Filming has started on the sequel to the 2014 smash hit and Hugh Grant & Brendan Gleeson have been announced as joining the returning cast.

Paddington was one of my favourite movies of 2014 so I'm very much looking forward to this and hope that it doesn't disappoint.

I actually saw the first movie a couple years ago (despite it not being my kind of film at ALL) but really enjoyed it! So much so this news of a sequel has pleased me smile.gif

LOVED the first one, but the thought of Hugh Grant makes me worry sad.gif

Paddington was quite good. Hoping this doesn't disappoint though.

Didn't think that this would have a sequel. Looking forward to this but a bit sceptical about it though for some reason.

THIS MADE ME CRY cry.gif Every bit as charming, funny, sweet, light-hearted and British as the first one so if you loved that then you'll definitely enjoy this too. Hugh Grant was a brilliant bad guy and was clearly have heaps of fun in the role, him dressing up as a load of different characters was a great idea and I love that he doesn't take himself too seriously. The family aspect of things was as heart-warming as ever and as soon I started realising where the ending was going, tears started forming until they ended up pouring out after Paddington's Aunt was at the door. I very rarely cry at movies so I don't know if it was because I was in a funny mood today or what but props to this movie for making me fall in love and connect with this group of characters so badly. I really, really, really hope a third instalment is on the cards wub.gif

Very much on a par with the first one and one of the quotes I saw on a poster was right, it's hands down the best family movie of the year.

The cub version of Paddington is so cute cry.gif And for me it's battling with "Call Me By Your Name" for best movie ending of the year (I mean the bit where Aunt Lucy shows up but Hugh Grant's dance routine in jail was great too laugh.gif). "Murder on the Orient Express" could take some lessons in how to stage tense scenes involving a train.

I also had no idea that Joseph had a cameo in this!! ohmy.gif (the kid outside the barber shop who didn't want to have his hair cut heehee.gif)
