up" was their first single following the departure of the group's longest-standing member Carmit Bachar. It was first recorded for Nicole Scherzinger's planned solo project, Her Name Is Nicole, but after its cancellation and Scherzinger's return to the group, she felt that the song was better suited for the group. The single was received favorably by contemporary music critics, many of whom highlighted it as a stand-out. It peaked at number nine on the US Billboard Hot 100, becoming the group's highest charting single since "Buttons" (2006). The song has sold over two million digital copies in the United States, making the Pussycat Dolls the first female group in digital history to have three singles pass the two million mark in digital sales. The song reached the top-five in countries such as Australia, Canada, France, Ireland, New Zealand and the United Kingdom, and the top-ten in Austria, Denmark, Germany and Switzerland.

Finishing at #77 is arguably the worst Sugababes song 'Red Dress'. 'Red Dress' s a song by English girl group Sugababes from their fourth studio album, Taller in More Ways (2005). The group's members wrote the song in collaboration with its producers, the British songwriting and production team Xenomania, based on the perception that women must expose their body to be noticed "Red Dress" was released in the United Kingdom on 6 March 2006 as the album's third single peaking at an impressive #4 and is the first to feature vocals by Amelle Berrabah, following the departure of Mutya Buena in December 2005. The Sugababes performed a cover of the Arctic Monkeys' song "I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor" as the single's B-side.

Woah-oh-oh, can we ever forget the live performance when Mollie hit the incredible bum note? 'Work' was the first Saturdays' single that missed the top 10 peaking at a disappointing #22 although it would have been much higher had Michael Jackson not passed away (Kobbar teas). 'Work' was the beginning of The Saturdays' having messed up releases with it being promoted before changing to 'Just Can't Get Enough' followed by announcing it as single four and headlining their first tour.

Poor Jay, I can already tell he will be heartbroken that 'Goodbye' has finished as low as #80 while providing it with a 10 in his rate. Jay is busy singing 'Goodbye Buzzjack' because the poor hen is already close to having a breakdown with the current list of results. Goodbye" is a song recorded by British girl group Spice Girls. It was written by the Spice Girls, Richard Stannard and Matt Rowe, while it was produced by the latter two. The song became the group's first song without the vocals of Geri Halliwell. It was released by Virgin Records on 11 December 1998 as a Christmas single, along with the B-side, "Christmas Wrapping". 'Goodbye' peaked at #1 in the official charts and i'm disappointed to see it miss the top 75 because I adore it <3

71. Destiny Child - Jumpin Jumpin (Average Rating 7.6)
72. Sugababes - Change (Average Rating 7.4)
73. Haim - Don't Save Me (Average Rating 7.4)
74. The Saturdays - My Heart Takes Over (Average Rating 7.39)
75. Girls Aloud - Jump (Average Rating 7.29)

At 71 we have 'Jumpin, Jumpin', "Jumpin', Jumpin'" is a song by American girl group Destiny's Child. Written by band member Beyoncé along with Rufus Moore and Chad Elliott, and produced by Beyoncé, Elliott and Jovonn Alexander, it was released as the fourth and final single from the group's second studio album, The Writing's on the Wall (1999). 'Jumpin, Jumpin' peaked top five in the UK charts and top three in the US charts.

The song was listed at 232 on Pitchfork Media's Top 500 songs of the 2000s. This single also features the vocals of former band members Letoya Luckett, and Latavia Roberson, although absent from this video as well as the music video for "Say My Name".

Finishing at #72 is Sugababes 'Change'. "Change" is a song by English girl group Sugababes from their fifth studio album, Change (2007). It was written by the Sugababes, Niara Scarlett and its producers, the Danish production duo Deekay. The song was released as the album's second international and third overall single on 17 December 2007 with an accompanying B-side titled "I Can't Take It No More". "Change" is a midtempo pop ballad composed of anthemic harmonies, guitars, keys and sweeping effects. I'm not a massive fan of the song itself and a little surprised to see it finish as high as #72, thankfully it missed the top three by peaking at four in the official charts.

laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif Haim losing another song though :lol laugh.gif laugh.gif Don't Save Me" is a song by American rock band Haim. The song was released in the United Kingdom on November 8, 2012.[1] It was featured on their debut studio album, Days Are Gone, released in 2013. On December 23, 2012 the song entered the UK Singles Chart at number 74. On January 6, 2013 the song re-entered the UK Top 100 at number 51, climbing to number 32 the following week.

Finishing at #74 (although would have peaked 30 places higher had it done well as an official single) is 'My Heart Takes Over'. I'll never have any idea why 'My Heart Takes Over' failed to perform well comerically? 'My Heart Takes Over' became their first single to miss the top 10 pre album release as it peaked at an incredibly disapponting position of #14. I've always found myself connecting to the lyrics of 'My Heart Takes Over' and I think this ballad is better than any other recent ballad in comparison to other girl groups. The video is everything <3 and is shot in Iceland (The country that Brade constantly talk about) Look me in the eye, promise I won't cry this is your choice to make. sad.gif Even listening to this song now makes me feel sad / annoyed that it missed the top #50 and how it never performed as well as it should have.

In 2003, British girl group Girls Aloud covered "Jump" for the soundtrack to the romantic comedy film Love Actually (2003). Their version was produced by Brian Higgins and his production team Xenomania, recorded at the request of Love Actually director Richard Curtis. Upon its release in November 2003, "Jump" continued Girls Aloud's string of hits, peaking at number two on the UK Singles Chart. 'Jump' is a decent enough cover but I don't think it's worthy of a top 75 finish especially taking into consideration the amount of incredible songs that have already dropped out, although we still have one Stooshe song and all minus one Haim song left.

Don't Save Me/My Heart Takes Over/Jump should all be so much higher!

Don't Save Me is a fantastic song and one of Haim's best wub.gif
My Heart Takes Over has hit me so much over the last couple of years and is another beautiful ballad heart.gif
And Jump is such a fun cover!

66. G.R.L - Lighthouse (Average Rating 7.71)
67. Haim - If I Could Change Your Mind (Average Rating 7.62)
68. Sugababes - In The Middle (Average Rating 7.5)
69. Little Mix - Wings (Average Rating 7.46)
70. Pussycat Dolls - StickwitU (Average Rating 7.44)

There's three massive songs in the next two batches that will shock a lot of people, hold on tight. We might get the next 10 tonight!

