Well it looks like that Righteous Young project has been scrapped that Wynter introduced last year, can't say I am gutted about that as the one song we got from it was very disappointing. Instead she is now releasing a 5 track EP called 'Five Needle' on June 2nd, so not very long away at all. She has premiered the first song from it, the rather lovely 'Bleeding Out'. Not blowing me away as such, probably because the Human Condition: Doleo EP was played to death by me and was by far and away one of my favourite releases of 2012. I think this will grow though and it is still really really nice. Glad to have some set plans as well.

This is absolutely f***ing SUBLIME. She has never disappointed me, but i expected her to for some reason this time (mainly because of that odd 'Righteous Young' thing that happened and then didn't happen) but MY GOD she is back. Maybe the fact i am in a horrific mood tonight as it is, but this is cutting into me and tearing me up.

I love this SO SO MUCH just in case i didn't say already :'( She is incredible, always.
It's like a softer, more gentle side to 'Sanguine', more ethereal and unnerving than 'Doleo' but slots perfectly in between the two. I need the EP if this is the new sound !!! |

Good to hear Davidson! It's such a wonderful track, my favourite of the moment and now i'm itching to hear more from the EP.
Trying to order a top 5 Wynter tracks is almost IMPOSSIBLE though. Without exaggerating, i don't think there's a single song of her's that i haven't at least liked but most of them i LOVE. I'll have a go: 1. Dirty Talk 2. Back To You 3. In The Morning 3. Bad Thing 4. Lucky Ones (but these should also be top 5 Levitate, Tomorrow, Reach Out, TKO, Nervous, Till Death, Still Getting Younger, Stimela... basically i have no idea ) |

This EP is just incredible. I was scared it would be disappointing because Part 2 of 'The Human Condition' really had nothing on Part 1 and I wasn't that mad on The Righteous Young project before it was scrapped, but she has come back as good as ever. This is almost as consistent as 'Doleo' and her debut album for me, everything is just so lovely.
I think 'Against The Time' is in my top 5 songs of the year already. Massive. |

This is so damn good. The artwork is perfect too.
'Home' and 'World on Fire' are the highlights at the moment but it's all wonderful 😍 |

Yeah this EP is once again incredible. I don't know how she does it, but everytime she comes with a new musical direction and still manages to pull it off effortlessly. So much soul and emotion packed into it.
My usual complaint with her is that she never gives us ENOUGH. The EP is wonderful but so short and over before it really begins :'( So good to have new music from her though, i can't complain. |

Pretty sure this is my favourite release of the year now, all so strong.
Just a shame it's so short, like you say, Bal! |
