Out of interest, what do y’all think ‘Queen’ will debut with?
I’m predicting a good debut of around 200k as she has a tour bundle, certainly no less than ‘Witness’ with a tour bundle debuted. If Bed gets a lot of youtube streams/takes off in America up to 220k maybe? Although, if she is the queen of rap as she repeatedly says surely she’ll be able to beat Cardi’s 255k, especially given she has a CD and tour bundle ;o I kid (a bit) In the UK she has a pretty big fan base so I can see around 13k and a #6 debut, which wouldn’t be too bad given Pink Print only got 17k in Q4!! |

I don't see how the comparison to Cardi can be made - shes on one of her first campaigns and there is a lot of hype. Hype for Nicki back when she debuted was just as much but obviously now she is moving into the less fresh artist category where her name might not get her so far as it once did.
I reckon anywhere in the top 10 or just outside for the UK; Chun-Li was decent and Bed seems to be doing better. |

I can't see her selling anywhere near much as Cardi tbh. As SKepner says Cardi had the hype of being a new artist for her debut, add to that the 6ix9ine song and tour collaboration potentially putting some of her fans off getting her album.

Just under 200k probably. For reference 'The Pinkprint' did 244k. There's no way she'll do as well as that let alone beat Cardi's sales. Nicki may well be the 'queen of rap' but Cardi is a lot more popular at the moment.
It'll just about scrape the UK top ten too. |