I remember when I first heard 'Lighthouse', my immediate thought was that it was going to be a worldwide smash due to the message behind the song, I remember being gutted that Capital or no other radio station decided to support the song, the lyrics and video hit me hard within the first couple of weeks and I was addicted. The middle 8 is easily one of my favourite middle 8's in a girl group single 'I'll let it up, show you the way'. However as time progressed and I wasn't focusing on the death of Simone I realised that the song wasn't as good as I originally thought and it doesn't really go anywhere. If there wasn't a meaning behind the song, i would have predicted this to underperform worldwide. 'Lighthouse' was written and produced by Dr Luke and was the final song from G.R.L before they went their separate ways. It peaked at a criminal #55 in the official charts with it also charting at #30 in Australia. Poor G.R.L, they managed all four songs top 100 and now they only have 'Ugly Heart' left in the top 65.

laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif Haim songs are dropping incredibly fast! I'd like to thank Buzzjack for eventually showing some taste by comically eliminating Haim songs. 'If I Could Change Your Mind' somehow peaked at #27 in the official charts and as the days progress I know that we will have new Haim soon. sad.gif

Finishing at everybody's favourite number #69 is Little Mix's first single following X Factor, 'Wings' and the lead single from their debut studio album DNA (2012). Syco Music serviced the single to BBC Radio 1 in the United Kingdom on 2 July 2012 and it was released for digital download on 24 August 2012. It topped the UK Singles Chart with sales of 107,000 copies in its first week. The single also reached number one in Ireland and Scotland and number three in Australia, where it was certified triple platinum. It charted in the top 40 in three other countries, peaking at number 79 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and number 26 on the US Billboard Pop Songs chart. For Myself, 'Wings' has aged incredibly quickly and I can no longer listen to the song anymore as their music has grown up dramatically since that release and I'm happy to see it one of their lowest charting songs.

I'm in disbelief that 'Stickwitu' has finished as low as #70, Lotti and Froot are officially on the hitlist because 'Stickwitu' deserves to be top twenty! The lyrics are incredible, the melody is beautiful. I honestly can't fault this song and I feel like Jay in being annoyed regarding a result. 'Nobody going to love me better Jay, I must stickwitU', you know how to appreciate me". Gah, I'm sad even writing that it finished at #70. In the United States, "Stickwitu" reached number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and peaked at number-one in New Zealand and in the United Kingdom and reached top three in Australia, Ireland and the Netherlands.

Tim, when I seen this finishing #70 my first thought was that we have to do a duet of this. Disgraceful to see it finishing so low.

Posted by: Jimmy Jam 9th April 2016, 03:33 PM

In The Middle and Lighthouse are both amazing, sad to see they didn't make top 50. StickWitU is also great.

Agree about Wings, I like it, but it hasn't aged all that well, wouldn't put it any higher.

Posted by: (Zach) 9th April 2016, 03:39 PM

Stickwitu and Lighthouse cry.gif Two of my favorite ballads ever. I can't at these PCD classics dropping so quickly. I imagine I Hate This Part will go soon as well. Jai Ho and Don't Cha are both overrated.

Posted by: Joe. 9th April 2016, 03:41 PM

Totally agree with Lee on Lighthouse. It's easy to get caught up in the meaning, but as as song it doesn't really go anywhere.

Posted by: Ultraviolence1989 9th April 2016, 04:44 PM

Bloody hell at #66-#70, all of them should be higher cry.gif
Stickwitu (approx #60) is a great song, In The Middle (approx #55) is a great track and one of my Suga faves, If I Could Change Your Mind (approx #40) is one of their best and an incredible track and Wings (approx #40) is a fun jam wub.gif

Absolutely gutted Lighthouse is anywhere near that low, was in my top 3 from last year and is in my top 10 favourite girlband songs of all time heart.gif An incredibly beautiful and heartwarming ballad and a fantastic tribute to Simone heart.gif

61. Sugababes - Ugly (Average Rating 7.81)
62. Haim - The Wire (Average Rating 7.8)
63. Neon Jungle - Braveheart (Average Rating 7.75)
64. Fifth Harmony - Work From Home (Average Rating 7.41)
65. Haim - Falling (Average Rating 7.32)

"Ugly" is a song by British girl group Sugababes from their fourth studio album, Taller in More Ways (2005). Written and produced by Dallas Austin, inspiration for the song was conceptualised in the midst of reading negative comments about members of the band. The song released on 5 December 2005 in the United Kingdom as the second single from the album. "Ugly" is a midtempo pop song that contains lyrics about personality and body-image issues. It received comparisons to "Unpretty" by girl group TLC and "Beautiful" by Christina Aguilera. Ugly is the band's final single released under the second line up of Sugababes, after original member Mutya Buena departed the group in December 2005. 'Ugly' done well worldwide peaking at #3 in the UK and going top #20 in Australia, Turkey and Switzerland.

Finishing at an incredibly disappointing position is the final Neon Jungle single in the countdown as 'Braveheart' finishes as low at #63. I was incredibly shocked that 'Braveheart failed to come top 40 as I assumed that it was loved on Buzzjack. The single itself performed incredibly well worldwide with it peaking #4 in the UK and peaking top 20 in Australia which is more than The Saturdays ever achieved. 'Braveheart' is such a feel good dance track that is needed even in today's climate and it's sad to hear that we've still not seen anything from them since them being dropped.

'Ain't no getting of early' should be applied to 'Work From Home' finishing at #64. 'Work From Home' is already Fifth Harmony's biggest single to date with it going top 10 in America and top 2 in the UK. 'Work From Home' wasn't an instant love for me but after multiple listens I became obsessed and I would already rank it as one of my favourite singles of them. I mean the lyric 'turn the bed into an ocean' is iconic. The song itself is full of innuendos with the video being a mini porno, it's just a shame normani never fell of the traktor. Fun fact: 'Work From Home' says 'Work' more times than Rihanna *.*

Finishing at #65 and falling from grace are all you Haim lovers, 'Falling' is somehow adored by you peasants and I have no idea why, thankfully we have two Haim songs out in this batch with their other song 'The Wire' finishing at a respectable #62. Haim now only have one single left in the countdown and it was a guest feature on 'Pray To God'. 'Falling' recieved two negative ones from Joseph & Lee who thankfully have taste in this countdown while 'The Wire' achieved two 10's somehow. Lets just hope 'Pray To God' is out in the next batch, right?

Bloody ridiculous that Pray To God is the highest Haim song. I mean, it's good and great and all but their lead credit singles are on a different level. Though they were never going to do amazingly well here, I'll just take The Wire as #1 and Falling as #2 (utterly SHAMEFUL that that Fifth Harmony crap you're all currently wetting yourself over beat Falling's gloriousness, though I'm incredibly glad to see that gone as I feared it'd be much higher) and LEAVE THIS CROCK OF SHIT to sort itself out.

Posted by: Ultraviolence1989 9th April 2016, 05:09 PM

Ugly should be lower. Falling should be a bit lower- my least favourite Haim single and Braveheart is about right, would also have that a bit lower
Work From Home and The Wire falling out though, both should be top 25 sad.gif sad.gif WFH is easily my favourite song this year so far and is such a jam and The Wire is one of Haim's best and another great track by them wub.gif

Oh, she the bae, I'm her boo!
And she down to break the rules
La-di-da she gon' go...
I'm on drugs, she finessin'
I pill pop, she take that
Putting overtime on your body

56. Spice Girls - Who Do You Think You Are (Average Rating 7.92)
57. Spice Girls - Viva Forver (Average Rating 7.90)
58. Girls Aloud - Can't Speak French (Average Rating 7.88)
59. The Saturdays - Issues (Average Rating 7.87)
60. Stooshe - Blackheart (Average Rating 7.85)

(Praying For Jay)

Finishing at #57 is one of the best girlgroup singles EVER in 'Viva Forever', the trolls of Liam, UV and Sparky ensure a surprising positioning for a song that I thought would have managed to come close towards the top fifteen. 'Viva Forever' is my favourite ever Spice Girls song, the song itself is smooth, relaxing and beautiful <3 I remember this being my childhood song and the video always making me overly emotional. "Always be mine, Viva Forever, Jay will be raging! Everlasting like the sun, live forever.... not for this moment, ever searching for the trolls". Even listening to the song has made me angry, damn you buzzjack.

