Okay so there's a theory going round that this will drop on July 9th!
Taylor mentions July 9th on Last Kiss and July 9th is 13 weeks after April 9th so this wouldn't shock me at all if it became true

I don’t mind this coming next and I think it’s probably the smarter option. 1989 will have hype and interest no matter when it is released whereas speak now won’t if it gets left to one of the last ones

I really hope she decides to release 'Enchanted' as the song to launch this campaign! I feel like that could do just as well as (if not better due to the ready made viral Tik Toks) 'All Too Well' in all honesty.
Maybe 1989 for the Summer months and SN getting the big Q4 - Red type push?

I thought it would have made more sense to release 1989 in the big Q4 and to release SN, like now! That’s what I thought she’d have gone for but who knows what her plan is. One thing I’m feel pretty certain of, we’ll have both of them by the end of the year…

Def agree on Enchanted being the perfect lead! I'm hoping for collabs with Hayley Williams and Avril Lavigne if there are any Better Than Revenge style vault tracks.
1989 sounds more like a summer album to me while SN is more autumnal, but who knows what'll happen!

Another theory via Twitter:
"Taylor Swift could announce "Speak Now TV" on Friday, June 17. "Red TV" was announced on June 18 (Scooter Braun's birthday). "RED" is also written on the scooter panel in "The Man" mv and "Speak Now" is written next to the panel"

deffo not coming this year... what we know about taylor is she cares about chart success and stats... she's not going to drop something now to risk it underperforming and i think there's still life in Midnights for another 2 singles.
I would say a re-release would come no earlier than March/April at this point... maybe even alongside whenever the tour starts.

I always forget just how much I love this album until I listen to it, but it's top 3 or top 4 in Taylor's discography. She'll probably be releasing these separately so that SN(TV) and it's Vault tracks continue to be just her as the credited songwriter. It's kind of the albums biggest flex and the fact it's highly regarded as her best album, by many!

She filmed a video in Liverpool over the weekend with Joey King (confirmed) and supposedly Taylor Lautner! From the leaked pics it has something to do with a bank heist or something
Considering Joey starred in the video for Mean, she dated Taylor just before this era & he inspired some of the songs on the album, and some of the props seen on the shoot are from the Speak Now era, surely this has to be a video for a speak now song?!?!
Maybe it’s actually finally coming soon!

The hype is insane! Massive engagement on the announcement posts (more on IG than Midnights'). I'M SO EXCITED!
I'll be honest, the cover art hasn't fully clicked with me yet. might take a bit of time... and also a shame at how pricey the Vinyl and CD releases are on her store! Probs going to wait and see if it pops up on Amazon.

There seems to be a little bit of buzz for the Hayley Williams collab (the Fall Out Boy one seems to have no hype atm)

I'm going the whole way through, up to Dear John so far!
Mine & Sparks Fly sounded so different to me on first listen because I'm so used to the original versions It was the backing vocals on the chorus for Mine and Sparks Fly sounds a lot slower than the original? Her vocals sound so good on both though
'Dear John' has had the biggest glow up for me so far, she sounds GORGEOUS on it!

Just started taking my first listen through. Going form start to finish. Been waiting for this moment. So far I'm loving how I can hear the instruments so much more clearly than I feel I could before and a more mature voice is adding another level to these for me. It is strange to not have a young Taylor teenage angst voice if that makes sense. My favourites so far are sparks Fly and speak now but that's not surprising as that's two of my favs from the original.

