Corbyn's the Leader Of Her Majesty's Loyal Opposition and as such should have got spruced up and attended the State Banquet last night. No excuses. Nothing can excuse his absence. Hardly very loyal to the Monarch was he? It's like trying to have a conversation with a brainwashed parrot. I can only assume you endorse all of Trumps atrocities, since your head is so far up his rear. Any opinions on Trumps wishes to have the NHS on the table in any negotiations that we do on trade deals with the US? That OK with you? Who I am kidding, you'll just ignore it and won't respond. Ha ha. So it's all coming out. Trump said Corbyn asked for a meeting but he refused to see him and Corbyn's office has confirmed this. Good on you Mr. President. He's a disgrace and you don't need to meet him. Keep going Chris - you've only a little distance upward before you clear Trump's alimentary canal and on your way up through the oesophagus - in no time you'll be out through his mouth. I hope you didn't find navigating his rectum too difficult on your travels! |

I have treated this state visit with the attention and concentration it deserved... by completely ignoring it.

Agreed. I can't imagine caring this much about the whereabouts of anyone, let alone that guy.
As Royal commentator Ingrid Seward writes in today's Sun he acted very immaturely. And Trump's original comments were a lot more immature and uncalled for, but I suppose that doesnt bother you for some reason.

I feel the weather in London today has been very apt for reflecting our feelings towards his visit.

Mr Trump is the President of the United States of America and we are all obligated to give him respect he deserves. P.s. no quips or crappy remarks, even if he insults your wife, wants to take your health care away and thinks your mother has HIV! Don't be mean to Donald!!! ......... ;-) |

As Royal commentator Ingrid Seward writes in today's Sun he acted very immaturely. He was the third most Senior royal in the room at lunch-time and should have made sure he spoke to Trump. In fact he should have been formally introduced to him. Let's see if he ignored him then. He's gone right down in my estimation. If he doesn't want to do his duties and fully support The Queen then let him get a job and stop taking money from his father or rather the Duchy Of Cornwall. I know he's not on the Civil List. Here in the real world, the exact opposite is true. Harry has shown himself to have great maturity and courage. He can only continue to rise in my estimations. What he has done for members of the armed forces injured in the line of duty is outstanding. The invictus games is an absolute triumph. You’re one to talk about taking money from to public purse and not working. Job shy w*** |

The FLOT (Fat Lying Orange Thing) has been in Ireland. While he was there, he compared the Irish border issue with his own Mexico / US border issue as if they were identical problems. Taoiseach Leo Varadkar had to point out (very politely) that the issues could hardly be more different. That didn't stop the FLOT carrying on as if the two issues were comparable.
If I was one of the people employed to prepare briefing notes for Trump, I think I'd be questioning whether there might be a more constructive use of my time. |

And so today he had talks with Emanuel Macron and babbled on about the EU negotiations with the UK. The dimwit seems to think the negotiations were still ongoing. Macron looked like he was struggling not to burst out laughing at the FLOT's ignorance. Why are there so many Americans who don't get that their president is a national embarrassment?

He just kept saying everything will be alright. Over and over again. This post has been edited by Common Sense: 6th June 2019, 10:03 PM |

I haven't at all. He said everything will be okay with Brexit and I agree with that. Even if everything is OK (and that's a very big if), that's still a long way short of the sunlit uplands promised by the Leave campaign. As for Trump simply sitting there repeating platitudes, that is the sign of an utter moron, not a statesman. |

So Trump has claimed in a tweet that the moon is part of Mars. Anyone still think he isn't a moron?

So Trump has claimed in a tweet that the moon is part of Mars. Anyone still think he isn't a moron? I hate to stand up for trump but he gets confused with science stuff. So yes a moron. But I think he means it's part of the programme to get to mars - which it is - but it's not the aim in and of itself. He's been listening to fox news again shagging off going back to the moon "cos we don't need to as did that 50 years ago" in much the same way as we didn't need to go back to the USA 50 years after first visiting as 16th century fox news would have scrawled on parchment at the time.... |

This, of course, contradicts his previous pledge to return to the moon. His capacity for slagging off his own pronouncements knows no bounds. |