Sometimes I feel like I'm going out my mind, Buzzjack the way you do is me a damn crime then Froot shades me and it's alright. Poor Cameron is going to be distraught that 'Issues' missed the top fifty but I'm surprised it even made the top 75 considering the amount of undeserved hate this receives. After the album was released, the single jumped straight into the UK Singles Chart at number eighty-four. And two weeks later dropped out of the top 100 singles. After the release of the single, "Issues" stop up the UK Singles Charts and securing the chart position at number four, on 24 January 2009, it later spend 4 weeks in the UK Official Top 10 Singles and 18 weeks in the UK Official Top 40 Singles. 'Issues' helped 'Chasing Lights' have an incredibly healthy chart run and became their biggest airplay single which was replaced by 'Ego'. Prior to its single release, the lyrics to "Issues" were re-recorded after being misinterpreted as promoting violence. As the lyrics 'Can't decide if i should slap you or kiss you', left many people misunderstanding the word slap as stab, the lyrics where changed to 'Can't decide if i should leave you or kiss you'

(Hi Lotti and UV) Finishing at a surprising position of #60 are the other devils in music, Stooshe. Thankfully 'Blackheart' is the final song of Stooshe meaning that they will have no other songs in the countdown like Neon Jungle! Haim next? Please. biggrin.gif 'Blackheart' is the BEST single by the devil group and provided an incredible chart run with it managing to peak and hang around the top five which is something The Saturdays' could only dream about doing. The song went top five in Ireland, something The Saturdays have never managed and The song has sold 456,000 copies in the UK in 2012, the 27th best-selling single of the year.

Can we have the meaning please? x

It's nice to know that you can reply / shade me on here and ignore me elsewhere x

The meaning behind 'Work From Home' is basically, wanting to have sex with an individual in a home. The song itself has a lot of innuendos from "turn this bed into an ocean" meaning the sweat that occurs form sex will make the bed incredibly wet. The song itself also has lyrics including "ain't not getting of early" which means not to ejaculate within seconds and it's something that I would disappoint them in doing.

Although seeing how your sexuality is not known, I would provide you with the explanation of when Homer Simpson was to obese to attend work that he was allowed to indeed 'Work From Home' xx

Is there anything else I can help you with.

51. Sugababes - Denial (Average Rating (7.964)
52. Fifth Harmony - Sledgehammer (Average Rating 7.962 / More 10's)
53. Spice Girls - Stop (Average Rating 7.962)
54. Destiny Child - Independent Women (Average Rating 7.95)
55. Girls Aloud - Something New (Average Rating 7.94)

Completing the batch is 'Denial' which is dedicated towards Froot and his sexuality. " It wasn't until I looked into the mirror, 'Denial". It's okay Footises. Denial" debuted on the UK Singles Chart on 8 March 2008 at number 64, based on digital downloads from Change. The song rose from number 34 to number 15 in the issue dated 22 March 2008 with sales of 9,580 copies. It held this position for two consecutive weeks, while overall it charted for 11 weeks. By April 2010, the single had sold approximately 90,000 copies in the UK, placing it 16th on the group's list of best-selling songs.

The entire video of 'Sledgehammer' provides me The Saturdays teas, Fifth Harmony released 'Sledgehammer' as the second single from Reflection and it became their highest charting single in the United States due to a discount, I can already imagine Jay is thinking, 'Sledgehammer' beat Viva Forever? Yes, Yes it did. 'Sledgehammer' never charted in the UK as it was used as a B-side for Bo$$, the shade right? 'Sledgehammer' is a good enough track but I think it's my least favourite FH single.

I could imagine Jay singing this from the top of his lungs regarding the recent results of this, "Stop right now, thank you very much. I need somebody with a human touch". ' In the United States, "Stop" peaked at number sixteen on the Billboard Hot 100 becoming the group's sixth consecutive top twenty on the chart. It was the group's last single that was released before Geri Halliwell's departure in May 1998 though it was not the last single to include her vocals. 'Stop' also peaked at an impressive peak of #2 in the United Kingdom.

We girls going to run this show #FeminestOfTheSeet #LeeIsOurLeader all Buzzjack wants is something new, something I can hold on to, I don't wanna talk, I just wanna dance. Baby let Joseph drop. Joseph is the leader of the pack at loving 'Something New' and it is by FAR the best Girls Aloud song. 'Take a walk on the wild side of life' screeches miss harding. 'Something New' bombed down the charts at a comical rate even though it was the Children In Need official single and managed an impressive peak of #2 as it was up against Olly Murs. I'm sure Joseph will provide you more information on the song of 2014? Poor Jay losing all his favs like this.

GOODBYE HAIM! cheer.gif cheer.gif cheer.gif cheer.gif cheer.gif

Finishing at #48 is another Girls Aloud single in which helped them get their first brit award and another number one single in 'The Promise', I loved 'The Promise' upon release but now I can't even listen to it due the amount overplay killed it and how much it's aged, Loving Kind > which is thankfully still to come in this countdown.

Omg this is a Saturdays forum so why are all Saturday singles not top 20? 'Notorious' was The Saturdays first attempt off on air / on sale and they delivered an incredible performance on So You Think You Can Dance, the song went top #5 on iTunes and managed a top 10 before plummeting down the charts, I can only wish The Saturdays remained that relevant to open up with over 28,000 sales from an on air single. 'Notorious' being reduced to 59p helped it remain around the charts due to little airplay provided from radio stations. 'Notorious' is not my favourite Saturdays track but I would place it in my top 8 at least, it's risky and different to anything that they've done. * Una Strut *.

Despite getting three 11's one of the best Pussycat Dolls singles 'Buttons' has just managed to scrape the top fifty. Tim, Micheal provided this with a zero meaning that he's unable to participate in the next sing along on Rabbit that we have. 'Buttons' is such a sexual song and it's deserving of it's worldwide success. 'Buttons peaked at #3 in both the USA charts and UK charts with the additional help of Snoop Dogg.

Posted by: (Zach) 10th April 2016, 05:49 PM

Wow, that is an incredible batch bar The Promise. Buttons being #50 is the biggest joke. Of course I love Notorious but I think #49 is about right. Pray to God is good but should've been out a while ago, and I'm very pleased that One Strike made it as high as it has.

Posted by: JosephStyles 10th April 2016, 06:01 PM

41. Girls Aloud - The Loving Kind (Average Rating 8.14)
42. Girls Aloud - Untouchable (Average Rating 8.107)
43. The Saturdays - Disco Love(Average Rating 8.103)
44. Girls Aloud - The Show (Average Rating 8.09)
45. Fifth Harmony Feat Kid Ink - Worth It (Average Rating 8.08)

Double Girls Aloud at #41 and #42 with 'The Show' being eliminated at #44 meaning we have three Girls Aloud eliminations in this batch, what are y'all trying to do to Jay, he's already on the verge of a mental breakdown. 'The Loving Kind' is one of my favourite Girls Aloud song mainly due to the 'I'd do anything' verse which is so incredibly iconic. The Loving Kind" was originally written for inclusion on Pet Shop Boys' Yes (2009) before being given to Girls Aloud. Upon its release in January 2009, "The Loving Kind" entered the UK Singles Chart at number ten, thereby continuing their six-year streak of top ten hits.