Just finished the non-vault songs and WOW I absolutely loved it and her vocals were so stunning throughout!
The Story Of Us sounds SO good, the production being a bit more rock combined with the new vocals makes it so much better than the original imo!! Enchanted & Haunted (my 2 favourites from the original) were both sounding AMAZING and even better than their original versions too!
Unpopular opinion but right now it's just the first 2 songs that I need to get used to / weren't instantly hitting for me. Could very well just be that I was really tired when I started the album though

'Superman' continues to be one of the most underrated and under appreciated GEMS of her discography! It's SOOOO GOOD! 'Haunted' was EVERYTHING I wanted it to be LOVE LOVE LOVE that song so much!
The vault tracks are solid. I don't think Patrick was needed on 'Electric Touch' and that's odd because he has such a unique voice that it SHOULD feel like he was needed/added for a reason. But you could literally throw anyone else on the track with her and it'd be the same? Honestly, I think it should probably have been a solo song. It was really good though. 'When Emma Falls In Love' does feel like it's in the middle of the 'Fearless' and 'Speak Now' eras. I like it though.
'I Can See You' is gaining traction on socials, I'm not *quite* at that level yet, but it's solid. 'Castles Crumbling' is nice. I'm not a HUUUUGE Hayley fan and like Patrick, I'm not sure I would feel any different if it was her on this track or not tbh. 'Foolish One' is nice. Definitely the most filler of the 'Speak Now' era tbh, not just the vaults. 'Timeless' is GORGEOUS though. Probably the only one of the vault songs that I think could have actually made 'Speak Now' originally. Really beautiful!

I think the Speak Now vault is probably my favourite of the 3 so far I am OBSESSED with Electric Touch - it's probably in my top 5 of the album overall which is so ironic bc I was expecting not to like it when the tracklist was announced

I forgot just how perfect this album is (bar the obvious exception, screaming at it already nearly being last of the standard album tracks on the 1st update despite not even being in the final 3 tracks on the album)
Better than revenge is slaying considering it’s album placement! I’m surprised it’s ahead of enchanted considering it’s after it on the album, tho I guess that’s the power of the lyric change intrigue!

This is my first Speak Now experience. Never listened to the OG Album and I don’t think I ever heard any of the singles at all.
Brilliant, I’m so glad I had the willpower to not listen to the albums already.
Enchanted, Better Than Revenge and Haunted were all built up to be strong tracks and I was not disappointed. Loving the first listen, can’t wait to explore more.

Out of the vault tracks, When Emma Falls in Love and I can See You are by far my favs. Love Taylor's story telling and how relatable the Emma song is and I can see you is very addictive!

It's so surreal hearing Taylor's versions of these songs. The refreshed production, Taylor's more mature vocal, it's incredible. The album sounds just as phenomenal as it always has, Taylor's really done it justice! The new lyric in Better Than Revenge will take some getting used to, was never bothered with the old lyric but can appreciate why Taylor wanted to change it. Enchanted and Better Than Revenge remain THOSE songs, it's whiplash having them side-by-side in the best possible way, one extreme emotion to the other. I adore them both so I'm happy to see them slaying Apple Music so far!
It's still all about the 14 track standard for me. Ours and Superman definitely have deluxe written all over them, and I think the tracklist is a bit too long for me to truly appreciate the Vault songs on first play, I'll have to hear them in their own right. On first play though, When Emma Falls in Love and I Can See You were my favourites (and Castles Crumbling is the better of the two collabs).

I can't decide what I want to be the single for this TV, Electric Touch is fantastic standard radio-friendly pop (and Patrick's voice doesn't harshen the song!) but I Can See You is just... WOW. That is a breath of fresh air for Taylor.

Those numbers really show how much Taylor's grown globally over the past year, for Fearless and Red the US made up more than half her numbers!
I've only had time for one listenthrough so far but Long Live is really standing out to me! It was never a top tier fave from the original album for me but it's really hitting rn. Everything beyond the standard tracklist feels kinda inessential (I really don't get I Can See You, hoping that clicks eventually) but I like the Hayley collab. Overall vault-wise I'd say it's Red (easily) > SN > Fearless.

Not to downplay the success bit think red had much bigger competition where loyalties would of been divided , ABBA was in week 2, Ed = was in week 3 and Little mix between us debuted that week as well , I know I was flip flopping between Taylor and LM
