Back for its eighth series - and third on ITV - from 5th January. Olly Murs, Jennifer Hudson, Sir Tom Jones and will.I.am are all back in their chairs this year, and Emma Willis is back hosting again. Trailer: This post has been edited by WhoOdyssey: Mar 14 2021, 03:23 PM |

What's the point really? I fail to see how it's entertaining from watching the most recent series and the prize is nul and void. I'm surprised it has fans!

What’s the prize? I assume it’s some kind of record deal?

I don't find this terrible as such, but I never care enough to watch it. It's not hugely entertaining but it kind of toes that line between competent and boring, it's never had that sort of excitement and drama of peak X Factor, it's just a bunch of people singing well enough and seeing who gets one top 100 hit and then fades into obscurity It's ok if I'm really bored and nothing is on.
What’s the prize? I assume it’s some kind of record deal? Record deal with Polydor, and 0 support so they flop |

No but Mo took until the following March, I still highly doubt anything she releases will do anything though.

Lonnie Donegan's son Peter was amazing, Mollie was just perfection her voice... wow I was mesmerise and she chose Olly as her coach, but the highlight for me had to be the last act, where the girl sang with Jennifer Hudson, it was her dream. Not a bad opener if I have to be honest, the trio of girls were pretty good as well.

I actually really enjoyed tonight’s show . The talent was good and the coaches all have such a natural chemistry together .

Not sure if anyone is still watching this... but... Moya just performed, all 4 judges turned, wow what a performance.
I remember Earthbound from her |

I really believe Olly's got the winner after tonight. Jimmy Balito's performance was stunning:

Olly's team - Jimmy and Molly are in the final along with two of Sir Tom's team - the wildcard winner Betzienna (who was awesome and he should have picked at knockouts to begin with) and Deana (who was rubbish and looks like Honey G off X Factor).
Jimmy absolutely knocked it out the park again tonight - really hope he wins next weekend! |

The 4 who got through tonight were definitely the right four.
Also random note but does anyone else think Will and Jennifer make their favourites very obvious. In the battles and kncokouts before the performances even happened I instantly knew who both would pick. They make it very obvious and it’s unfair on some of the others. Jennifer constantly telling Nicole she reminded her of her was a large giveaway she was her chosen one. In a way I’m glad the pair of them have no acts in the final. Olly and Tom seem far more neutral and are better at being an equal mentor to all of their team members. |

Even taking that out the equation though, Will has made some shocking choices this series so I'm not surprised he's got no acts left. That rubbish boyband NXTGEN (three fifths of Yes Lad who were previously on The X Factor, which made for an awkward moment during knockouts a few weeks ago when Nicole Scherzinger as guest mentor for Will recognised them straight away) should never have gone through, Callum Butterworth who he stole during the battles should have gone through. Jennifer I find irritating to be honest. Especially when she does that whole 'I THROW MY SHOE DOWN AT Y'ALL CAUSE YOU GOT SOUL' bit, it's getting annoying. |

The Facebook confirmation of this is full of middle aged woman saying who is she
How can they know Jennifer but not Meghan. Meghans definitely had more UK success than J-HUD unless I’m missing something. I’ve seen Meghan on the four and she wasn’t too bad on that she’s very passionate about those that she likes. Maybe this could be good for her UK career too to get it back on track. |

I’ve really enjoyed The Voice Kids format of having a show on every night for a week do you think The Voice and The X Factor would benefit being on every night for 2 weeks instead of each week?