Finishing at a surprising 43rd is the song which seems to win every Saturday's poll 'Disco Love', 'Disco Love' managed to get three 11's from posters such as Zach and Jimmy but Michael's zero proved to be too costly for the song. It's remarkable how close everything is from here on upwards! 'Disco Love' managed to be the final Saturdays single to go top 5 in the official chart and had an incredible amount of promotion behind the song despite poor airplay. 'Disco Love' is not in my top five favourite Saturdays singles but I'm glad to see it being appreciate never the less, so with forty songs to go The Saturdays have six songs left to be eliminated, can they win again ohmy.gif ?

Uh huh you see me in the spotlight like oh I love your style, give it to me I'm worth it. Firstly I would like to thank Cameron for making me appreciate such a bop as it took a great while for me to even appreciate the song. 'Worth It' was released as the third and final single from Reflection where it peaked at a impressive #12 in the US and #3 in the UK which is their biggest hit to date which should be overtaking by 'Work From Home' very soon. 'Worth It' was the perfect launch single to help them become the biggest girlband worldwide right now.

36. Destiny Child - Say My Name (Average Rating 8.26)
37. Pussycat Dolls Feat Busyta Rhymes - Don't Cha (Average Rating 8.25)

Finishing at #36 in the countdown we have arguably one of the biggest girl group singles of all time 'Say My Name' by Destiny Child. The song was the third single from the album and marked the introduction of the band's second lineup featuring newly added members Michelle Williams and Farrah Franklin. The single is the most successful of the four releases from the album and despite peaking at #03 in the UK singles chart, it managed to peak at #1 in the Billboard. 'Say My Name' managed one, 11 from Harry but Uv's -1 for 'Say My Name' proved to be costly and causing it to miss the top twenty.

Jay could breath a sigh of relief that Girls Aloud & Spice Girls have avoided eliminations in this batch, infact 'Say My Name' is his lowest rated song in the top 40 ohmy.gif. At #37 we have Pussycat Dolls (aka Nicole Scherzinger) debut song 'Don't Cha' achieved strong charting positions worldwide topping the charts in 15 countries including Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, Switzerland, United Kingdom and number two on the US Billboard Hot 100. "Don't Cha" has sold more than 3 million copies in the United States, and 7 million worldwide, becoming one of the best-selling singles of all time. 'Don't Cha' was also co-written by Cee Loo Green, which was a massive surprise to myself. 'Don't Cha' never managed any eleven's in the rate, although it managed tens from Micheal, Liam and UV and much more, I'm disappointed in myself that I only provided it with a nine as it could have helped it beat 'Say My Name'.

The newer songs are always going to have an advantage. I really don't know how Little Mix still have six songs in and I'm shocked that I Hate This Part is still in as well. Love that song but I don't know about it being PCD's best or second best single... Say My Name also deserved better, that's an absolute classic.

Posted by: Jimmy Jam 14th April 2016, 12:45 PM

The Little Mix ones left in are: Move, Salute, DNA, Black Magic, Love Me Like You, and Secret Love song; yes? I'm not surprised they have all made it this far, they're all great songs, though for my personal taste I think DNA has outlasted better songs, and should go soon...though I suspect Salute will be the next LM song out

Why not though? Jimmy Jam listed them above, and their remaining songs are all fantastic tracks. I'd see the issue if it was the likes of 'Little Me' and 'Change Your Life' clogging up the top 40, but they were (rightfully) eliminated a while back.

35. Spice Girls - 2 Become 1 (Average Rating 8.28)
I want to make love to you baby: Jonjo, Michael, Kuki, Joe, Tim & Jay [10]
Be a little bit wiser baby: NickF1 [5]

I'm ashamed to admit that I had never heard of '2 Become 1' until Hope (lol who remembers them?) performed it on the UK XFactor. You've voted '2 Become 1' the third best Spice Girls song and I would agree with it being behind 'Wannabe' and 'Viva Forever'. '2 Become 1' was the third single released by Spice Girls and was inspired between the relationship between Geri Halliwell and songwriter Matt Rowe. It topped the UK Singles Chart for three weeks, becoming the group's third consecutive chart-topper, their second million-selling single, and their first Christmas number-one single in the United Kingdom. It sold 209,000 copies in the first three days of release and 430,000 in the first week, becoming the tenth best-selling single of the year. "2 Become 1" sold 1.12 million copies in total, giving the Spice Girls their second and final million-selling single in the UK. In July 1997, the song was released in the United States, peaking at number four on the Billboard Hot 100.

34. The Saturdays - Not Giving Up (Average Rating 8.29)

Got me on overload, you are my rock of gold: Adam, Kuki, Cameron & Zach [11]
Hitting you so hard out of nowhere: Iz [2]

Firstly, I think we should all appreciate how much IZ has an absolute awful music taste because not only did he rank this the lowest song in his top 40 he provided with an incredible score of 2, 'Not Giving Up' also received small scores from such deluded posters such as Chez & Davidson. 'Not Giving Up' was the fourth single from The Saturdays floptastic fifth album 'Living For The Weekend' and became their first single to be snubbed by major radio stations which astonishes myself. 'Not Giving Up' was first previewed on The Saturdays' reality show Chasing the Saturdays in January 2013 and was produced by Carl Ryden who Mollie King is currently working with for her debut solo album. Limited promotion and limited airplay caused 'Not Giving Up' to be the third lowest Saturday's charting single as it peaked at #19 in the official charts despite being made album only. 'Not Giving Up' in my opinion is easily in The Saturdays best five tracks they've released which makes me incredibly sad to think about how hard it underperformed, I wonder how things would have turned out had they released this as the second single instead of Massiveflop Gentleman.

Posted by: Iz~ 16th April 2016, 05:48 PM

33. Little Mix - Love Me Like You (Average Rating 8.31)
They can't love this song like you: Joe (11)
You've got that nasty: Micheal (0)

Finally another Little Mix song drops out of the countdown which is surprising because it's in The Saturdays' forum so that makes the results obvious ? [/bal]. 't. It reached number 11 on the UK Singles Chart and has been certified gold by the BPI and top 30 in Australia with it being performed on Australia X Factor and Good Morning America (which is in the United States, just so Froot knows). 'Love Me Like You' is a clear standout in Little Mix's single releases as one of their best, It immediately clicked with myself and despite the disappointing peak of #11 the chart run was incredibly impressive.

I actually think I prefer LMLY to BM now. In fact, it's challenging 'Move' as my ultimate LM single. Jade's introductory verse and the 'L-O-V-E' breakdown are just incredible.

