Seen three of these and I can't believe Arkin won really, what a nothingy performance
1 Earle Haley (a really interesting performance, I've never hated a character more than his but then he even makes you slightly sympathise with him. Definitely deserved the win here but I can see why they didn't give this sort of role the win) 2 Murphy (a bit of a dull performance too but at least he sang and danced a bit...) 3 Arkin (legit just played an old man doing nothing, don't get how this was deemed a win worthy performance?!) I liked Pitt in Babel, he would have made a decent nominee this year too. Would probably have been my second favourite from the ones I've seen. |
