Very jealous of anyone snapping up Confidence Man! The remix EP is fab.

Did anyone get Swedish House Mafia singles or The Prodigy remix album?

By the time I got to the front of the queue Taylor had gone, but then again it was midday.

Very happy to have been able to get Madison Avenue and Self Esteem though. I love Compliments Please and didn’t have it on any format. Never heard the Madison Avenue album but bought all of the singles at the time.

The prices this year are insane though. Would have got one more (probably Ellie Goulding) if they weren't nearly £40 each.

The prices are indeed ridiculous and imo the quality has decreased also. I haven’t even bothered today, I’ll wait and see if the Groove Armada album gets reduced later in the year but that’s still all I want.

I thought they were broadly ok except for The Sweet which was an insane 35€ and I would never have gone for it if Ballroom Blitz wasn’t quite a sentimental/meaningful track

OMG I've just spotted the PM Dawn album on the list, how have I missed that until now?!!!

(although saying that I do have it twice already but neither copy sounds that amazing)

So it turns out I didn’t spot the Broken Social Scene album on the list either! Fortunately they had a copy left in Rough Trade when I went in today.

No sign of Groove Armada though so I’ll have to hope somewhere is selling online later

Finally tracked down the Taylor vinyl from Bending Sound. God what a rip-off, but it's the one I wanted the most.

The others I wanted though I will have to leave now. I'm broke.

I experienced a major case of FOMO and ended up buying Taylor's Folklore The Long Pond Studio Sessions. It cost £56.99 (including £4 postage). Eek. Prices are seriously out of hand now. Yet I still bought it.

I know that 5+ years ago, I would have considered any vinyl over £25 to be in "overpriced" territory, but these days that would be considered as being a reasonable price.

I was in Barcelona so I assumed no one cared about Taylor here cos in Spain most people only listen to Spanish music but alas, went to a bunch of shops at 10am and all were sold out, all told me they only had like 2 copies and fans were outside since 5am... then I called my friend in Denmark who went to check and the Taylor album was everywhere with tons of copies so they grabbed me 1. Agree price is crazy though...

Made the worst decision of my life yesterday, buy RSD products from Banquet records' online sale. It was hellish, I would never recommend anyone to do it.

Still, I beat over 100K people to get the Taylor vinyl!!! Also got The 1975 Cd & Tape (250K+ looking for that one), London Grammar, Loyle Carner & Foals!

Black Light was soooooo worth getting as it sounds amazing *.* The best Groove Armada album by far, horrendously underrated.

ohmy.gif I always use Banquet for RSD and I've never had an issue, including the other day, sorry it wasn't a great experience for you. cry.gif Well done on your purchases *.*

I also got Taylor and it arrived yesterday wub.gif Hella expensive but now that I have it I certainly don't regret my purchase. Looking forward to giving it a play today.

Otherwise it's been quite a busy week for vinyl deliveries... I also got the European colour reissues of Britney's In the Zone, Blackout and Circus, although the first two had some sleeve damage so I'm getting them replaced, ugh. Also Mariah's The Rarities 4LP *.*

Yeah, I usually have exceptionally positive experiences with Banquet but the website kept crashing (probs due to demand). I managed to get the CD and tape later in the week so that's good. I also have quite a busy delivery week, with all the RSD stuff coming alongside J. Cole's 2014 Forest Hills Drive reissue and The Weeknd's My Dear Melancholy 5 year anniversary vinyl