32. Girls Aloud - Love Machine (Average Rating 8.35)
I'm just a love machine: Chez (11)
Don't break the law: Jonjo, Sparky, Joe. (06)

Searching for a language that the two of us can speak. Sorry about the results taking it's time after doing 70+ in the opening day but we shall get finished this tomorrow so lets get y'all here to celebrate the ultimate female song. Finishing at 32 in the Ultimate Girlgroup single is another Girls Aloud song 'Love Machine'. The single was received favourably by contemporary music critics, who deemed it as joyful track that was different from the single releases by other artists at the time. According to research carried out for Nokia in 2006, "Love Machine" is the second "most exhilarating" song ever. Love Machine" debuted and peaked at number 2 on the UK Singles Chart, continuing the band's string of hits by becoming their sixth consecutive single to chart within the top three

31. Pussycat Dolls - I Hate This Part (Average Rating 8.38)
All we do is linger: (Harry - 11)
I hate all the posters right here: (Sparky, Sevensenze - 5)

Firstly, I would like to question Sevenseize and Sparky on their questionable taste, how can you claim such a masterpiece to be average? Do y'all not have any soul. I rated ' I Hate This Part' higher than the next five songs and disappointingly I only rated this a nine (Had I giving it a 10 it would have been higher ohmy.gif ). The song was written by Wayne Hector, Lucas Secon, Jonas Jeberg and Mich Hansen and produced by the latter two along with Ron Fair and Nicole Scherzinger. It was first recorded for Nicole Scherzinger's planned solo project, Her Name Is Nicole, but after its cancellation the song was given to the group. Contemporary music critics wrote generally positive reviews, commending the song's production and Scherzinger's vocals. "I Hate this Part" became a moderate success and peaked at number eleven on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and topped the US Hot Dance Club Songs chart. It also reached the top ten in Australia, France, and New Zealand. A music video for the song directed by Joseph Kahn was

I'll always be disappointed that it missed the top 10 in both the UK and the US because 'I Hate This Part' is one of my favourite Pussycat Dolls song and leaves their songs incredibly limited in the countdown now. The Lyrics in 'I Hate This Part' is incredibly beautiful and I can't help but think the song itself deserved to finish in the top twenty five of the countdown.

I do like: I Hate This Part, but I wouldn't have it any higher

What songs are even remaining? I think that's practically my whole top 20 bar Biology and Pure Shores gone now (and maybe a couple more) sad.gif

I Hate This Part is ANOTHER SONG THAT SHOULD BE HIGHER! One of my favourite songs of all time and such a beautiful ballad, incredible heart.gif

I gave 16 of them remaining 10's ohmy.gif Maybe there's better than I expected to come! (Just remembered 2 of the Sugababes essentials are still to come so that's probably 4 of my top 20 remaining, maybe Ugly Heart as well heart.gif). There's just too many good girlband songs!

I know what my 11 is of course and my -1 also!

30. Destiny Child - Booylicious (Average Rating 8.39)

My song taste is bootylicious: Jimmy & Davidson (10)
I don't think you can handle this? Zach (4.5)

"Bootylicious" is a song by American R&B group Destiny's Child. It was written and produced by Rob Fusari, Melissa Hinz, and group member Beyoncé Knowles for the band's third studio album Survivor (2001). The track was released as the album's second single from the album in 2001 and became the band's fourth U.S. number-one single. It also reached the top five in Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom. A "Rockwilder Remix" of the song featured Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliott and appeared on the soundtrack of the 2001 musical Carmen: A Hip Hopera and the 2002 compilation This Is the Remix. Although the term "bootylicious" was first used in song by rapper Snoop Dogg in 1992, the popularity of this track caused the slang word to become widespread and it was added to the Oxford English Dictionary (defined as "(of a woman) sexually attractive") in 2004.

Bootylicious is an absolute banger. One of my all time favs. Would have liked to have seen it higher, but pleased it made the top 30!! cheer.gif cheer.gif

In defence of my low score of 'I Hate This Part', I never really liked the pussycat dolls (or in other words the one woman show of Nicole). Buttons and Whatcha Think About That are really their only songs that I like or would listen to. I hate this part is inoffensive enough, but just a rather bland pop song.

Love Machine going out this early... it's easily Girls Aloud's best song, but well, I was feeling like these results weren't car-crash enough lately.

I Hate This Part is absolutely beautiful, should be a bit higher., at least top 20
Although Bootylicious is good, I'm not sure it should be this high.

28. All Saints - Rock Steady (Average Rating 8.45)
29. Sugababes - Push The Button (Average Rating 8.42)

Sorry about the lack of the results, the last two weeks have been incredibly stressful with university and work, I'll hopefully have this completed by Sunday, thanks for everybody who has been involved in this, I very much appreciate this. If we get enough comments within the next while, we could even get to the top 20 by tomorrow *.*

Finishing at 28 is one of All Saints biggest singles 'Rock Steady'. It was co-written by group member Shaznay Lewis in collaboration with the track's producer Greg Kurstin. The song was released by Parlophone Records on 6 November 2006. 'Rock Steady' is an ALRIGHT pop song and I'm surprised to see it as high as #28. 'Rock Steady' peaked at #11 in the official charts and received five 10's in the countdown.

Finishing at 29 is one of Sugababes biggest singles 'Push The Button' which I would happily admit is one of my favourite Sugababes single. Micheal's -1 affected the final position of 'Push The Button' and ensured that it never finished in the top 20. e Sugababes, released as the lead single from their fourth studio album Taller in More Ways (2005). Composed by Dallas Austin and the Sugababes, it was inspired by an infatuation that group member Keisha Buchanan developed with another artist. ome critics named it one of best pop singles of the 2000s. "Push the Button" became one of the group's most commercially successful releases. The single peaked at number one in Austria, Ireland, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom, and reached the top five across Europe and in Australia. It was nominated for Best British Single at the 2006 BRIT Awards.

Rock Steady is great but a little too high!
That's about perfect position for Push The Button, maybe a tiny bit higher would've been nicer but nothing too bad! Such a great po song and a Sugababes essential heart.gif

Would have liked to have seen PTB higher as it's an absolute classic heart.gif Rock Steady is great, though I do think it's outlasted better songs, but overall pretty pleased with the success of both of these here wub.gif

'Rock Steady' is a decent song too, probably one of their best songs I would say.

26. Little Mix - Salute (Average Rating 8.5)
27. All Saints - Black Coffee (Average Rating 8.458)

Finishing at #26 is the feminist song of t'seet. 'Salute' has came under attention most recently on Buzzjack due to it's shoutbox connection, where the leader of the site Lee is screaming to Adam, "Detentionnnnnnn". 'Salute' is by far one of the best things from their previous album and easily in their best five songs, in fact listening to 'Salute' now makes me realise how strong their discography actually and it's understandable to see why they are the biggest girlband in the world right now, hopefully their next single is finally their US breakthrough although if 'Move' and 'Black Magic' couldn't manage it, what will? Lyrically, "Salute" is a girl-power song, being called "a call to arms for women everywhere to stand up and fight whatever imaginary enemy is standing in their way," with military metaphors, war sirens, and hip hop and trap influences, drawing comparisons to Destiny's Child and Beyoncé's "Run the World (Girls)". The backing track samples Xzibit's Paparazzi.

Music critics gave the song positive reviews, with most praising its empowering lyrics and military-inspired drum beats. Some even noticed it would fit perfectly as an opening song for the tour, as well as being one of the strongest tracks of 2013. The song became a top-ten hit on the charts of Scotland and United Kingdom, becoming the band's sixth top-ten single in the UK, while reaching the top-twenty in Ireland and top-forty in Belgium. A music video for the song features the band dancing in an underground warehouse with an entourage of male dancers, some of whom are on leads. To promote the song, the band performed in many TV shows, including Britain's Got Talent and the Today Show. Without promotion on BGT, it's sad to think that 'Salute' would have missed the top 30, the impact that BGT had was phenomenal as it put it from #42 on iTunes to #3 on iTunes. SALUTE this song.

