I don't think I've heard the new Charlie song, but I sure hope it's an improvement on Marvin Gaye and See You Again, both of which I found immensely annoying.

Big up R1 for adding Protoje/Chronixx.
The song itself is old though - I first heard it over a year ago and it was A-Listed on 1Xtra during the summer of 2014. Intrigued to see why it's being pushed mainstream now. The song deserves to be pushed though, pure reggae vibes. Good to see Future/Drake added too. Surprised In2 hasn't been A-Listed, although I suspect it will next week. MNEK on the A-List is a good look for him, shame his weakest song will be his biggest smash since Ready For Your Love. |

Charlie Puth's song is decent compared to that shiteous 'Marvin Gaye' thing.

In regards to the retro playlist, imagine if that many songs were added in this day and age *.* Also love that, that Five song went straight onto the B-List

'No Reptiles' is not one of my favourites from the EE album but good to see them getting another song playlisted anyway, hope this can shift another few copies of the album. Good to see Halsey added as well (her first song to be playlisted?) and MNEK/Format:B moving up

As if they've still got Taylor Swift on the playlist! Seems they're as determined for it to do as well in the Top 40 as it can too.
Not so keen on the new Everything Everything but I suppose it shows a different side to the album than the singles so far. None of the new entries are jumping out at me but I'll give them a listen anyway. I don't think I've heard the new Charlie song, but I sure hope it's an improvement on Marvin Gaye and See You Again, both of which I found immensely annoying. It is quite decent in comparison, only major bad point is the "superman got nothing on me" line as mentioned above. |
