Another top album moment for me but I'm quite thrilled 'Like It or Not' made it this far. It's the perfect album closer: after being all introspective and questioning, Madonna is definite and states she will not give up or change her behaviours and attitudes. However, this isn't exactly a "f*** you" moment - she welcomes the criticism; people can make their own assumptions and conclusions about her. They'll do it anyway and after all, as explored in 'How High', she put herself in this position and she must focus on the things that are important: her family and friends, not the opinions of strangers. The production feels quite dark at moments but at the same time is quite restrained, which is definitely needed after an albums-worth of big pop moments.
Next Round: Saturday 14 November
Round 04: Like It or Not (09/15; 60.00%)
Round 03: How High (04/16; 25.00%, joint with 'Future Lovers', lost deadlock 08/13; 61.54%)
Round 02: I Love New York (04/16; 25.00%)
Round 01: Push (06/12; 50.00%)
Isaac
I have to go for 'Future Lovers' now despite LOVING it. Just shows how strong i find the album :'( Gosh this is already near-impossible.
*hides from John*
'Future Lovers' again for me too. That or 'Get Together' (my next choice, you've been warned).
I'll back you to the hilt on getting Get Together out. My least favourite single, by far.
Anyway it has to be Isaac for me this time. It really has done well for itself making it this far.
Isaac! It's already lasted much further than it should.
the f*** is this Future Lovers hate
Future Haters
Isaac. It's already come too far.
'Future Lovers'
All at least 9/10 moments after that. Which is still a solid 8/10.