Thankfully another All Saints drops out of the rate and it's the incredibly overrated 'Black Coffee' which I can't understand get so much praise. Black Coffee" is a song recorded by English-Canadian girl group All Saints for their second studio album, Saints & Sinners (2000). It was released by London Records on 2 October 2000 as the second single from the album. The track was initially written and recorded under the working title, "I Wouldn't Wanna Be", by Swiss model and singer Kirsty Bertarelli, after she met Swiss entrepreneur Ernesto Bertarelli in 1997. All Saints' later recording was produced by William Orbit who, together with group members Shaznay Lewis and Melanie Blatt, gave it a new arrangement and renamed it "Black Coffee". A moderately fast ambient, electropop and R&B song, "Black Coffee" has a distinctly production-laden and hazy sound, with obscure and breathy keyboard instruments, guitar, synths, and glitching electronics throughout. It is a sad love song about Kirsty's love at first sight feelings for Ernesto.

The track has received universal acclaim from critics who have cited it as among the group's best releases, commending Orbit's obscure electronic production, and the group's wistful harmonies. "Black Coffee" marked All Saints' fifth number-one single on the UK Singles Chart and, at the time, made them the girl group with the second most number-one singles in the UK after the Spice Girls, surpassing B*Witched. It was certified silver by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) and is the group's fourth best-selling single in the UK. "Black Coffee" also achieved success internationally, reaching the top 10 in Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, New Zealand and Sweden, and the top 20 in Australia, Finland and Norway.

25. Sugababes - Too Lost In You (Average Rating 8.51)
Highest Rating: Micheal, KukiKanban (11)
Lowest Rating: Jonjo (4.5)

Finishing at #25 is the beautiful, relaxing single by Sugababe 'Too Lost In You'. Pure Micheal will be furious seeing this incredible ballad miss the top 20. "Too Lost in You" is a song by English girl group Sugababes, from their third studio album Three (2003). It was written by American songwriter Diane Warren as a rendition of the song "Quand j'ai peur de tout" by French singer Patricia Kaas. The song was produced by the Australian musician Rob Dougan in collaboration with Andy Bradfield, and recorded at the Realsongs studio in Hollywood. "Too Lost in You" is prominently featured in the soundtrack to the 2003 film Love Actually, and was chosen for the film specifically by its director Richard Curtis. It is a pop and R&B ballad composed of an orchestral music arrangement and dark harmonies.

"Too Lost in You" was released in the United Kingdom on 15 December 2003 as the album's second single. It received favourable reviews from most critics, who commended the Sugababes' performance and considered it one of the best pop singles of the 2000s. The song was commercially successful worldwide, and reached the top ten on the singles charts of the Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Surprisingly 'Too Lost In You' only peaked at #10 in the United Kingdom which surprised myself.

24. Little Mix Feat Jason Derulo - Secret Love Song (Average Rating 8.62)
Highest Rating: Jonjo, Tim, Nick, Lotti, Cameron (11)
Lowest Rating: Micheal (0)

" It's obvious that you're meant for lee, every piece of you just fits perfectly"

Finishing at a respectable but a rather disappointing position is a song that was written by TICH, yes ACTUAL TICH, 'Secret Love Song' which was originally named 'Behind Closed Doors'. 'Secret Love Song' is the rabbit anthem of Buzzjack and it allows me to show of my vocal abilities, who else could perfect "I'm yoouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurs" as good as me? Nobody, that's who! Nobody. 'Secret Love Song' had such a disappointing video and deserved so much better, the song itself is by far one of the best things Little Mix have ever done and I seriously can't fault this era.

Secret Love Song" is a song recorded by British girl group Little Mix for their third studio album, Get Weird (2015). It features guest vocals from American singer Jason Derulo, who co-wrote the song with Jez Ashurst, Emma Rohan, and Tich. It was produced by Jayson DeZuzio. The group's cover of Derulo's 2015 single "Want to Want Me" inspired him to collaborate with them. "Secret Love Song" is a slow ballad comprising pounding bass and melancholic strings. The lyrics discuss unrequited and forbidden love, while Derulo's verse details his personal experience of having an affair.

The song was announced as the third single from Get Weird in Ireland and the UK. It was met with mixed reviews from music critics, who lauded the group's vocal performance, but criticised Derulo's feature and the track's originality. "Secret Love Song" has reached number six on the UK Singles Chart. An accompanying music video was directed by Frank Borin and filmed in London near Tower Bridge. 'Secret Love Song' peaked at #3 on iTunes and only had one live televised promotion slot on Graham Norton, it would be interesting to see where 'Secret Love Song' would have peaked had the video been released earlier / they performed this at the BRITS.

Can we just agree that this should have been the official music video, yeah? It's the LGBT (IZ) song of the year.

It was released Christmas week, hence why it only hit #10 (although it was top ten for two weeks)

Loads of great songs out there, in particular TLIY and SLS. wub.gif

I'm a bit disappointing Secret Love song missed the top twenty but I'm guessing next year it will be lower.

23. Sugababes - Freak Like Me (Average Rating 8.64)
Highest Rating: Rogue, Aled (11)
Lowest Rating: (-1 Jonjo)

Jonjo single handly ruins 'Freak Like Me' chances of finishing within the top twenty. 'Freak Like Me' gathered a massive ten 10's which helped it recover from the -1 from Jonjo. I think 'Freak Like Me' is a good enough song but I wouldn't put it in my top 30, so I'm rather happy to see it successfully miss the top 20.

n 2002, English girl group Sugababes recorded a cover of "Freak Like Me". It was released on 22 April 2002 as the lead single from their second studio album, Angels with Dirty Faces (2002). The song also appears on Richard X's album, Richard X Presents His X-Factor Vol. 1 (2003). "Freak like Me" was the first Sugababes single to feature Heidi Range, who joined after the departure of Siobhán Donaghy in June 2001.

This version of the song uses the backing track of a 2001 bootleg mash-up by English producer Richard X, titled "We Don't Give a Damn About Our Friends", which he created under the alias "Girls on Top".[9] The Sugababes version of the song, itself a new version of "We Don't Give a Damn About Our Friends", was sampled from Gary Numan and the Tubeway Army's "Are 'Friends' Electric?" and used the radio edit lyrics of Howard's song ("brotha" is used instead of "n****"). Numan was now credited as a co-writer of the song. Richard X produced the mash-up without the permission of the copyright holders of the songs by Adina Howard or Tubeway Army, but it became a successful underground dance track. After failing to gain permission to use Howard's vocals for a commercial release, the Sugababes were chosen by Richard X to re-record them.

'Freak Like Me' was another number one for Sugababes, and it successfully peaked at #2 and #44 in Australia. SLAY.

Goodbye to the most overrated single released by Spice Girls. I'll never get the mass appeal for 'Spice Up Your Life' and why members on Buzzjack adore the song so much, I'm delighted to see it miss the top 20. It's next lowest score was 3 by Zach and the rest were all 7+. Me and Zach saving the forum from this mess being top 20.

