Obviously Adele and Coldplay will be far and away #1 and #2 in the albums, I guess the interesting thing album wise this week is if the X factor final helps Fleur or if she plummets, will it boost Little Mix to its highest weekly sales and if it can help 1D's album recover to top 5.

According to Mint Royale Adele sold another 111,000 copies yesterday alone.

I would definitely think so. I mean the audience numbers last night were something as awful as 5.9 million, which is so far away from the 13.7 million in 2008, and down way more than 2 million on last years figures.
Ben opened with 214,000 copies last year. I can kind of see an opening of about 120,000-130,000 this year. Maybe it will do more than I think but I can see it being a drastic fall indeed. Seeing as JB is selling around the 113,000 mark, I can see it getting #1 but not by much. |

It's more likely people who follow it are the ones who are going to be purchasing, not fleeting viewers. I would love Louisa to do better than Ben, but the viewing figures and the show's decline into irrelevancy isn't giving me much hope. I think Ben's song last year not being very well known helped him too, and I'm not sure if I can see the same happening this year. |
