TROPICAL!!
It's exactly what you'd expect from a Rachel Platten song put through a tropical-pop production machine. Big chorus, tropical-pop instrumental post-chorus with "here i gos" over the top. Then a massive clappy middle 8 to top it off! All quite formulaic but it's still a fab pop tune.

The chorus is pretty bland and her voice is really annoying during the "here I go" bits. It doesn't go anywhere really.
Massively disappointing, generic fodder with bad vocals.

The advantages of being on Australia Spotify.
It's a very good pop anthem, it's not as quite as instant as 'Stand By You' of 'Fight Song' but it's still a very good pop song and I'm sure the music video will be incredible for this with a powerful message behind it. I have no idea how she's going to do commercially but it would be good if she managed to go top 100 in the official charts. She's currently fourth on New Music Friday but will no doubt be pushed down due to Miley.

This is SO good I was liking it but not loving it after my first couple of listens but it has already grown so quickly over the last few hours, a fab pop song <3

Really liking this, the tropical production fits quite naturally alongside her style. The middle 8 is my least favourite part but otherwise it's a good song
Also, touching on something said up the thread, I always preferred Fight Song to Stand By You! Never could quite get into the latter.

I actually could see this doing well in the US, who seek to favour artists like herself and Alessia Cara etc. 'Broken Glass' is #51 on US iTunes at the moment, I'm hoping her record label payola to Spotify and I'm sure if it continues picking up momentum radio will rotate this a good amount! Very radio friendly!

I really really like this, I hope it takes off, it's creeping up on US iTunes, I don't get how she just randomly had a huge number one in the UK and then failed to chart ever since with 3 great follow up singles.