"Spice Up Your Life" is a song by the British pop group Spice Girls. It was written by the group members, with Matt Rowe and Richard Stannard, at the same time as the group was filming scenes for their movie Spice World. The song was produced by Rowe and Stannard for the group's second album Spiceworld, released in November 1997.

"Spice Up Your Life" is a dance-pop song with influences of Latin rhythms such as salsa and samba. The lyrics are inspired by Bollywood films and reflects the group desire to "write a song for the world". The music video, directed by Marcus Nispel, features the Spice Girls in a futuristic setting, inspired by the 1982 film Blade Runner, controlling every aspect of society in a dark futuristic cityscape. The group promoted the song heavily, performing it on many television programmes and award shows.

Despite the lukewarm reception from music critics, it was a commercial success. Released as the album's lead single in October 1997, it topped the UK Singles Chart on 19 October 1997 for one week, becoming the group's fifth consecutive chart-topper. This made the Spice Girls the first act to have its first five singles reach number one in the United Kingdom. It performed almost as well internationally, peaking inside the top five on the majority of the charts that it entered. In the United States, the song did not perform as well as their previous releases, peaking at number eighteen on the Billboard Hot 100.

21. The Saturdays - Up (Average Rating 8.67)
Highest Rating: Harry, Iz, Liam (11)
Lowest Rating: Micheal (5)

"Finest Selection, this could take us anywhere"

Surprisingly the track that people like Seven, Bre claim injustice for in this rate has criminally finished at #21 in the Girl group single rate. 'Up' received less 11's than the song at #20 which carries on the absolute injustice. I've never been a massive fan of 'Up' but I'll happily admit that I've grown to appreciate more over the last year or so. 'Up' was the single that helped make The Saturdays successful and it ensured that 'Chasing Lights' album campaign was seen as a major success, which isn't difficult considering the chart performance of 'Wordshaker', 'On Your Radar', 'Living For The Weekend' and 'Finest Selection'. 'Headlines was a success though which was helped from The Saturdays very own ITV show.

"Up" is a song by British-Irish recording girl group The Saturdays from their debut studio album, Chasing Lights (2008). It was co-written by the track's producers, Josef Larossi and Andreas Romdhane of Quiz & Larossi, in collaboration with Ina Wroldsen. "Up" was first released by Fascination and Polydor Records on 12 October 2008 as the second single from Chasing Lights. It was accompanied by a B-side entitled "Crashing Down"; originally recorded by the Nolans in 1982, and written by Benjamin Findon, Robert Puzey and Mike Myers, and produced by Jewels & Store The Saturdays previously collaborated with Ina Wroldsen for their debut single "If This Is Love", as well as 'My Heart Takes Over', 'Notorious', 'Work', 'Chasing Lights', 'Ego' and 'Higher' what an absolute queen this women is. The song is upbeat and, has prominent dance-pop and electropop genre characteristics. It contains lyrical influences from feelings of feminism and self-confidence in a personal relationship with your lover.

"Up" received mainly positive reviews from contemporary music critics. On 19 October 2008 it debuted at number five on the UK Singles Chart with sales of 26,593 in its first week of release. It became the group's second consecutive top ten hit in the United Kingdom and was certified Silver by the British Phonographic Industry. It was The Saturdays' best-selling single at that time, with sales of over 311,000 copies in the United Kingdom alone. The single became the group's first chart hit in Ireland where it peaked at number eleven, it also reached number 15 on the European Hot 100 Singles chart. 'Up' peaked at number two on iTunes but was pushed down due to charity singles and physical sales.

Popjustice ranked "Up" as the eighth best single of 2008 in its list of 'The Top 104 Singles of 2008'. The song was also used to back television advertisements and trailers for popular American television series, Ugly Betty

I've always loved 'Black Coffee' wub.gif The production is fantastic and the harmonies are great as well. It does feel very underrated on here though, especially when compared to 'Pure Shores' (which is brilliant).

"Black Magic" is a song by British girl group Little Mix. It was written by Camille Purcell, Ed Drewett, Edvard Forre Erfjord and Henrik Michelsen. The Norwegian production duo Electric, who previously worked on the group's second studio album Salute (2013), produced the single with Matt Rad, who is additional producer. It was released as the lead single from their third studio album, Get Weird on 21 May 2015. "Black Magic" received critical acclaim from critics, who praised its upbeat and catchy sound and compared it to songs from their debut album, DNA

The single topped the UK Singles Chart with combined sales of 113,000, making it the group's first single to top the chart since their 2012 single "Wings". The single also peaked within the top 10 of the charts in Ireland, Israel and Australia, achieving platinum certification in the latter. On the UK Singles Chart, "Black Magic" remained at the top of the chart for three weeks, becoming the first single by a girl group to do so since Sugababes's "About You Now" in October 2007. The song was nominated for Choice Love Song at the 2015 Teen Choice Awards. 16. G.R.L - Ugly Heart (Average Rating 8.79)
Highest Rating: Kuki, Joe (11)
Lowest Rating: Harry (-1)

"I wonder does it blow your mind, that i'm leaving you far behind"

"Ugly Heart" is the second single by American-British-Canadian girl group G.R.L. from their self-titled EP. The song features songwriting credits from Ryan Baharloo, Ester Dean, Lukasz Gottwald, John Charles Monds and Henry Walter, with production credits from Gottwald and Walter under their production monikers, Dr. Luke and Cirkut. The song was released on June 3, 2014 as the lead single from the EP. "Ugly Heart" is a guitar-driven pop song that also uses a ukulele to give it a country vibe.

The track centers on a guy who initially appears beautiful on the outside, but later displays his ugly side. The group thought a lot of women would be able to relate to the song and hoped it would inspire them to find someone who would treat them well. The song was met with general acclaim from critics. The song's accompanying music video was directed by Chris Marrs Piliero. It depicts the girls being arrested by the police, after they tattoo the word "ugly" on a man's face. It was watched 2.5 million times in less than a week following its release. "Ugly Heart" was the last single to be released by the group before band member Simone Battle's death on September 5, 2014

For the week commencing July 14, 2014, "Ugly Heart" debuted at number 41 on the ARIA Singles Chart in Australia. It reached a peak position of number 2. Ugly Heart also landed at No. 10 on The Australian 2014 Year End charts. The track reached a peak position of number 3 on the Official New Zealand Music Chart. In the United Kingdom, on the week after Battle's death, "Ugly Heart" debuted at number eleven on the UK Singles Chart due to lack of streaming and despite being at number 6 on the sales-only based version of the chart. Although the song did not chart on the Billboard Hot 100, it has sold over 113,000 copies in the United States

14. Little Mix - DNA
Highest Rating: Micheal. Liam, Jonjo (10)
Lowest Rating: SevenSeize (7)
" Made from the best, he passes all the test"

"DNA" is a song recorded by British girl group Little Mix for their 2012 debut album of the same name. Released as the album's second single, the song was solicited to contemporary radio stations in the United Kingdom on 1 October 2012. Syco digitally released the single in Ireland and the United Kingdom on 9 November 2012. It was written by TMS, Iain James and Little Mix, while the production was handled by TMS. "DNA" is an electronic pop ballad, which incorporates R&B and techno pop musical styles. Lyrically, the song contains multiple references to scientific vocabulary and is based on themes of love and obsession.

