'Emotions' is the lead single from Mariah's second album of the same name, released in August 1991. All four of the singles from her self-titled debut hit #1 in the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and 'Emotions' followed suit, topping the chart for 3 weeks! The single also hit #1 in Canada. The uptempo number made full use of Mariah's celebrated upper range and whistle register.

I am appalled. Don't know if I can get over Emotions not even making the top 10.

I always quite liked Honey but I now officially hate it out of vengeance.

You can take comfort from the fact it only made it to 21st position in the 2013 Mariah rate, with a 6.588235 average score. ;o I actually think it's done very well to get as high as it has done this time around.
