We dispute that alternative fact also. Persephonia seems to have an awfully anti-Ashton agenda as of late. The government appears to have forgotten we were one of the two nations that aided it in it's battle against it's ostrich invasion.

Ha, I found my votes for BJSC 28 (and many others) the other day while backing up some files...my commentary said: "It's been a fantastic show, and it's gone out in style if this is to be the last in the current format."
I can't remember the semantics but looking back I guess we were under the assumption that doing the 'unknown' style of voting was going to become a long-term thing! Looking at my votes I've also remembered that I docked Sky Ferreira by 11 points because it was so damn cheap. It was easily my favourite song in the contest (#3 in my chart at the time) but I only gave it 7 points because it was just so damn uninspired (so it fell from the top to the bottom of my 9/10+ rated songs bracket as a penalty). That Darin/Molly fight was epic though (Darin got my 18, Molly 8, but I was ecstatic for Ashton to win, obviously). I haven't been so happy with the other tied winners mind... BJSC 94 update YTD by points - Ultraviolenceland had their first non top 10 of the year but still have a comfortable lead and become the first country to pass 1,000 points in 2017. South Danaelanda cut the lead from 230 points to 182. With another top 15 hit under their belt, Espen move up another place to the bronze medal slot, pushing Ramrynia down to 4th. The top 5 is completed by an insurgent Trifoski following their win with Drones Club, moving them up 12-5. - Cor Lupus drop back a place to 6th. Unovia earnt their first top 10 hit of the year and as a result climb from 10 to 7 here, while another top 10 showing from Hendinia returns them to the YTD top 10 after dropping out last month, bouncing back 15-8. BJSC 95 update YTD by points - Ultraviolenceland had another fairly average result in BJSC 95 but qualifying alone was likely to see them retain the top spot and indeed they're still treading water fairly comfortably at #1. South Danaelanda are still second, cutting the gap from 182 points to 158, as they along with 7 other countries join Ultraviolenceland in having over 1,000 points. Espen finished 11th for a second month in a row and very nearly take 2nd place in the YTD, they hold 3rd but are only 13 points behind S DNLD now. Ramrynia also hold their position in 4th. Then completing the top 5, hold onto your wigs everyone, Aeroche are coming! A top 3 finish in BJSC 95, their first top 10 of the year, sees them climb 10-5. - Unovia also got a top 10 this month and were nearly the top 5 entry instead of Aeroche, they climb a place to #6 just four points off the top 5. Cor Lupus slide a place to #7, while Trifoski drop from 5 to 8 as their ~controversial~ auto-qualifier... actually did way better than predicted, but still not well enough to hold off most challengers. They did however just about hold off Hendinia, who fall a place to #9 despite coming 6th in BJSC 95. Completing the top 10, a surprise top 5 hit for #00274E sees them climb 14-10, nudging Pupok out of the top tier (they drop 9-12, also falling behind St. Burbia who climb 13-11. Poor Hell Hound) - Like Aeroche, Altyr Muunilinst are never to be counted out in the YTD - they also claimed their first top 10 hit of the year in BJSC 95 and move up 16-13, having qualified in every final this year so far. FARC have come top 10 three times in a row since their latest comeback, taking BJSC 95's silver medal, and have been zooming up the YTD list, now moving up 26-15. Yehesi and The Actual Republic of Bellamia both climb into the top 20, 25-19 and 22-20 respectively.