"DNA" garnered positive reviews from music critics, who praised the group's powerful vocals and the song's darker sound. The song received comparisons to Katy Perry's song "E.T." (2011), which was an inspirational factor in its development. "DNA" was commercially successful, debuting and peaking at number three the UK Singles Chart with sales of 72,044 copies, becoming the group's third consecutive top three hit there. It also reached the top ten in Ireland, Hungary and Scotland, and was certified gold in Australia where it peaked at number 48.

The accompanying music video was directed by Sarah Chatfield and was released on 19 October 2012. Filmed in comic book movie style, it portrays Little Mix as female assassins who stalk and then kidnap men who they are obsessed with. Critics noted the similarities from the video with that of comic series Sin City and fictional character Catwoman, and gave it positive reviews for it. Little Mix have performed "DNA" on television shows Loose Women and The X Factor. They also performed the song as a continuation of the music video's storyline on their DNA Tour

"DNA" debuted and peaked at number eight on the Irish Singles Chart for the week ending 15 November 2012, becoming Little Mix's third consecutive top ten hit in Ireland.[41] After descending the chart for 12 weeks, the song dropped off on 14 March 2013. It then re-entered the chart at number 93 on 28 March 2013, before dropping off two weeks later. It spent a total of 14 weeks on the chart. In the United Kingdom, "DNA" was a contender for number one when it was revealed that the single was at number two in the midweek chart, 3,000 copies behind Bruno Mars' "Locked Out of Heaven". By the end of the week "DNA" entered the UK Singles Chart at number three on 24 November 2012 with sales of 72,044 copies, behind "Locked Out of Heaven" at number two (75,880 copies) and One Direction's "Little Things" at number one (85,308 copies). It became Little Mix's third consecutive top three hit in the country and went on to spend a total of nine weeks on the chart, and end the year as the 115th best-selling single in the UK.[50] In an interview with Robert Copsey of Digital Spy, Jade Thirlwall explained her disappointment in the single not becoming the group's third number one:

Highest Rating: Lee, Lotti (11)

"We can do it nightly, you get me excited"

Just missing the top 10 is The Saturday's and their first number one single 'What About Us'. heir first international single, it is the lead single from their first American-only release EP, Chasing The Saturdays (2013). It also acts as the second single from their fourth studio album Living for the Weekend (2013). The single was first released in the United States and Canada on 18 December 2012 via digital download, before being released in the United Kingdom on 16 March 2013 via CD single and digital download. The single was written by Camille Purcell, Ollie Jacobs, Philip Jacobs. There are two different versions of the track which have been recorded and released: a solo version, which was released exclusively in the US and Canada, and a version featuring Jamaican rapper Sean Paul, which was released internationally. Music critics gave the song positive feedback, but questioned the heavily auto-tuned chorus and the move away from the group's traditional sound.

A music video was released for the song was published and released via The Saturdays' Vevo account on 11 January 2013. The video was filmed in Los Angeles, where the band were filming their U.S. reality series, Chasing The Saturdays, which is broadcast through E!. An acoustic version of "Somebody Else's Life", which can be heard on the opening titles of the show, was released as a B-side.[3] The Saturdays went on to a promotional tour in order to get the song "out there" in the United States, and appeared on a number of different chat shows including The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Jeff Probst Show, Fashion Police, Chelsea Lately and The Today Show in New York City. They later went on to a promotional tour in the UK, visiting radio stations around the country.

"What About Us" gained commercial success, debuted at number one on the UK Singles Chart to become The Saturdays' twelfth UK top 10 single and first ever number-one. In Ireland, the song debuted at number six on the Irish Singles Chart, gaining the group their fifth top 10 single there. With first-week sales of 114,000 copies and 40,000 copies more sold than their closest competitor to number one, "What About Us" was the fastest-selling single of 2013 in the UK until it was overtaken by Naughty Boy's "La La La" two months later. In December 2013, it was announced as the eleventh fastest-selling single of the year overall. As of August 2014, the song has sold over 400,000 copies in the UK. On 23 December 2013, Mollie King posted a photo on Instagram of her holding a 500,000 sales plaque from their record label, with the message that "What About Us" had sold over 500,000 copies in UK and USA, with 120,000 copies in the US alone even without charting on the Billboard Hot 100.

11. Spice Girls - Wannabe (Average Rating 8.92 - Less 11's)
Highest Rating: Robot (11)
Lowest Rating: Zach (2)

"Wannabe" is the debut hit single by the British girl group the Spice Girls. Written by the group members with Matt Rowe and Richard Stannard during the group's first professional songwriting session, it was produced by Rowe and Stannard for the group's debut album Spice, released in November 1996. The song was written and recorded very quickly; the result was considered lacklustre by their label, and was sent to be mixed by Dave Way. The group was not pleased with the result, and the recording was mixed again, this time by Mark "Spike" Stent.

"Wannabe" is an uptempo dance-pop song. "Wannabe" features Mel B and Geri Halliwell rapping. The lyrics, which address the value of female friendship over the heterosexual bond, became an iconic symbol of female empowerment and the most emblematic song of the group's Girl Power philosophy. Despite receiving mixed reviews from music critics, the song won for Best British-Written Single at the 1997 Ivor Novello Awards and for Best Single at the 1997 BRIT Awards.

"Wannabe" was heavily promoted by the group. Its music video, directed by Johan Camitz, became a big success on the British cable network The Box, which sparked press interest in the group. Subsequently the song had intensive radio airplay across the United Kingdom, while the group performed it on television programmes and started doing interviews and photo shoots for teen magazines.

Responding to the wave of public interest in the group, Virgin released the song as the group's debut single in July 1996, well ahead of the planned release date of the Spice album. "Wannabe" topped the UK Singles Chart for seven weeks and has received a double Platinum certification by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI). In January 1997 it was released in the United States, topping the Billboard Hot 100 for four weeks. It was the group's only number-one single in that country. By the end of 1996, "Wannabe" had topped the charts in 22 nations, and by March 1997 this number had climbed to 37. "Wannabe" became the best-selling single by a female group in the world, with 1,360,000 and 2,910,000 copies sold in United Kingdom (by 2015) and United States (by 2014), respectively, and over 7 million copies worldwide by the end of 1997.] In 2014, it was rated as the most easily recognisable pop song of the last 60 years.

10. Little Mix - Move (Average Rating 8.92 More 11's)
Highest Rating: Iz, Sam, Froot (11)
Lowest Rating: Micheal (2)

The final Little Mix song and the most favourited on Buzzjack is their lead single from album two Salute, 'Move'.

"Move" is a song by British girl group Little Mix. It was released as the lead single from their second studio album, Salute (2013). It was co-written by the group with Maegan Cottone and Nathan Duvall, and produced by the latter. An R&B[1] song, that moves away from Little Mix's previous melody-led ventures, featuring more quirky sounds with bass synth. The girl band stated that the song is about when a boy on the dance floor is "acting too cool for school" and they would like him to move. The single was made available for pre-ordering on iTunes on the same day as its radio impact without the official single artwork.

The single received its first airplay in the United Kingdom on 23 September 2013 and was released for digital download on 3 November 2013, a week before the release of Salute in that country. It debuted and peaked at number three on the UK Singles Chart.
