100. Tyler Moon

Cameron 2 points

(I missed this one yesterday so I've changed the positions for Barry Evans and Ricky Butcher who should be above him)

Tyler Moon (played by Tony Discipline) was the son of Eddie Moon, half brother of Michael and Craig Moon, brother of Anthony Moon and cousin of Alfie Moon. He made his first appearance in the episode broadcast on 27 June 2011.

Tyler, along with brother Anthony, were both announced as new characters in May 2011, though Tyler made his debut at an earlier date. Described as having a short fuse and "quick to use his fist to sort things out", Tyler begins boxing and when half brother Michael pushes him to do an unlicensed fight, Tyler agrees, unbeknown to Tyler that Michael is fixing the fight, putting a boxer in the ring who once killed a man. Tyler wins the fight, though suffers a fit and undergoes life saving operations.

Other than this, he is described as a "heart-throb" and "ladykiller". When Tyler first arrives, he chats up a number of girls and even kisses Roxy Mitchell. Tyler later starts dating Whitney Dean, though their relationship suffers badly due to Whitney's past. A love triangle begins to develop between Tyler, Whitney and Fatboy. When Whitney chooses Fatboy, Tyler has a one-night stand with Lauren Branning, though later regrets it after finding out that Whitney still has feelings for him.

Tyler's final episode was broadcast on 6 August 2013

97. Sylvie Carter

Pippa 3 points

Sylvie Carter, portrayed by Linda Marlowe, is the estranged wife of already established character, Stan Carter and is the mother of Shirley and Tina and was also thought to be the mother of her grandson, Mick, until May 2014. She initially appeared in 11 episodes, from 11 December 2014 to 22 January, which later extended to 14 episodes, due to three further appearances on 10, 23 and 24 April 2015. Sylvie returned for a single episode on 1 January 2016 for Mick's wedding to Linda Carter before reappearing as a regular from 14 June 2016 until the character's death on 30 March 2017.

Laura-Jayne Tyler of Inside Soap praised the 2017 scene where Sylvie told Tina about her childhood abuse, saying, "all praise to EastEnders for the beautifully written and acted scene where Sylvie recalled her brutal treatment at the hands of her mum. Bravo to all."

AaronTM 3 points

Michael Moon, played by Steve John Shepherd, was a second cousin once removed of Alfie Moon, and first appears on 1 October 2010 after Alfie's return. He is also the father to Tommy Moon, whose mother is Alfie's wife Kat. Michael is later joined by his father Eddie Moon and half brothers Tyler and Anthony.

A psychopath, Michael is described as a competitive and manipulative risk-taker who lives dangerously. He is a charmer with an eye for the ladies, but is willing to stab anyone in the back. He has a relationship with Roxy Mitchell, which is disliked by Roxy's sister Ronnie, and marries Janine Butcher. In March 2013, it was announced that Shepherd decided to leave the role. Michael's last episode is on 1 November 2013, when Michael is murdered by Janine.

95. Pam Coker

JosephStyles 3 points

Pam Coker, played by Lin Blakley, made her first appearance on 14 April 2014. Pam is the wife of established character Les Coker who was made a regular in April 2014. Of her casting, Blakley said "Being part of EastEnders is like going to work and being with another family. I'm really enjoying myself. Working with Roger has been wonderful from the word go, we have a laugh together and I feel like I have known him forever." Executive producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins said "Les and Pam are part of our plans to rejuvenate the show's older generation. It's already so exciting to watch the chemistry between Roger and Lin on set, playing characters who have been together for so long, they know each other inside out. Or so they think." It was announced on 28 July 2016 that Pam and Les would leave later in 2016 after the both of them were written out by the new executive producer Sean O'Connor. Pam and Les made their final appearances on 14 October 2016. Pam made an unannounced guest appearance on 25 May 2017, to attend Billy and Honey's housewarming party. She made another guest appearance on 22 June 2017 and another on 5 February 2018. Blakely reprised the role for two episodes on 7 and 8 November 2019.

I did like Pam she had warmth and was a good character to have in the show, i didnt score her but i like her, sylvie was also good she had some great one liners but only worked as a short term character where as Pam should have been kept in the show. Michael Moon was ok in some scenes but i didnt miss him when he left.

I thought Michael Moon was a great character. So complex. All too brief though unfortunately.

94. Gray Atkins

Cameron 4 points

Gray Atkins, played by Toby-Alexander Smith, is the husband of Chantelle Atkins. Smith said of his casting, "I'm delighted to be joining the cast of EastEnders as I've always been a fan. I'm looking forward to seeing what Albert Square has in store for Gray." Gray made his first appearance on 29 March 2019. On 12 July 2019, it was revealed that Gray domestically abuses Chantelle, with EastEnders working closely with Women's Aid in order to portray the issue sensitively and accurately.

93. Mick Carter

Lukuzz 4 points

Mick Carter, played by Danny Dyer, made his first appearance on 25 December 2013. He is the son of established character Shirley Carter. Mick immediately becomes the new landlord of The Queen Victoria public house, bringing his wife Linda, their son Johnny and pet bulldog Lady Di with him. They are later joined by daughter Nancy, son Lee and other members of the extended family.

The character was created by Dominic Treadwell-Collins, who came up with the idea of the Carter family before he became the executive producer. The character was influenced by Treadwell-Collins' own father. Dyer was asked to play Mick and he accepted because the role was not typical of other roles he has played, and he was happy that Mick's partner would be played by Kellie Bright. Mick is described as a family man who is patriotic and kind, and it was said that he has a good partnership with Linda but they fight "like teenagers".

Mick's storylines have included overcoming his fear of water, taking the blame for soliciting after being arrested, the discovery that Shirley is not his sister but actually his mother, coping with Linda's rape by his brother Dean Wicks, the death of his grandfather Stan Carter from terminal cancer, becoming a father to Ollie Carter, blaming Nancy when Ollie is seriously injured during a fight between her and Lee, discovering that Lee instigated a robbery at The Queen Vic, ongoing financial issues and developing feelings for his daughter-in-law, Whitney Carter. Dyer took a short break from the show in early 2017. Mick has also feuded with former friend Stuart Highway and was framed by Stuart for his attempted murder – a storyline which helped to aid Dyer's short break in 2018.

92. Cindy Williams Jr

Scene 4 points

Cindy Williams has been played by four actresses since being introduced in 1998. Her mother, Cindy Beale, dies in labour with her. She is then brought up by her maternal grandmother and aunt off-screen. Ella Wortley and Cydney Parker both portrayed the role from 1998 to 1999, followed by Eva Sayer in a brief appearance in 2007. On 18 July 2013, it was announced that Cindy would return to the series as a regular character, with Mimi Keene taking over the role. Cindy leaves her home in Devon to join her half-siblings Peter and Lucy Beale in Walford. Since being re-established in 2013, she has featured in storylines that see her learn of (and subsequently come to terms with) the murder of sister Lucy, a relationship with Liam Butcher and struggling as a teenage mother to daughter Beth Williams. Cindy made her departure on 17 August 2015.

Cindy junior had potential but went to soon and there was confusion in the direction of the character. Mick is fine, he has had some good moments and i prefer him to alfie moon but he came nowhere close to making my rate.

Mick is strongly held up by the much superior Linda.
That said, the Carter's need to have their kids back in the square to change their dynamic.
Linda's Mother and Aunt Babe making a return would also be welcomed.
